Osteria Pastella In Firenze

Visit after reservation. All staff are friendly. The wine was recommended very thoroughly, and the starter, octopus dish, and truffle pasta were all really delicious.

Phenomenal food. Was unable to get a reservation but they do welcome walk ins, but there is a wait. The staff was very friendly and helped create a great experience. We enjoyed the cheese wheel truffle pasta and beef laid atop of mashed potatoes topped with truffle sauce, so good!!!

The food was very delicious. I ordered truffle pasta, lemon-flavored pasta, and lasagna, and I liked the performance of cooking the pasta in a cheese bowl. However, a female server who was a bit short and had a tattoo on her elbow made the mistake of spilling the wine on the leather jacket of a member of the group while serving, and an apology for this was not enough. Of course, people can make mistakes, but wouldn't it be polite to properly apologize for them? I even spilled it on my jacket, which I had to wear during the trip, and it still smelled like alcohol... And I was so angry that after I made a mistake, I was whispering to another server right across from me and splitting them while looking in my direction. Thanks to you, I had to eat in a bad mood and I'm so angry that we had to pay to be treated like this. I was so angry that I was going to say something, but I held back because I was afraid it would only ruin the mood of our trip. The food is delicious.

Thankfully we made reservations and were seated in no time. The truffle pasta was amazing but we did not enjoy the lasagne as much. The appetizers, Prosecco and limoncello offered were good too!

We went to see it because it is highly recommended and worth the fame. We ate the famous truffled macaroni made on a cheese wheel and it was divine, unbeatable. They also did a great job with the desserts. As it is a unique and very popular environment, it is a little noisy and congested in service. It's also more expensive than most places in Florence; The pasta alone was almost 30 euros.

It was ok/good, there are a lot of other BETTER places in Firenze, MUCH better. This place is very touristy and such they treat you. The only Italian person I saw working was the person who cash us out. Price is good. Don’t get me wrong is not awful but do not follow the social media all the time if you want 100% authentic food.

We had a delicious dinner, the pasta is made fresh from scratch, we ordered a pasta that was prepared in front of us made inside a cheese wheel, it was super delicious!
