09/06/2025: I wanted to tell you about a terrible evening. Greeted badly and forgotten in a corner. 30 minutes of waiting to have the menu to consult. Terrible service. Then, when the food arrived I had to reevaluate everything. Wonderful food. I also reevaluated the service since there were 2 buses of kids. A bad evening can happen, but for the food they were really good. Congratulations.

24/05/2025: Terrible. After 40 minutes our order was taken (cheese appetizer arrived after another 15 minutes). After another 15 minutes the "BIGI DI CARMIGNANO" arrived which we sent back because they were raw. When they brought them back the result did not change much. I specify that we had also asked for the CAPPELLACCI DELLA GRANDMA. At the beginning of the evening we were told that they were finished. In essence it is absolutely not to be recommended. I will definitely not return. It's a shame because the atmosphere is not bad.

30/05/2025: Highly recommended, a cute little pizzeria with very reasonable prices! Delicious and friendly, fast service! Oh yes: the restroom will delight any cyclist... ;-) Conclusion: We really enjoyed it and will probably use it again for our final dinner on a future visit to Volterra!

30/05/2025: Fantastic view and delicious meat at Manero! I always come here when I want to treat myself to a typical dinner, enjoying the breathtaking view of the valley that characterizes the place. Recommended for a special lunch or dinner! I obviously recommend booking and asking for a seat near the window!

08/06/2025: A beautiful surprise! We came in for a coffee and, even though we were not guests of the hotel, they welcomed us kindly and offered us coffee as a gesture of the house. A quiet place, with a wonderful view and a really kind staff. Thank you so much for the hospitality! We will definitely be back.

26/05/2025: The location is very very beautiful, unfortunately having called 1 day before we managed to find a place but unfortunately not outside. Quality ingredients and really good. The pizza was good, if I have to make some clarifications I would say that in my opinion the artichoke did not feel the presence and taste of artichokes so even though it was good it was a bit unknown. The Campagna Viva was my favorite, very good but even here if I have to make a clarification the nduja could not be felt at all and it almost seemed like just tomato drops. The Norma was good, I asked the waitress if I could do half without the grated sheep cheese at the end and she said no.. it did not seem very elegant or an impossible request. Another clarification as soon as we finished dinner the waiters came IMMEDIATELY after 1 minute to take away our plates. I do not think it is seen well by the customer because it sends the message of "wanting to get him up from the table immediately". Overall a very quiet place and it was a pleasant evening!

21/06/2025: Shame about the service, we had booked a table on the sea side of the veranda but then on the spot it wasn't what they had told us on the phone. Which is not a nice way to start the evening, the service is a bit confusing and the wait for the dishes is a bit long especially among the diners, you can't eat the dish alone for fear that it will get cold. The food is all in all sufficient. The location is very nice in front of the sea with the recently renovated terrace. The price is a bit high for the quality and service.

30/05/2025: THIEVES, DISHONEST, STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! They stole our belongings and refused to compensate when confronted. They sold the stolen belongings for profit, to compensate on their bad margins. I hope you default and shut down your dishonest business.

11/04/2025: Nice staff and location. The pool it is also nice and has a beautiful view. They gave us a red wine botle from their side (2015 year was very good).

10/06/2025: Family-run place, you feel at home. Excellent experience with quality products, great courtesy of the owners, excellent service. Excellent pizza too. I will gladly return to taste other products. Beautiful view of the Garfagnana.

04/06/2025: Siamo capitati per caso a pranzo visitando scansano, la pozione è spettacolare, terrazza al fresco e in ombra, personale preparato attento e accogliente! Cibo ( fiorentina) ottimo! Buon rapporto qualità prezzo!

21/05/2025: The truffle pasta wasn't good, the TV was on full blast, and the place felt uncomfortably crowded. The sausage machine needs cleaning. The server was nice, and the food came quickly. The cellar has potential.

10/05/2025: BOUNCE LUGGAGE VERO BISTRO *DONT USE*! Luggage returned SOAKED! Wheeled to us leaving a trail of water on the floor. Nothing said until we questioned… Their response, ‘cellar is wet, maybe mop’ smiling. No offer to help dry or process refund, disgusting. Left with soaked clothes and bag to deal with. Regret using this place!

09/05/2025: Nos encantó!!!!! TODO. La atención de lujo. Tan buena predisposición. Las pastas increíbles !! El sabor y la presentación de los platos. Se nota el amor por la cocina y el buen sabor. 10/06/2025: Came to the restaurant for a spot of lunch before I took a day trip to lucca, took a seat in the patio area and the service was prompt and my order was taking quickly. That's where things changed. As I waited for over 50 minutes for my order, other tables were seated, and watched as they were handed various breads to eat and I was left unattended. This was most likely due to the fact i was visiting alone.

10/05/2025: We were turned away by the unfriendly owner with a short "no" after we entered the restaurant at 8 p.m.

07/05/2025: Che dire ... il posto non è molto accogliente, un po' lugubre, con due lucette alle pareti; in effetti il proprietario e il cameriere, sembrerebbero coetanei, sugli ottanta, non sono il massimo dell'accoglienza. Ordiniamo un antipasto di salumi "insoliti", cervo, cinghiale e anatra, 3 fettine di ognuno, piatto unico x 2, con un carciofo sott'olio nel mezzo, buono, costo 40 euro ! poi due filetti alla griglia, piuttosto freddi, niente di esaltante, associati a due patate affettate e messe sulla griglia, (70 euro), due dessert. Totale 160 euro. Forse è l'ora che i due "simpatici" vecchietti cedano la mano ....
