25/01/2026: A lovely surprise. Fantastic place, the restaurant used to be an old monastery. The vaults and ancient rooms remain, and there's a wonderful atmosphere. The dishes are generous and well-prepared, especially the fried fish, which was truly excellent. The bill was absolutely fair, in fact, I'd say slightly underpriced. We'll definitely be back.

12/01/2026: What can I say, the name is perfect. Osteria dei Poeti, and in the kitchen, they don't prepare "normal" dishes, but truly delicious poems. Naturally, the wait staff then serves them, explaining the lines and rhymes. Thanks guys, we ate really well: mixed bruschetta, artichokes alla Giudia and fried artichokes (delicious), ribollita, ravioli with bacon and onion, etc. (another delight), and spaghetti with prawns. As I say in these cases... a truly wonderful dinner!!!

06/01/2026: We went to this restaurant for New Year's Eve dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the menu, which was truly spectacular! We were enchanted by the appetizers right from the start, but when they served us the ramen, we thought it couldn't get any better. Instead, the tortelli exceeded all expectations. The wine pairing was also very well received, especially the red "Le Cupole"! The service was impeccable. Usually at New Year's Eve dinners, the food and service are on the "lower end" despite the high prices, but in this case, the cost was absolutely worth it! I highly recommend it.

31/12/2025: Ristorante da Ciacco is truly an excellent restaurant. It seamlessly combines friendly service, lovely atmosphere and amazing food. One can choose to sit either in the comfortable inside area or outside. If you choose the latter, your experience will only be magnified. Sitting outside is surreal....you are virtually next to a 500 year-old church in a beautiful medieval village. Tuscan dishes are generally simple....characterized by locally sourced foods, the freshest ingredients and presented in a non-fussy way. Ciacco is different. The creativity and presentation of the food is truly amazing and the dishes are some of the best I have ever had....Tuscan or otherwise. I’d mention the Tonno (tuna) I had or the risotto, but chances are great that they may not be available the following day as the menu changes constantly, depending on what the cook may have found that day at the market. Ciacco is known in the area for having fish on their menu....something not typical in this area of Tuscany. I have had numerous fish dishes at Ciacco over the years and they have always been fantastic. I always seem to leave the restaurant in amazement as to how spectacular the meal was.....a meal easily on par with the best meals I’ve had at some of Europe best restaurants. In short: if the opportunity should ever present itself, do yourself a favor and stop by beautiful San Quirico d’Orcia and eat at Ristorante da Ciacco!

25/02/2026: I had lunch at Trattoria Tiberio on Via delle Ruote in Florence, and the experience was decidedly positive, with a few small nuances worth mentioning. The restaurant is an authentic trattoria, free from modern constraints or unnecessary stage effects. You come here to eat traditional Tuscan cuisine done well, and that's exactly what you get on the plate. No creative reinterpretations, no stylistic exercises: just classic recipes prepared with care and using quality ingredients. And it's precisely this consistency that makes it so compelling. The chef is very friendly and exudes true passion for what he does, one of those presences that makes the atmosphere more human and genuine. The waiter, young and friendly, also contributes to the pleasant and spontaneous service. The only slightly less warm note was the owner, who wasn't particularly outgoing: nothing serious, but you could sense a more formal welcome than the rest of the team. The food is good, solid, and reassuring. The flavors are clean and true to tradition. You leave satisfied, without that feeling of heaviness or superficial cuisine that unfortunately occurs elsewhere. The wine list isn't very extensive, but it does contain some noteworthy labels: limited but sensible choices. The price is around €50 per person. It's not a cheap trattoria, that much must be said. However, the quality of the food and the overall experience justify the expense. It's not the place to go to save money, but the place to go when you want to eat well, without surprises and with solid reliability. In summary: well-executed traditional cuisine, an authentic atmosphere, and young, pleasant service. A few inflexible welcomes and a limited wine list prevent it from giving a fifth star, but the overall rating remains entirely positive. A pass. I would gladly return. ⭐⭐⭐

05/03/2026: The atmosphere is a bit shabby, the service is quick, the girls are very nice and smiling, the food is so-so, the first courses, spaghetti with clams and ravioli in walnut sauce, were good, the cod under pesto was stringy, while the roast with potatoes was passable, the desserts very good, the price right.....

