09/08/2024: Loved the place and the owner! A really nice vibe and the place was great. What let it down was the waiter, I don’t know if it was a language barrier but he came across rude and almost ruined the experience for us.
The owner was the nicest guy you’ll ever meet as well as the woman, just a shame that it was dampened by the service.
Pasta was good and the meat platter (second course) was a little mediocre. Would advise a pasta or pizza dish for sure.
Would come again if the service was improved.

06/08/2024: Excellent restaurant with an Italian ambiance and outside the tourism of Florence!
We went there for a biscetta at a more affordable price than in the center and we were not disappointed!
1,250 kg of meat of which we didn’t leave a piece…
We highly recommend going there for this meat and the faglioli, just delicious and typical from here :)

26/08/2024: They brought me some sandwich looking like mini club sandwich with mediocre ham and cheese with potato on side, which was saying prosciutto and cheese on the menu and I did not expect fries at all as it was supposed to be breakfast .

09/08/2024: the place is pleasant, the service, despite some flaws, is pleasant.
What I unfortunately didn't like was the food.
The pizza is so thin that it gets cold as soon as it arrives on the table and for me it is also difficult to digest.
A positive note is the limited expense with receipt.
I'm sorry but it's not worth it.

04/08/2024: I’ve no idea why this place is only 4.1. I’d leave 6 stars if I could. First, it has the atmosphere that puts you at ease, the quintessentially Italian way. I took a small table by the door on a quiet Sunday evening, with a wonderful view. Being the only non-Italian there made it even more special. It’s a place where elderly couples come for dinner, fathers meet sons, families come by and say a familiar “hi” to the owner and staff, folks from around the corner pick up their pizzas. The place felt one of the most local I’ve visited in Italy. Such a contrast to the rest of Florence centre.
Second, the food. 10/10. Wild boar pasta and tiramisu - unforgettable. I have the feeling the rest of the menu is superb too. All at completely reasonable prices.
Third - service. Top-notch but unpretentious. Attentive, fast, friendly.
So happy I came across it by chance, and definitely would come back!
02/08/2024: Very good restaurant! We went on the recommendation of the receptionist at our hotel and we liked it so much that we went again the next day and had dinner there again.
One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten in my life. And what to say about the tiramisu... out of 10! Plus the prices are quite reasonable.

28/06/2024: They are very nice, the pizza is good, they even let us sit without an appointment.
24/06/2024: If you want to take takeaway pizzas, have patience and order! Infinite waiting times, there's no point in booking the pizzas in advance, you'll still have to wait an infinite amount of time.
Last time 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting, today the lady (I want to say that she is always kind) told me "sorry we're a little late, 15 minutes and it's ready"....after 45 minutes they still had to wait be baked.
Next time I'll look for another pizzeria.
I want to add that you will see people passing you by even though we booked the pizza after you!
However, for those who like fine pizza, it is really good, and the prices are more than fair.

03/09/2024: Delicious, authentic food in the center of Florence. A bar in the style of a milk bar, where mainly Italians eat, it is worth visiting just for the atmosphere. Affordable prices: we paid €15.50 for two pastas, a beer and an appetizer.
I recommend it 😁

06/07/2024: Bistecci alla Fiorentina - a delight! Anyone who has ever been to Florence can try it. Expensive but worth the price and for normal eaters you should share the plate. With bones there are more than 1,500g of delicious house wine and a nice atmosphere in the vault on the 2nd basement
20/06/2024: We just passed by, entering we said that we spoke Spanish and they did not bother to make the first impression pleasant, then we sat down and we had no signal to translate the menu, we asked if there was Wi-Fi and in a very bad way they told us "but it is free", How were we going to know if it didn't say anywhere. Then they tell us that if we don't order within 15 minutes we should leave... obviously we left right away.
We had never been treated this way anywhere. Which of the two most unpleasant waiters.
Terrible service… Florence being one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

04/08/2024: Crowded restaurant, the waitress annoyed to serve us, took away our plate with the last bite still in her mouth probably to make us leave the table free. Good food but definitely not worth the price.
04/08/2024: i saw plenty of reviews highly recommending the cheesecake, they bounced right off me like superman. thankfully my girlfriend had the wherewithal to put us down for a serve of cheesecake. wow. you know the scene in ‘ratatouille’ when the little guy eats the cheese and the strawby and it goes all fireworks and such? it was like that. please, get the cheesecake, i implore you.
pizza was also awesome, we were super keen to try the tartufina, ostensibly their specialty, but honestly the margherita eclipsed it! just a classic style done impeccably. not to bash the tartufina, also delicious in its own right.
tiramisu also deserves an honourable mention, a scrumptious accompaniment to the aforementioned cheesecake.

06/07/2024: I was very pleased during my visit to the rooms, the atmosphere reminds you as if you are really in a medieval castle! The rooms are VERY comfortable and had the biggest bed I've ever seen in my life (extra super double) they could fit three people comfortably 🤣! Clean and well maintained with huge lot, trees, squirrels, endless parking! You just need a car because it's far from everything I think to move somewhere on foot. The breakfast ending did not impress me at all, it was very basic...
03/07/2024: It was a convent of Capuchin Friars, now renovated into a hotel-restaurant-swimming pool-bar. Wonderful place, with a wonderful view (you can see the dome of the Florence Cathedral). Pay attention to the last stretch of road to get there, especially if you have a family or large car. Huge car park... trained and efficient staff. Excellent experience.

27/04/2024: Unexpected gem tucked away in the neighborhood near the AC Marriott. We were tired of venturing out into the historic area and wanted to try something closer. The food was excellent and filled with locals. The best pasta I've had with terrific service. Would recommend!

16/07/2024: Cena estiva con amiche… Che dire… Abbiamo cenato all’Hamburderia e (oltre alla location fantastica ) mi devo complimentare con lo chef per i buonissimi piatti, e con la cameriera che credo si chiami Eva, per la sua disponibilità e gentilezza.
Ci è solo dispiaciuto perché abbiamo riconosciuto la direttrice della Palagina alla quale abbiamo sorriso senza nemmeno un ricambio. Comunque sicuramente ritorneremo.
11/07/2024: A wonderful place, the view is breathtaking, the staff is very kind with attention to detail, highly trained in organizing events. Elia was great at handling all our requests with a smile and friendliness. It has become one of our favorite places in Tuscany, we have already returned several times and continue to return!

01/07/2024: We picked up this restaurant for our wedding dinner. What they managed was amazing. We simply booked time. But what a suprrise was wating for us😍 Garden was decorated just for our group. Beautiful. And then food started. Simply amazing. Terresa and her staff made this evening unforgettable.

Il posto sistemato fino al ultimo dettaglio,ristorante,tavoli,apparecchiature,giardino,fiori…tutto.
Il mangiare SPETTACOLARE,non detto solo da me,ma dai miei 46 invitati…il nero di seppia,il polpo,il tartar di tonno,la millefoglie di branzino,la frittura,il pane fatto in casa,il arancio…ne parliamo della torta??!!!!!non solo era bellissima,era buonissima!!!!
Festa riuscita in tutto,e per fortuna anche il tempo ci ha accompagnato in modo di far splendere la location in tutto il suo splendore ,insomma…giornata da 10.🥰
Un ringraziamento speciale a Teresa e a tutta la sua famiglia che con tanto amore portano avanti questo posto favoloso facendo sentire il calore e la passione per questo mestiere,e fanno diventare Le grotte d’ Arno un oasi perfetto.
