We had dinner for two last night. We found the place on Maps since we were in Florence on vacation and trusted the reviews. We can only confirm and give 5 stars to everything: appetizers, first and second courses, and a bottle of wine. Excellent value. It was an experience that left us enthusiastic. We got the recommendation from locals and the restaurant is really good. The steak was one of the best, the service is just good. We were there on a week day and it wasn't too busy. Highly recommended.

Wonderful trattoria with fantastic food; we celebrated a 60th birthday there and had a great time. Very friendly staff; we were even allowed to stay longer than permitted – a delightful evening.

One of our historic trattorias, many memories tie me to this place, Donnini means family, it means taking a dip into memories, Sunday lunches with the whole family were a classic.

Highly recommended if you're visiting SOUTH FLORENCE, it's a must-visit. Everything is delicious, the meat melts like butter. The owner is friendly, the waitress is very classy. We'll be back.

I stopped in for lunch after not being there for several years. The place is nice and the service is adequate. The first course was good, but the fried food was absolutely disappointing. The chicken was raw and the whole thing lacked flavor, while the bill was quite high. I don't think we'll see each other again.

An excellent restaurant/trattoria. They serve excellent traditional dishes and a great selection of wines. The rooms are welcoming and exude a Tuscan atmosphere, both in the atmosphere and the smell. Highly recommended.

09/03/2026: A starred restaurant in both aspects, they make you feel pampered and delighted in an elegant atmosphere. The chef is top-notch, a well-deserved star. Tagliolino with smoked butter, something otherworldly! In addition to the special treatment... we were there on Saturday and will definitely repeat the experience. Thanks again.
