23/03/2025: Good restaurant in the center and excellent option for dinner before a show at the nearby Goldoni theater. Quick service, good cuisine mainly based on grilled meat. Prices are normal and perhaps a little more popular. All in all a nice environment.

19/03/2025: We went to this restaurant in Livorno a few weeks ago with my family, exquisite food, the waitress (I think her name was Lisa) was the icing on the cake for hospitality and service. Must try and return!!

11/03/2025: Vorrei fare una premessa, sono un manager nel settore alberghiero ed ero in giro con un'amico chef di lunga esperienza. Galeotto" fu il GPS che finito offline ci ha portato a Brenna anziché ad Orgia, piccoli borghi confinanti uno con l'altro. Così siamo capitati in questo locale che anche da chiuso, col portone in legno, le tendine di cotone alle finestre ed una lavagna come insegna ci ha lasciato il desiderio di tornare. Infatti dopo alcuni si decide di provarlo. Già all'entrata si percepisce da subito pulizia ed un'amalgama di colori che trasmettono una piacevole sensazione di benessere. Veniamo accolti con un bel sorriso da Federica che conosceremo poi essere la proprietaria. Ed anche lo Chef Mauro, suo Marito. Ambedue appassionati del loro lavoro, con la "mission" di enfatizzare le tradizioni del territorio con un tocco personale di rivisitazione. Sia riguardo le proposte culinarie che la selezione dei prodotti....si riscontra ricercatezza, nulla sembra lasciato alla casualità. Anche Federica collabora in cucina soprattutto nella pasticceria...che bontà! Per dare una scelta completa, hanno anche organizzato una proposta pizza, naturalmente con forno a legna ed un "titolato" maestro pizzaiolo. Per me è spontaneamente diventato un riferimento di zona..... consigliatissimo!!

11/03/2025: I would like to make a premise, I am a manager in the hotel sector and I was out with a long-experienced chef friend. Galeotto" was the GPS that went offline and took us to Brenna instead of Orgia, small villages bordering each other. So we came across this place which, even when closed, with its wooden door, cotton curtains on the windows and a blackboard as a sign, left us with the desire to return. In fact, after a few minutes you decide to try it. Upon entering, you immediately perceive cleanliness and an amalgam of colors that convey a pleasant sensation of well-being. We are welcomed with a beautiful smile by Federica who we later learn is the owner. And also Chef Mauro, her husband. Both passionate about their work, with the "mission" of emphasizing the traditions of the territory with a personal touch of revisitation. Both regarding the culinary proposals and the selection of products... there is refinement, nothing seems left to chance. Federica also collaborates in the kitchen, especially in the pastry shop... how delicious! To give a complete choice, they have also organized a pizza proposal, naturally with a wood-fired oven and a "titled" master pizza chef. For me it has spontaneously become a reference in the area..... highly recommended!!

30/03/2025: A little too vintage for our tastes. Too strange to have a sink in the room 🤣 and the shared bathroom, although clean, is a little unhygienic for many rooms. And then an extra bunk bed catches the eye when you ask for a double bed.

10/04/2025: Warm and accomodating hosts. We had turned up almost near closing hours and requested for some take away food..pizzas and pastas. They were gracious enough to get the chefs out and check if the dishes we wanted could be made. And so we had fresh pastas and pizzas soon enough. Parking available nearby. Easy on the wallet as well.

18/04/2025: Cheap carbonara, uncooked risotto and a sad gnocchi, to pushing waitresses, the food came at different times, 0/10 experience, never go here

18/04/2025: I think La Madia is one of the best restaurants in Firenze. I experienced an excellent dinner with super good dishes and kind manners of the staff. It is strongly recommended to enjoy this restaurant.

23/03/2025: The restaurant is housed in a historic building with an appropriate ambience. Very stylishly furnished and the staff is very friendly and helpful with language problems. We ate a full menu with starters, main course, dessert, red wine and espresso. We would be happy to come back because it was very tasty and well prepared.

12/04/2025: Second time going - food was fabulous! Staff were friendly and wonderful. Space got a little too warm for me towards the end of the night. Would definitely go back.

04/04/2025: I waited for a reservation, but when I got there, there wasn't a single person there so I sat by the window and the view was the best even during the day. Perhaps because we were the only ones there, they treated us kindly and the food was very delicious. In particular, the wine you recommended went so well with the food that I even took a picture of it!

28/01/2025: A welcoming and very well furnished restaurant, in the cellars of an ancient building. Outdoor table for the summer. A bar for cocktails at the entrance. Unexpectedly the menu is mainly based on fish, despite being on the hills that separate Chianti and Valdarno. Very fresh and excellent quality raw materials. Well prepared and presented dishes. Very professional and courteous service. Complete and detailed wine list. Average high price.

09/04/2025: Very good pizza and cecina, one of the best in Viareggio. For some it may be a little greasy but it is traditionally made that way. It also does restaurant service. Good food, narrow place and in need of renovation. Excellent for takeaway.

05/03/2025: Siamo venuti a cena per il nostro anniversario e siamo rimasti colpiti dalla gentilezza e cura con cui tutto il personale ti accoglie. Il locale è ben curato, intimo e caloroso, la cucina stupisce con la semplicità degli ingredienti sapientemente cucinati. E Katia (Spero di aver scritto bene il tuo nome) la cameriera che ci ha seguiti, è stata incredibile. Vi ringrazio ancora tutti per la serata che ci avete regalato, bravissimi!

07/04/2025: Simple, delicious pizza place. In my opinion, so worth the 1 hour long wait time (warning) if you’re willing to wait, go here!! I got 2 pizzas to try, one white and one not. Both were great! I would recommend the burrata on top of your pizza, adds that extra creaminess

24/03/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant and the experience was exceptional. The restaurant is located in Piazza Nannini 2, in Loro Ciuffenna, offers a refined and characteristic environment that combines tradition and modernity. The menu offers dishes prepared with care and attention, with vegetarian options and even pizzas for those wanting something more frugal. The dishes on the new menu really amazed us, well done. The staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wishes to enjoy Italian cuisine in a charming and welcoming environment. . . We will definitely return, as we have done for years.

17/03/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato in questa splendida struttura e non possiamo che lasciare una recensione più che positiva. Fin dal nostro arrivo, siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza e disponibilità da tutto lo staff, che ha reso il nostro soggiorno davvero speciale. La nostra camera era recentemente ristrutturata, curata nei dettagli e dotata di un comfort che non si trova ovunque: il topper sopra al materasso ha fatto davvero la differenza, garantendoci un riposo eccellente. Pulizia impeccabile e atmosfera rilassante. Un ringraziamento particolare per l’attenzione dedicata a nostra figlia Aurora: non solo le hanno regalato un peluche, ma si sono anche messi completamente a disposizione per aiutarci con la sua pappa, nonostante il ristorante fosse chiuso. Questo livello di cortesia e premura è qualcosa di raro e molto apprezzato. Consigliamo assolutamente l’Hotel Villa Margherita a chiunque cerchi un soggiorno piacevole, con un servizio attento e un’ospitalità che fa sentire davvero a casa.
