26/11/2025: Absolutely fantastic, delicious food, clean, well-maintained, indoor or outdoor seating, in the sun or not... Located on a side street and therefore much nicer than on the main street! Very helpful and friendly staff.

13/11/2025: We wanted a light lunch, so we opted for a bruschetta appetizer and two Profumo di arancia salads. The bruschetta was excellent, and I must say the salads were perfect too. Thanks to the guy who served us... a little distracted but very nice 😅.

09/11/2025: Everything was very good; we tried the pizza and the fried pasta with panelle. The staff was friendly and cheerful. Service was quick. They're only open in the evenings.

01/11/2025: You need reservations. We arrived 30 minutes after opening to an empty restaurant. After another half an hour, the place was full. The ambiance was Great- it was like watching a family reunion with all of the locals out enjoying a Friday night. The service was excellent! I had the Stuffed Calamari which was very tasty, but I prefer the simple Calamari al Forno. The Spaghetti Vongole was full of Clams and tasty. Salads were good and as expected. Steak was ok- a little chewy, but the Roasted Potatoes, as simple as they were- absolutely delicious! A great experience!

12/10/2025: I was on this terrace with its truly beautiful view for a family event… a beautiful place, everything was meticulously designed, the staff were kind and helpful, but above all, the food was top-notch… We truly had a divine lunch.

02/11/2025: Among the restaurants on Ortigia, we were pleasantly surprised here too. The portions are large, the waiting time and service are average. Let's look at the dishes. Spaghetti carbonara - the sauce was too thin and salty for us, we would rate it 3.5/5. Fritti fish mix - 5/5, the portion is enough for 2 people (according to our appetite). The fish was tender, octopus and squid were in the right consistency and quantity. We couldn't even finish it, so we asked for a takeaway box. They were attentive and didn't forget to put the lemon in it. Veal with lemon and orange - 4/5, the texture of the veal was not bad, but it didn't stand out. The sauce - although it was strange to us - was tasty. We will visit them again for lunch next time, and try the other dishes. The table next to us had boiled mussels, which were also very nicely served. Oh, and the bill is also more favorable than in the interior of the island or even in the market.

We felt special – like we were in a movie, in the heart of Sicilian heaven. Thank you for your professionalism, smiles, and hospitality, which we will never forget.

07/12/2025: Honestly, this is the best Pasta alla Norma I've ever eaten. Everything is truly delicious! Just like the name suggests, it's like going to lunch at your uncle's. If you come here expecting a wide selection like at a restaurant, this isn't for you. Come here and (as Michele says) eat with a few choices, all prepared according to tradition! You can't come to Palermo and not eat at such a traditional place! Iolanda is an excellent chef, and Michele is very courteous and friendly. We'll be happy to return!

24/10/2025: Exceptional experience. We had a wonderful meal!! The owner is truly friendly and helpful. The ravioli are superb, as is the swordfish. The baked ricotta is a special highlight. The quality/price ratio is truly excellent. See you next time!

13/11/2025: Great wine bar! Had a couple glasses of wine, and from an extensive menu the pumpkin risotto and plantains. Server was very knowledgeable about the wines and patiently explained the dishes. Also has a 3, 4 & 5 glass wine tasting. Patio dining and vibrant sunset view!

10/11/2025: Amazing food and wine certainly. I would recommend strongly the salmon filet with crunchy potatoes and the homemade bread. Service very charming and very knowledgeable! Strong recommendation.

05/12/2025: We had dinner with friends at Peppe and Nino's last night, and since I'm a professional chef myself, I have to say it was a truly excellent experience in every way. We started with a mix of appetizers, all prepared with quality products and featuring authentic flavors that demonstrated the restaurant's attention to detail in selecting ingredients. The portions were generous yet balanced, perfect for enjoying a meal without feeling heavy, and their homemade bread and pizza were also very good. After the appetizers, we ordered three first courses, all well-prepared and generously seasoned, and we finished with a mixed grill of meats that confirmed the quality of the entire dinner. The service was impeccable, with friendly and approachable staff, always attentive to the customer, and with virtually no wait times, we began eating right away. The restaurant is welcoming, clean, and characterized by a relaxed atmosphere. In conclusion, I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well.
