16/03/2026: It would be a perfect place, except for the General Manager. I came here after getting a recommendation from a local for a place to eat raw Gamberi Rosso (the equivalent of Dokdo Shrimp in Korea), and it was delicious. The young server at my table was also a nice person... However, I felt uncomfortable every time the bearded old man manager spoke. I got the feeling he was subtly trying to get me to order something else, and his attitude of clearing our table's belongings without saying a word made me question if he was right, so I left feeling annoyed haha. If you want to have a good meal on your last day in Florence only to have your mood ruined, you can go there. Even though I spent nearly 300,000 won on food like that.

30/10/2025: Discovered by chance, but what a find! The place is small but clean, and the staff are very welcoming. The food—in this case, pizza and Neapolitan pastiera—are exceptional. We'll be back for the traditional Neapolitan pasta dishes.

22/03/2026: The pizzone are excellent, a good choice for at least two people to share, and can also be made with two different flavors. I also tried the crescia di Urbino, which wasn't bad. The berry panna cotta was excellent. Reservations are required, and they don't always answer.

21/06/2025: La Trattoria Il Giardino è una vera istituzione a Firenze, un angolo di autenticità dove tradizione e calore si incontrano in ogni dettaglio. A rendere tutto ancora più speciale c’è Manlio, il gestore: accogliente, generoso, sempre pronto a raccontarti con passione ogni piatto e a farti sentire come un amico di vecchia data. Il menù è un inno alla cucina toscana: lo stracotto é morbido, saporito, cotto lentamente come vuole la tradizione. I pici al ragù’ sono un capolavoro, mentre la fiorentina è semplicemente perfetta: tenera, succosa e cotta alla perfezione. Ottima anche la selezione di vini, rigorosamente toscani, con proposte che esaltano ogni piatto. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è più che onesto, considerando l’eccellenza dei prodotti e l’esperienza complessiva. L’ambiente è curato ma informale, perfetto per una cena tra amici, in famiglia o anche per un’occasione romantica. Il servizio è rapido, attento e sempre con il sorriso. 07/03/2026: Good evening, negative personal experience. I must say first that I am Neapolitan, therefore accustomed to eating typical Campania products. The worst fried filling I have ever eaten was the unleavened dough, cooked incorrectly, the oil not at the right temperature, the filling was unbalanced, almost non-existent. The Margherita was the same, unleavened dough and the taste did not reflect the true Campania traditions, almost at the level of a frozen Cameo pizza. The cuoppo, for the excessive cost of 6 euros, had four seafood fritters and a mozzarella in carrozza. Disappointment, I had high expectations, I strongly advise against it!

The welcome was impeccable: the staff were kind, helpful, and always smiling. The room was perfect, spotlessly clean, and meticulously cared for; nothing was missing. It was a wonderful stay that made our experience in Florence even better. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to feel pampered.

01/02/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by the new management of Cantinacce. It's located in an open countryside setting, where we enjoyed excellent traditional Tuscan dishes like peposo and gnudi, with truly fantastic service.

16/11/2025: A tiny little osteria. This season, there's only 14 seats inside in a bright space, and Francesca and Alice are attentive, efficient, and smiling, serving both humans and animals. The varied menu features traditional Tuscan fare, starting with an entrée offering pappa al pomodoro in the form of a small tartare. There were six of us, and we chose and exchanged the various dishes, all tasty and traditional, with a focus on vegetarians. €40 per person, including a Montalcino red, water, coffee, cheesecake, and a pear in wine. We'll definitely return, perhaps in the warmer months, when they can seat at least twenty more.

31/12/2025: This restaurant and pizzeria is located right in the town center. Here you can enjoy pizza made with different types of flour. Don't expect Neapolitan pizza, because it won't be like that. Here you'll find a fine, delicious pizza made with top-quality ingredients. Prices are reasonable.

08/03/2026: Not knowing Florence, we chose this restaurant based on the positive reviews, the menu, and its proximity to the train station, and it was a truly perfect choice. We were greeted by the delightful owner, who, despite the restaurant being packed, managed to seat us and offer honest recommendations. We ordered three traditional first courses, a 1kg Florentine steak that we split between three, water, 1 liter of wine, and digestifs, for a total of €100. Everything was delicious, and the prices, in my opinion, were reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
