27/05/2025: I didn't like it at all. It was very expensive and poor, especially in terms of quality. The waitress, who speaks Spanish, was very friendly.

26/05/2025: Last Saturday evening I wanted to try the renowned Ristorante da Giorgio, which I have never tried before despite having lived in Viareggio for a few years. That evening, despite having booked, I was not feeling well and did not have much of an appetite. My partner and I decided not to order wine to drink (which we practically always do because we are both teetotalers). Both at the table, the waitress and at the cash register, the owner, made us feel bad about the fact that we had not ordered anything to drink other than simple still water (0.65 cl) for a whopping €8, as can be seen from the receipt. Despite the dinner being very light, with just one appetizer, two first courses, a dessert and a piece of fruit, we spent a whopping €50.50 each (yes, because discounting that euro on the receipt and making the calculation even would have turned the evening's takings into the red, who knows). Cover charge €10 for dry bread from at least the day before and a narrow table where if I moved slightly with my chair I would hit the chair at the table behind me.. In short, I don't want to honestly say that the fish wasn't fresh and/or of good quality at all but the prices are absolutely disproportionate and not justified. The icing on the cake is that an acquaintance who went to dinner this evening at the same restaurant for an appetizer, first course, second course, dessert and even a passito paid €50... so the question is this: does the owner set prices based on the mood, the day or the friendliness of the diner? If it was a way to make us understand not to return, we will certainly accept the invitation!

15/06/2025: We went to this bar with my family to get something simple: 2 red aperitifs and a coffee. When the bill arrived: 18 euros❗ But what is it❓ A robbery❓ Prices completely out of market for a minimal service. No explanation, no visible price list. Really disappointing experience.

17/06/2025: We were on holiday in Florence and one of the places that we carry with us is definitely this restaurant/pizzeria. Everything was delicious, top quality ingredients and above all a welcoming environment, we felt at home! If you haven't tried the fried pizza bites with Nutella and powdered sugar yet, do it as soon as possible! Highly recommended

21/05/2025: The pizza crust is airy and light and delicious. Cooked perfectly. And you must try the octopus on rocket salad. Best pizza we’ve had in Florence.

10/05/2025: We hadden enorm zin in lekker eten. 4.3 is best een goede score. Dus wij er heen. De plek was niet gezellig. WC was niet schoon wat je wel verwacht van een goed restaurant en toen dacht ik al hoe wordt dan het eten. Eten was erg matig. Voor ons geen 2de keer.

02/05/2025: Het restaurant ligt buiten de grote toeristische zone, wat ook onze voorkeur draagt omdat de prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding beter is. Dit restaurant bewijst het. We leerden hier ook een ander type pasta kennen. Pici- pasta is echt een aanrader.

21/05/2025: Borgo Pignano è un vero e proprio paradiso e il suo ristorante è davvero la ciliegina sulla torta! Un ristorante in una location unica ed esclusiva, un panorama mozzafiato, siamo stati accolti con grande professionalità dallo Chef e dal personale di sala, il livello è davvero alto. Menù di alta qualità e piatti ben serviti. Una gran bella esperienza da ripetere assolutamente Complimenti a tutto lo staff di cucina e sala

05/05/2025: We were passing through Volterra and San Gimignano, excellent location, with panoramic views. Excellent food, super recommended Pici cacio e pepe with truffle. The owners are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend anyone who has the opportunity to stop by!

31/05/2025: Amazing location, super friendly staff and Marco is a fantastic cook. Worth a small detour from the via degli Dei and take a rest day by the lovely pool if you have time. There's a fishing lake down the hill you can catch trout for lunch at!

04/05/2025: We stayed here during the Via degli Dei, and had a really great time! I think our best stop, rustic rooms are very quiet. The surrounding environment is very beautiful and also the swimming pool and the rest. 31/05/2025: I've been passing through Livorno for years and every time I told my husband that I wanted to go to this restaurant... But who made me do it, I chose a seafood appetizer, I wish I had never done it, the mussels were cold, not fresh, old and they added the sauce after pouring the mussels into the bowl The bread was minimal, just 2 pieces and two packs of breadsticks The dirty bathroom, the girl who was kind and the dessert are the only exception, that's why the two stars....the rest was not what I expected I'd rather have a sandwich at the kiosk but never again from them.....

31/05/2025: Forza ragazzi vi ho conosciuto per caso e credete che è stata una bellissima sorpresa….. Osteria carina ….servizio ottimo… qualità del cibo ottima…… Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Torneremo a breve……

For more than 10 years, during which we have been visiting this restaurant when coming to Tuscany, the quality of the food has always been at its best. Great service. Friendly staff. The most friendly prices.

15/06/2025: Eravamo un grande tavolo di circa 13/14 persone. Abbiamo cercato di ordinare tutti lo stesso piatto per semplificare il lavoro. Risultato? Un primo alle arselle con presenza di pietre nel piatto, la grigliata per fortuna era discreta. Porzioni a mio avviso insufficienti considerando il numero di persone. Infine conto molto salato. Sicuramente non tonero' piu'.

26/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati qui a pranzare prima della gara 100 km del passatore. Il personale è stato molto cordiale e disponibile mi hanno fatto una pasta al pomodoro fantastica. Non mi è mai capitato di trovarmi in una città così affollata di turisti e essere trattata come un cliente abituale . Complimenti davvero