01/02/2026: We went for lunch at the end of August and were seated at a table in the sun. There were free tables in the shade, and we asked to move, but they told us we could only sit at that table. The waiter told his colleague that we should stay in the sun so we could eat quickly and leave sooner. It was obvious he didn't want to work and didn't want to serve any customers. We got up and left without ordering. We did him a favor.

05/01/2026: While passing through Sansepolcro, we noticed this crowded restaurant and booked dinner for the following day. The welcome was very courteous and friendly, the place was packed with tables, and there was an outdoor veranda enclosed by glass windows, which was also a bit narrow, making it difficult to move around when it was packed. We ordered the mixed antipasto with local cured meats and crostini, and two first courses, including the very flavorful and delicate tagliolini with truffle, and the very tender tagliata with porcini mushrooms, well-seasoned with plenty of mushrooms. Everything was very good, and the prices were reasonable.

07/02/2026: We had the opportunity to try their cuisine last week during an evening stroll through the city center. I wasn't familiar with the place, but what I saw behind the glass caught my attention. I have to honestly say that eating badly in Tuscany is truly difficult. I'm sorry, but I haven't found anything here worth returning for. I ordered bruschetta to start, but when it arrived, it was bland and tasteless. I wasn't even convinced by the idea of ​​blending/homogenizing the three toppings on top to a near-velvet level. Plus, my idea of ​​bruschetta is different. The bread here was freshly reheated. I repeat, I wasn't thrilled. Next came the two different first courses. In both, we didn't appreciate the sauces, which, though plentiful, were very spicy (too much rosemary) but lacked connection with the pasta, perhaps having been quickly stirred in the pan or perhaps not having used the starchy cooking water needed to bind the sauce to the pasta. The restaurant, however, is quaint and charming.

24/01/2026: Stopped in here after our other plans for dinner fell through. So glad we did. The food was delicious and the polenta with sausage antipasti was so flavorful. I could have ordered 4 more and been so happy. The wild boar and chickpeas was yummy and flavorful and the two pasta my friends got were incredible looking and tasting. The music maybe could have been turned up a little but otherwise it was great!

02/01/2026: The food is good but VERY expensive for the type of food and the quantity. We spent 160€ total for 4. Only fix menu: the cheapest was 30€ each which included 1 small appetizer, 1 small entrée, 1 desert and coffee. Wine and water are extra. They charged 10€ for portion of penne pasta with olive oil for a kid. Service was average. UPDATE After receiving a “like” on my review, which suggests that other clients share similar feelings, I feel compelled to update it. After reading your reply, I am also compelled to remove additional stars. I expressed a personal opinion about pricing and service, which I am fully entitled to do as a customer. Your response, however, was unnecessarily aggressive, condescending, and disrespectful — not only toward me, but, judging from other replies, toward other clients as well. For someone who presents themselves as promoting good food, good times, and hospitality, your tone communicates something very different. And to be clear: we were not “friends.” I was a paying customer. In that moment, you were providing a service — nothing more, nothing less. Courtesy and professionalism should apply regardless of whether a client agrees with you or not. Criticism can be discussed; rudeness cannot be justified.

09/03/2026: Having lunch overlooking the sea, or rather, just steps from the beach, is already a luxury. Then, add Gilda's chic atmosphere, and everything becomes special. Kudos to the quality of the food, the fast and friendly service, the decor... everything!!! A fantastic Sunday. 💛

04/03/2026: Visited Forte dei Marmi last fall and had a great experience at ristorante Gilda which came highly recommended. The setting is just beautiful, especially sitting outdoors. The location, the atmosphere, the whole vibe felt effortless and elegant without being pretentious. Service was attentive and warm, and everything we ordered was delicious. Fresh, beautifully prepared dishes paired with great local wine made it such a memorable evening. Simply perfect from start to finish. A must in Forte dei Marmi.

15/03/2026: As tourists, we were just steps from the pizzeria. A warm welcome, and on our second evening, they even offered us a complimentary aperitif! The pizzas were absolutely delicious. The waiters/waitresses were very friendly. And a good wine. Thank you so much.
