11/02/2026: A very nice restaurant with a carefully designed dining room, perhaps just a little dimly lit. The pizzas are excellent, but I was surprised by the fish-based first courses, which were excellent and the portions were just right to fill you up. In my opinion, their strong point is the service. The staff were incredibly kind, and I often heard other customers compliment the young, super-helpful waiters. Well done. It's a shame about the location; it deserves to be on a central street. Highly recommended.

18/03/2026: A truly excellent and super affordable aperitif! For just €18, we had a complete and satisfying experience. The highlight is definitely the first course: truly delicious, well-cooked, and made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, perfect for spending an evening with friends without spending too much. The rest of the aperitif is also varied and plentiful, ideal for those looking for something more than a simple aperitivo. Recommended for those looking for quality, quantity, and excellent value!

21/10/2025: If you are driving in Italy you can't go wrong with Si Montalcino Hotel. Clean, well kept with a very friendly staff. great parking that is close to the hotels lobby. It's only 5 minutes away from Montalcino which is a nice place to visit.

26/11/2025: A true old-school trattoria in the center of Asciano where substance is valued over aesthetics! It's actually called "the village restaurant." The pizza menu is truly extensive: red, white, calzone, pinsa; the meat dishes are also tempting. We shared a pappa con burrata, truly delicious and creamy. Then we tried a pinsa and a pizza: in my opinion, the pinsa dough was far superior, while my husband preferred the pizza with its nice thin crust, which is hard to find these days! We finished with cantucci and vinsanto, a classic you can never go wrong, and a tiramisu with cantucci and vinsanto, truly delicious, with just the right amount of alcohol, a good cream, and garnished with almonds and caramel! We drank three red beers on tap. I'm talking about a bill outside of any market, only €50!!! (I should point out that we had a small discount due to the agreement with our accommodation in the city) but even if it had been €10 more it would have been way below average these days!

After an interesting and picturesque walk through the pine forest, we went down to the seafront where this interesting restaurant is located right next to the sea... what can I say? We ate wonderfully, the dishes were well-prepared and the view was truly breathtaking and relaxing. We'll definitely be back.

15/03/2026: A great place to eat a great pizza. I've tried them all myself, and they're definitely good. The only drawback is the high prices for the Roman-style and steamed pizzas, while the Neapolitan-style pizza is in line with many other places. Reservations are recommended.

30/11/2025: We went there for our communion. We had asked for many crosses but instead they only brought us one. The atmosphere was spectacular but the only thing that made me angry was the one but we will return.

07/12/2025: An excellent seafood restaurant. Excellent value for money. The only thing to note about the menu is that it's not very varied. We've been dining at Trinchetto quite frequently for several years, but the dishes have remained virtually unchanged. The restaurant is small but well-maintained.
