15/05/2025: ZEROCALCARE signing sessions. He and the publisher Bao are very nice and punctual. Only one star instead for the organization of the event by the bookstore. Divided into 3 steps: drawing 15.00-18.00, 18.00-19.00 talk, 19.30-24.00 signing session. I leave home at 6.50, train and off I go, I arrive at 7.40 and I am 63rd in line (a gentleman contacted us 3 times), opening at 9 and delivery of the passes (bracelets) with a number written on them. They say that for the 1st step there are only 75 passes, I'll go back!! but when it's my turn they're already sold out 🤔 (I'm 15 and I'm ashamed to do myself justice), I'm the 6th excluded so I have to settle for the signing session. I feel bad😩, I get angry😡, I repress it thinking that the important thing will be to meet him. I enter school in 3rd period, I go out, I eat a sandwich on the fly and at 2pm I get back in line outside the library for the 6pm talk. At 4pm everyone stands, otherwise "we'll take up too much space" says one of the security guards. Finally I go in and enjoy the chat. They say NOW EVERYONE OUT AND WHO HAS A PASS FOR THE FIRMADILLO GET IN LINE FOR THE TIME GROUPS WRITTEN ON THE BRACELET. I go out, convinced that I will return almost immediately since I am number 6 in the first group, and here is another injustice, the line (60 people per hour) has already formed while the talk was taking place, I am second to last... My mother has joined me, worried about the time of returning to the train, she argues with the 2 security "gorillas" who do not enforce the order of the numbers assigned in the morning, the response of one of them is I DON'T CARE AT ALL ABOUT THE NUMBER. I am back inside to meet him, finally, even if I am the last one in the third time I have been in line since this morning. I look at the time and if everything goes well we will be able to take the 9.14 train and return home by 10pm... the director of the bookstore arrives and takes me by the hand and makes me climb among the first, perhaps she has understood that something has gone wrong? I thank her, but this is just not right, 3 times in line despite the numbered bracelet. What should be security, of indecent rudeness. I arrive home at 9 pm, very tired but still happy. Because to get justice you have to raise your voice, why?

20/05/2025: As an italian, the food was awful and unflavoured (even the fish wasn’t that fresh as they say). The service was good i guess, but the worst part was a damn COCKROACH that was peacefully climbing on a wall, apparently no one noticed it.
19/05/2025: Abfertigung wie am Fließband, super ungemütlich und hektisch und die Chefin (?) rennt herum wie ein aufgescheuchtes Huhn. Die Kellner waren aber alle sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr enttäuschend.

02/05/2025: Esperienza da dimenticare, luogo decantato come uno fra i migliori per gustare il pesce, pesce piuttosto dozzinale nei sapori, abbiamo preso un crudo non all'altezza se non nel prezzo! Un insalata di mare tiepida, dove c'era tanto sedano e pochissimo pesce, due porzioni di ravioli funghi tartufo e capesante, che di fatto erano un miscuglio di sapori, da rendere irriconoscibile il piatto, un calice di vino, mia moglie e astemia, servito in maniera scortese e scocciata, da un cameriere, forse titolare poco simpatico. L'abbiamo presa sul ridere e ci siamo alzati dopo aver finito senza prendere nemmeno il caffè. Servizio da lasciare perdere lento nel fare uscire i piatti, veloce nel farti lasciare il tavolo. Ambiente poco accogliente per la spocchia del personale. Adios
11/04/2025: Nice renovated place but I have to say that I remembered this very different famous restaurant a few years ago. The cuisine has changed, the fish is fresh but no longer cooked the old way and less abundant. I had ordered an island-style monkfish and after half an hour of waiting it arrived rare! I sent it back, the waitress apologized and offered me a quick mixed fry, and I had to accept, but I didn't go to eat that! Very long waits where we filled ourselves with good bread, yes but not good... I got the ravioli filled with fish which was good but the pasta was borderline raw. A quarter of a glass of wine is 7.50 and oh well... you know, fish dinners are expensive, but what was missing was the classic simple flavor of intense fish which I didn't taste because it was mixed with too many ingredients. Too bad I had other memories but maybe they were another management....

