13/09/2025: A jewel of a place with dream service.... How can I describe this delightful restaurant? Let's start with the service: attentive, courteous, and never intrusive. A host who loves his job and conveys this love in his descriptions of the dishes. The dishes... what more can I say... We tasted various dishes... from Fassona steak tartare to fried meat, including wonderful appetizers and homemade butter... places like this are rare!!! Congratulations!!!!!

06/10/2025: A place with a markedly communist aesthetic, it feels like being in a party headquarters, flags everywhere, hammer and sickle everywhere and I can understand that for some it may seem excessive, but I assure you that the atmosphere is beautiful, not in the style of a decadent community center. The staff is nice and above all, the food is really good. I chose it almost by chance, I had no idea of ​​the setup, let's say I hit the jackpot, both my partner and I are very satisfied! 😁

15/09/2025: Addendum: The visit in 2025 was surprising. In my opinion, the restaurant's quality has declined significantly. The service was inattentive and initially brought the wine we didn't order. The appetizers weren't served properly and had to be taken back. The quality of the food wasn't nearly as good as in previous years. It's also surprising how the owner makes a lot of effort for certain guests, but doesn't even greet others and ignores them. The way he treats his employees/staff is also surprising to an observing guest and tends to disrupt the flow. The employees aren't treated as equals, but are spoken to roughly. The atmosphere suffers as a result. Like every year, we went to Vipore for dinner in 2021. The food and service were, as usual, excellent. The wine was outstanding. We felt completely at home.

29/09/2025: Simply amazing! Food is great! The staff are super friendly. We ordered Tiramisu for dessert and the Waiter assembled the dessert a la minute! Soaked the biscotella in the coffee and assembled everything. Great music as well!! Highly recommended!!!!

15/09/2025: The best sandwich with finocchiona, pesto, and cherry tomatoes for lunch between classes. It's super cheap and affordable for out-of-towners. The tart is also great.

05/07/2025: If you’re in town, you must come here! The food was absolutely delicious! We had the Tuscan Steak and it was tasty and melted in your mouth. Make sure you get dessert too, you will not be disappointed with anything on the menu! Highly recommend!!

28/09/2025: I usually go here every six months, and unlike previous, consistently positive experiences, this time I was disappointed. The wine list is a bit sparse, the menu very appealing, but the dishes don't live up to the high-sounding names they're labeled with. The presentation is beautiful, but the quality of the food isn't up to par. The cod was inedible because it was so salty; I sent it back, but paid for it in full. The atmosphere is always beautiful and elegant, the staff is kind and attentive, but it's a shame the cuisine slipped up.

29/09/2025: €30 fixed menu, poor food quality. It's a shame that during mushroom season, even if you paid, you didn't get a single course, apart from a taste of tagliatelle with mushrooms, unlike what happens at other restaurants during this time. The food overall isn't excellent, not even the pasta. The wine even smelled bad (the first time this has happened to me), which is a shame. We would have preferred much less quantity but better quality, especially considering it's a fixed menu. The view is beautiful, especially from the parking lot overlooking Lake Isola Santa and from the veranda overlooking the mountains. The road is beautiful for a motorbike thanks to the curves and the panorama (but I probably wouldn't do it by car). The interior is very cute, with a cabin-style decor. Reading the reviews, perhaps we came on an unlucky day.

17/10/2025: While riding my motorcycle along the Eroica dirt roads, I stumbled upon this fantastic hotel/restaurant. It's a family-run hotel, and I was struck by the kindness and helpfulness of the owners and staff. The service was impeccable, with garage parking for motorcycles and bicycles. The room was cozy and, despite facing the street, very quiet. The bathroom was tidy and everything was spotlessly clean. I also had the pleasure of trying their simple yet delicious cuisine. The crostoni were excellent, and the tripe, made according to grandma's recipe, was fantastic, all washed down with a nice glass of Montalcino red. The breakfast, with both sweet and savory options, was also excellent. What more can I say? If I were to pass through the area again, I would definitely stay here. Excellent value for money. Best wishes to the owner, a motorcyclist whose name I don't remember, for her trip to Mont Saint Michel, although given the weather, I'd recommend postponing your stay.

12/10/2025: Everything was perfect, the room was perhaps a little dark with artificial lighting (the bedroom), the bathroom was fine. Everything you need was there, the cleanliness was top-notch, and the garage was closed for motorcyclists. The dinner was perfect... the chatter at the bar and the selection of whiskeys and rums were top-notch. The owner is a woman to be admired.

21/09/2025: a great authentic spot in the center of pisa, the place itself is beautiful and the atmosphere is great. there were several tables outside and everyone was enjoying their food and company. the food itself was amazing, we got the buffalo ravioli, tuscan style steak, pork chops, and clam pesto pasta. everything tasted fresh and delicious. the staff were very helpful and accommodating even though we weren’t locals :)

19/08/2025: We found this restaurant-pizzeria by searching online for an online reservation for nine people; we loved the place. The ambient lighting is soft and intimate, perfect for a tête-à-tête dinner. "La Clessidra" has been featured in the Michelin Guide numerous times, and it's a shame we booked just to have pizza. Regardless, they were delicious, with such a light dough that I could easily order a second one and finish it off. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful; the service was impeccable, with all the different pizzas we ordered arriving simultaneously. The welcome with a glass of prosecco and "cantuccini pugliesi" (Puglia biscuits) was a welcome treat. I usually order a beer with pizza, and "La mì Pisa" (a craft beer I already knew) was an excellent match; despite its higher alcohol content, "amber Belgian Ale-style, raw, unfiltered," it proved unexpectedly light (very) and digestible. The total cost for nine people was a surprise, averaging just over €20.00 per person. Even considering the single appetizer one of our guests ordered, preferring it to the pizza, it was greatly appreciated for the distinctive flavor of the "cabbage and cod roll with chickpeas and leek cream," which certainly convinced us to return to try the other dishes on the menu. This pizzeria-restaurant is definitely recommended! (Note: the "Torta cò i bischeri" is delicious and not as dry as similar products we've tasted over the years at various restaurants.)
