09/05/2025: Authentic, fresh fish, quality cuisine, friendly welcome despite the language barrier (all in Italian, no English).
The boss recommends a mixed seafood dish (delicious!) then we shared a shrimp risotto for two. 1 bt red (nero d'avola 80%, syrah 20%, a delight!), 1 bt water, 2 coffees: 83eur. 3 minutes from the airport, late dinner (9:30 p.m.) upon arrival in Catania by an evening flight. Parking at the restaurant easy and safe. Absolutely good value for money.

Their professionalism distinguishes them, excellent fish, the chef Christian 🔝 and Irene who is professional and very sweet, the exceptional staff especially Marco who is very polite and also professional. I recommend the La spelonca restaurant, good food and a nice atmosphere! Gabriella and Enzo

* Phenomenal food. The grilled sea bass was just right- not overcooked.
* They were able to accommodate our party of 8, who wanted to separate our checks by individual groupings without a problem.
* We were seated fairly quickly as we arrived fairly early for the area.
CON:
They forgot two of the dishes, and we had to remind them multiple times.

The service was extremely attentive, the sea salad, well prepared and very pleasant, and the spaghetti alle vongole are among the best I have eaten in my life (and yet I am quite a connoisseur). All in a friendly setting on a small terrace on the main street and with very generous portions.
05/05/2025: Best food we had during our 2 week stay in Sicily. A beautiful hidden gem. Go for the Polpo pasta - was out of this world good. Great service too.

20/05/2025: We kwamen er min of meer per toeval bij uit. Hadden niet gereserveerd en of er nog onverwacht een lunch konden gebruiken op de dinsdagmiddag. Natuurlijk geen enkel probleem. Heerlijk verse vis gegeten Dorade en mixed seafood. Vriendelijke bediening en daarna super vers fruit na. Alles smakelijk geserveerd in een mooi restaurant en goede prijs /kwaliteitverhouding. Aanrader!!

29/05/2025: We came back here twice in a row, the food was absolutely delicious. We really appreciate the option to choose gluten-free pizza in all variants. The service was very nice, the food was prepared quickly. We recommend visiting this establishment when visiting Trapani. 😊

07/05/2025: The ice cream is mediocre at best, but only compared to regular supermarket ice cream standards. In terms of gelato, it's horrible: lots of sugar, without that creamy texture you'd expect. In the restrooms, soap was not available. I checked both women and men, so it wasn't an accident, just indifference and that type of attitude you see in many places with a highly touristic location. I don't recommend if you're looking for authentic gelato.

26/05/2025: I only say compliments because they don't deserve anything else.
We arrived at this restaurant by chance as it is close to the B&B where we are staying.
Taking a look at the open restaurants the photos captured us and we were not wrong. Pepita appetizer to fly away, tuna steak with almonds and couscous prepared with raw materials of excellent quality. Fair prices and above all money well spent.
Nice place and friendly staff.
21/05/2025: It is worth trying the couscous with seafood and fish - this dish is supposedly from Trapani. The second is the pasta Busiate al pesto Trapanese. Everything is very tasty. Friendly service.

24/05/2025: I tried the Day Special Ragu Pasta that was recommended. What I felt was that the harmony of the rich cream sauce and soft raw noodles was fantastic. The moment I took a bite, the soft texture spread in my mouth, which was really impressive. Also, the panini that I ordered together was healthy and clean, adding a good balance to the meal. I really wanted to try other menus here. If you have the chance, you should definitely go there!

Amazing service, with lovely waitresses/staff.
The food was phenomenal, very reasonably priced for the quality.
I would come back here in a heartbeat, and can say that it was one of the best experiences in Ragusa for anyone looking for something special to eat.
Really warm atmosphere.
Special shoutout to our waitress who we didn’t catch the name of, was very happy to recommend for us and provide bespoke service.

23/04/2025: A pleasant, welcoming and clean environment. Simple dishes and at the same time refined in the quality of the raw materials and presentation. I ate some fresh pasta with delicious wild boar ragù, a very good cut with rocket and cherry tomatoes and a sublime almond semifreddo.
Impeccable service and low prices in relation to the excellence of the products.