11/05/2025: Typical restaurant environment, not very large, with the possibility of an external gazebo, a spartan environment with furnishings that immediately attract. Menu with typical and traditional dishes, owner very attentive and available for any request or doubt, ready to explain the dishes (we also had a celiac with us). The 3 of us had dinner, spoiled for choice, because the names already promised well, we exchanged courses a bit. All excellent, delicious, plentiful, well cooked, excellent balance of spices and aromas without covering the flavours. The dishes at the nearby tables were also excellently presented. The desserts and house wine are also good. The waiters were also kind. A must stop without a doubt. Affordable prices. Advised

27/05/2025: My experience can be summed up in two and a half words: Pici all'aglione. Then you can choose between excellent appetizers, delicious steaks or mixed roasts of various sizes. The Pici, however, are a must in this restaurant with a beautiful panoramic terrace and, it never goes wrong, with very kind staff. The prices are average. See you soon then.
25/05/2025: Large dishes, I took spaghetti with clams, good, basic service, the place could be refreshed but I think it fits the bill like this, dry but well-made menu, very honest prices. We can return here in a big way, ok for a work lunch break but also for other things. Pleasant outdoor space.

22/05/2025: We stopped by chance while visiting the town. The service was excellent, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The pici all’aglione and the pici “casa tua” were spectacular, an explosion of flavor that took me back to my childhood. Very characteristic place. Perfect for those looking for an authentic experience! Highly recommended. If we come back here we will definitely stop again!

05/06/2025: Terrible. The calzone was RAW and the mozzarella was still in cubes on the inside because it hadn’t been cooked. The salami was cold. We thought it was stretchy cheese as first then realised it was literal raw pizza dough covering the top of the calzone. I’ve never been to a pizza place so bad that they serve raw dough. So gross. We also ordered a pizza which had very little flavor and was nothing special. This place is definitely hyped up by social media and there are much much better places to go for pizza.
05/06/2025: There will be a queue at meal time, and the wait lasted about 30 minutes. You need to wait until all the people are present before you can sit down. The taste is good, but it doesn't seem worth queuing for so long.

MENU voto 6: la cucina è più per gli stranieri e i piatti non soddisfanno le aspettative del posto. Come alternativa vegetariana ci sono state servite delle penne al pomodoro completamente scotte. SERVIZIO voto 7: più lenti che veloci. Personale gentile. CONTO voto 5: per i piatti proposti i prezzi sono alti.
20/09/2024: The setting is incredible—a very short drive from Firenze and feels like another world entirely. The service was impeccable and the food was the best we’ve had on our vacation. This is everything I was hoping for and more—a perfect night.

16/05/2025: Typical pizzeria, nice atmosphere and very good pizzas.
05/05/2025: The pizza is nothing special, but maybe we are just spoiled from other pizza experiences in Italy. The crust is very dry and brittle, there is far too much cheese and not a lot of sauce. The mushrooms were from a can and the pizza advertised with “hot peppers” is just sprinkled with spicy powder. Also, the draft Coca-Cola was very flat. Personally, we enjoy pizza with fresh ingredients and a more authentic, chewy crust. The service was nice enough, as they could tell we didn’t love the pizza and asked if everything was ok. I have an extra star for that, as they seemed to care that we were not very satisfied. They also sat us without a reservation which was very nice of them. The lack of stars is really for the quality of the pizza.

07/05/2025: Super friendly service by Luis !!!! Thanks also to the chef Pepe, we really had a delicious meal for a good price. Moreover, it is an atmospheric restaurant with exactly the right music in the background. With that is was a nice ambiance. Nice effect by all the mirrors, also in the toilet we looked our eyes out. Thanks for the unforgettable evening.
