21/06/2025: La Trattoria Il Giardino è una vera istituzione a Firenze, un angolo di autenticità dove tradizione e calore si incontrano in ogni dettaglio. A rendere tutto ancora più speciale c’è Manlio, il gestore: accogliente, generoso, sempre pronto a raccontarti con passione ogni piatto e a farti sentire come un amico di vecchia data. Il menù è un inno alla cucina toscana: lo stracotto é morbido, saporito, cotto lentamente come vuole la tradizione. I pici al ragù’ sono un capolavoro, mentre la fiorentina è semplicemente perfetta: tenera, succosa e cotta alla perfezione. Ottima anche la selezione di vini, rigorosamente toscani, con proposte che esaltano ogni piatto. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è più che onesto, considerando l’eccellenza dei prodotti e l’esperienza complessiva. L’ambiente è curato ma informale, perfetto per una cena tra amici, in famiglia o anche per un’occasione romantica. Il servizio è rapido, attento e sempre con il sorriso. Chi cerca la vera cucina fiorentina, con porzioni generose, ingredienti di qualità e un’accoglienza sincera, non può non passare da Il Giardino. Grazie Manlio, tornerò presto. E porterò rinforzi!

07/04/2026: Yesterday, Easter Monday, I had a truly amazing experience at Le Cantinacce. The excellent meat tasting menu began with a Tuscan antipasti platter of cured meats, pecorino cheese, and top-quality liver crostini. Next came a choice of first course: I opted for the gnudi au gratin with a fondue of aged pecorino cheese and truffle...indescribably delicious, it was enough to blow you away! For the second course, a tender and flavorful roast suckling pig topped with mouth-watering potatoes. And to finish, a refreshing lemon dessert with meringue and fresh strawberries. The whole-wheat and turmeric bread, fragrant and fragrant, is homemade. Wine, water, and coffee were included in the €45 price tag, a truly exceptional value for money. The restaurant is run by a young, competent, polite, and attentive staff. The view of the Chianti hills is enchanting. Go there, you won't regret it.

07/05/2026: Great restaurant, great food, and very friendly staff. However, be prepared for a bit of a wait, so don't expect quick service as there are only 2-3 people working. We opted for the €15 set menu and were more than impressed with what we got for it. 🫶🏻

30/04/2026: I love this place—the simple, welcoming setting, the incredibly kind staff, and the excellent pizza. I went on Sunday with my boyfriend, and the gentleman who served us was incredibly nice. I had the chance to try both the pizza and the pizzone, and of the two, I recommend the pizzone to share. You can choose up to three flavors, and it's perfect for two people. Thanks so much, guys!

04/04/2026: About thirty kilometers from Florence, along quiet roads and relaxing countryside, this long-established trattoria maintains its standards of traditional Tuscan cuisine with a few rather pleasant "reinterpretations." Portions are generous, but mezze are also available. Today, tagliatelle with broccoli, sun-dried tomatoes, and salted ricotta cheese—to be commended. Then scamerita stew in red wine, with onion and aromatic herbs, and more... with Prosecco, mineral water, bread, and coffee. No-frills dining, lively service, sometimes noisy when crowded, regulars, families, and a few foreigners drawn by word of mouth. Fair prices (the Florentine steak, for example, is priced at 45 euros per kilo, compared to a low of 60 euros per kilo in nearby Florence, which ranges from a high of 140 euros). --- Given the beautiful day, we then climbed to the 1,000 meters of the Villombrosa Abbey, and then to the Consuma Pass, with snow starting at 700 meters. Exceptional on March 28th in a nativity scene landscape. Excellent itinerary, especially in summer, very relaxing and cool, especially when the temperatures in the plains are 30-40 degrees.

10/06/2026: Quick and easy way to enjoy A LOT of different varieties of pastas or sauces. The food is made with fresh ingredients and there’s a window if you’d like to watch the chef cook your food. Because they do both table and takeaway service, you can choose whether you’d like a more relaxing experience or a quick one. We had the Tuscan Ragú, which was excellent.

16/05/2026: Fantastic Restaurant in Certaldo. The food was incredible. We had a Caprese salad. The Mozzarella and Tomatoes were delicious. Mains included the Cuttlefish Ravioli and Pici with Tomato and Garlic (which had this amazing sweetness). Both mains were top class. The restaurant was busy however that did not impact the service. Lots of vegetarian options. While we did not have the pizza, it looked delicious and large.

06/06/2026: This place is definitely recommended. The sushi is top-notch, the staff is friendly and attentive to their needs, and they're always available to offer recommendations. The location is also beautiful. Compliments to the chef and the entire staff. We'll definitely be back.

05/06/2026: I tried Via Vai and I must say it was a truly wonderful discovery! Let's start with the assumption that it's à la carte sushi, but we booked through The Fork and got a 20% discount, so the bill was absolutely fair for the quality. The restaurant is intimate, elegant, and very welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere and attention to detail. The staff was also super friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the dinner. We chose to dine at the counter, with a direct view of the chef preparing the dishes: a truly unique and interesting experience, which made everything even more engaging. We ordered: * Seafood Tacos * Tuna Tataki * Salmon Tartare * Spicy Sake Gunkan * Octopus * Scampo Roll * Spicy Drago The Tuna Tataki and Tacos were incredible: balanced flavors, super fresh fish, and beautifully presented. The portions are generally very generous, so I highly recommend splitting the dishes between two people, as one each could be too much! I highly recommend this place: elegant decor, high quality, spectacular dishes, and a different experience than traditional sushi. We'll definitely be back!

09/06/2026: The air conditioning worked really well that was a big plus during the heat wave, breakfast was nice, and the staff was nice. Things that weren't great the noise from the rooftop bar. The pool closes at 6:00 pm. In a heat wave this is a bummer. There was mold in the shower. This is really far from the city center. Taxis add up.

06/06/2026: A very good hotel equipped with everything you need: a gym, a swimming pool, a terrace for enjoying refreshments with a great view. The receptionist, Elena, was very professional and a lovely woman, friendly and very professional.
