Delicious food, impeccable service, and Olga Polizzi’s beautiful interiors. I wasn’t staying at the Savoy on this visit to Florence, so I decided to have lunch at Irene to enjoy some of the hotel’s incredibly lovely ambiance. I enjoyed eggs with white truffle from a seasonal menu, the turbot, and a tiramisu (large enough for 2 to share). Lunch was wonderful and made me wish I had stayed at the Savoy. I reserved easily, directly from google maps.

Irene is a tasteful, comfortable and accommodating – if expensive – restaurant in an excellent location in Florence directly on Piazza della Repubblica within Rocco Forte's Hotel Savoy. The food, wines and ingredients are all carefully considered and thoughtful to seasonality and freshness. The accompanying service and overall experience are first-rate. After a recent renovation, the space looks particularly beautiful.

02/05/2026: We often go for breakfast; both the sweet and savory options are delicious. We must try the restaurant, recommended by friends. Open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for dinner. Excellent service.
