12/03/2025: Kind and competent staff, excellent short supply chain and organic products, it is also possible to taste them directly in the shop. A real treat is the aperitif with platter enjoyed on the terrace with a breathtaking panoramic view, all prepared by Fiorella.

15/10/2025: Excellent experience here. Food was excellent and the service was above and beyond from Aldo, Ambra, and Maicol. Had great conversation with them and made some great friends! Also did a cooking class while at the resort - was a once in a lifetime experience with Carmelo and Ambra. Absolutely recommend!

03/10/2025: Very Disappointing Experience rarely leave negative reviews, but this visit was too frustrating to ignore. The service was incredibly slow — despite the restaurant not being very busy. When the food finally arrived, it was cold. To make matters worse, the staff seemed disorganized and inattentive. They serve us with the wrong plate. For the price they charge, I expected much better. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

09/08/2025: The place is nice, but there's no advertised view, absolutely not. Perhaps only from one table can you glimpse something with binoculars... Around the tables outside, there's only scrub, bushes, and very tall grass that hasn't been cut in years; that's the view you'll have. On the other side, you'll have the road. The menu is extremely limited, with little choice among fairly banal dishes on a menu that's tourist-friendly and lacks any bells and whistles, even if they're adequately prepared by the chefs. Family-style service. Reasonable prices. The idea of blankets available for those eating outside to protect themselves from the chill is a nice one, but if you go in the summer, bring a jacket anyway.

22/10/2025: This restaurant was full of locals & for a reason. Good wholesome Home cooked style meals. We had lunch here & had a green salad, bocconcini and 2 hot traditional soups. The soup was so hearty, flavourful and filling that we left completely full and satisfied! The gentlemen who served us were all wonderful. We had vino which was great too. Located on a beautiful street between the castle & the church, wine shops & stores.

31/08/2025: A sure thing if you want a good Neapolitan pizza. It's a shame, though, that over the years this place has gone downhill: management, wait times, and wait staff (who took orders without pen and paper and obviously got our order wrong). We ordered two pizzas and two croquettes for an appetizer. After 30 minutes, my pizza arrived, and after another 10, my partner's (let me start by saying the place was half-empty). The croquettes were brought to us only after I urged the waitress, and what's more, one piece was missing. When it came time for the bill, partly to make up for the various oversights, we were offered a limoncello that had never even seen a lemon tree from afar. Honestly, when Roberto or Raffaele were running the place, these things never happened, and so I think that after 10 years as your customer, the time has come for a change... what a shame.

21/08/2025: Nice place inside. Very friendly waitresses. The free appetizer is delicious! They have pizzas with whole wheat dough or with ancient seeds, gluten-free, and multi-grain gluten-free options for an additional €2. Vegan and lactose-free mozzarella is also available for an additional €2. A place open to all needs and tastes!

21/09/2025: Excellent restaurant, truly courteous service, ready to accommodate any request, the fish is very fresh, and the desserts are extraordinary. The price is also very good. I haven't tried the pizza, but the food is amazing. The owners are very attentive and friendly. Definitely worth a try.

10/09/2025: I've never seen fresher fish anywhere. The wine list is outstanding. I've been to many restaurants in my life. We've been vacationing in this area for four years and each time we consider going here only twice a week. We can't manage it because this restaurant is open for lunch and dinner all year round. This is no understatement: it's the best restaurant in the world.

28/09/2025: Unfortunately, I can't highly recommend this restaurant. I had what was probably the worst carbonara of my life here. It tasted like plain pasta with egg, and the ham was cheap and absolutely disgusting. The service was okay, but not outstanding.

21/09/2025: About a 40-minute drive from Florence, via Bagno a Ripoli, San Donato in Collina, Torri di Rignano sull'Arno. Beautiful countryside, still summery sunshine, magnificent light, hills covered in olive groves, vineyards laden with grapes ready for an exceptional vintage, clear roads, relaxing views. Pampurio is essentially a grocery store, but also a trattoria-restaurant open for lunch. Closed on Tuesdays. Tuscan cuisine, with some pleasant variations, well-presented menu. Prices are more than reasonable (the steak, for example, is €40/kg), the atmosphere is usually crowded, perhaps not a declaration of love (but that's not necessarily the case); fast service, half portions are available (full portions are more than generous). Easy-to-digest food (a not insignificant plus), and allergy-friendly (please declare). Reservations are recommended on Saturdays and Sundays. --- If you want to take some time to digest, and if it's a Saturday with no traffic, head towards Troghi and Figline Valdarno, returning to Florence via San Polo in Chianti or Greve. A relaxing drive through green villages and towns, perhaps even stopping for a stroll in search of porcini mushrooms, up towards the first chestnut woods—350 meters above sea level—now, as they say in the local dialect, the "second batch" should already be underway even at these latitudes (to enjoy the view of the cyclamen, however, you'll have to wait a little longer). NB: The photo of the porcini mushrooms shown here is indicative: these were found by my friend Sergio, an 85-year-old mushroom hunter from Upper Lake Como, in the Pianello area and the surrounding mountains.

20/10/2025: Relaxed fine dining with a view. Super friendly service. Lasting memories. Such delightful hospitality! Delicious food, great wines and outstanding service. This relaxed gastronomic restaurant is a true gem. We had a wonderful dinner on the terrace with a splendid view over the valley on an August evening with our two sons. Do enter the historic cloister building: the restaurant is in the back of it, making its terrace a secluded, peaceful oasis. The sommelier will be happy to share his love and deep knowledge of Tuscan wines. He made us discover beautiful local wines. The gourmet cuisine serves excellent food with lots of respect for local produce. The place is relaxed, refined and authentic. The staff is the cherry on the cake: so genuinely friendly and professional! We very much appreciated the very personal service. We will return here whenever we are in the region.

20/08/2025: I've been going there for a long time over the years, and it's always a pleasure to see Mr. Luciano welcoming you with warmth and friendliness. The food is always excellent, the service is quick but not rushed, and the atmosphere is relaxing, almost like being at home. The location on the seafront is also excellent. It's a place I'm fond of and would recommend to anyone in the area—it's worth it!
