23/09/2025: Enchanting place, the covered terrace is wonderful, the service is prompt, and the staff are welcoming. We went on a Tuesday in September without a reservation. As for the pizza, what can I say? It was a taste bud experience 🤩.

02/10/2025: Discovered it by chance and had lunch there every day of the holiday. Pets are welcome and they immediately brought a bowl of water for the pine cone without me asking. Typical Tuscan menu with generous and delicious portions. Friendly staff, highly recommended, fair price.

19/09/2025: Beat pizza I have had so far on my holiday in Italy. It was very delicious and the prices are very reasonable. My wife had a carbonara pasta and that too was excellent. Thanks to the lady running the store, she was very friendly and helpful and spoke to us in English. Highly recommend

28/09/2025: Restaurant in a beautiful square in Lucca, beautiful location and excellent hospitality, simple but essential table setting. We opted for the Classic menu: liver pâté with brioche bread, parmesan risotto with Chianti reduction, veal cheek with mashed potatoes, and finally an excellent dessert. Everything was excellent, all accompanied by a bottle of champagne, good value for money. I recommend it.

18/10/2025: I was not at all satisfied with this ice cream shop. As soon as I entered, I was met by two servers—probably a mother and daughter—looking bored, unsmiling, and clearly uninterested. This alone shows that professionalism is lacking. My experience was negative from the start: the lady took the cone with her bare hands, the same ones she had just used to give change to another customer. She didn't just touch it, she actually handled it thoroughly. Then, only afterward, she took a small protective paper cone and put inside what she had already touched with her bare hands. The paradox is that that paper cone exists precisely to prevent the cone from being touched: doing so afterward makes no sense and completely defeats its hygienic function. I ordered dark chocolate ice cream, another disappointment: the color was too light, like hazelnut, and the flavor was flat, more like milk chocolate. The texture was also wrong, not creamy and lacking in character. Unfortunately, after eating it (and not having touched food all day), I felt severe intestinal discomfort in the hours that followed. I don't blame anyone, but it's hard not to connect the two, considering what I saw behind the counter. A disappointing and unreassuring experience. Definitely a place I'll never return to.

21/09/2025: I won't say how much I spent in total, because I've eaten that amount elsewhere and left satisfied with what I ate. Paying €40 for two risottos where you had to search for the rice grains hidden between a mussel, two shrimp, and four clams seems excessive to me. When you then realize the portion at the next table is larger, you feel cheated. Likewise, €30 for a fried dish that also included cheap vegetables and sardines, considered a low-cost fish, seems excessive. And finally, when I came to pay, I was told they even gave me a discount because they made me wait. I was even too kind to give it two stars.

31/08/2025: An elegant restaurant in Portoferraio's historic center, complete with a summer terrace. The tuna tartare, the pecorino paccheri with mussels, and the brandy-infused prawns are excellent. The deconstructed millefeuille is a must-try. Friendly and fast service, reasonable prices. Recommended!

The food is delicious, and their signature dish is mushrooms, cooked or prepared in a variety of ways. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and the location. Highly recommended! 22/09/2025: A terrible experience, one I absolutely must not repeat. As soon as we arrived, we were seated at a table next to a door through which cold air and a constant, annoying draft blew in, with waiters constantly passing by just inches away, carrying dishes. I reported the problem, but instead of finding a solution or even acting helpful, the owner was rude and extremely impolite. Not only did she show no interest in improving the situation, but we were practically asked to leave because they had other people to seat. This was shameful treatment that showed a complete lack of respect for customers. There are so many restaurants out there; it makes no sense to waste time and money in a place that doesn't know how to welcome or treat those who come through the door. Typical behavior of someone who doesn't need anything and makes their fortune out of a total disregard for customer service! No stars for this place.

10/10/2025: I go there regularly, I say I'm going to try another restaurant and then, no matter what, I decide to always return. The view is magnificent, the dishes are all delicious, without exception, the staff are kind and knowledgeable, and the Taranto cuisine is fabulous.
