19/08/2024: We booked this restaurant through Tripadvisor and were honestly very disappointed. First of all, the price indicated on Tripadvisor is not correct, it says that it is much cheaper than it is. Once we got there, the manager put us on the farthest table of all. We asked him if he could put us at a closer table and he told us that it was reserved (a lie, those tables were never used). Once we were ordering, I asked the restaurant manager to recommend between two wines and he decided to recommend a much more expensive one, naturally we opted for one of the wines we had in mind and not the one he recommended. When we chose the wine, surprisingly the manager made a gesture of displeasure, as if he didn't like the choice since it was a cheaper wine. These events made our evening not as pleasant as we expected. Except for the manager who was arrogant, the other workers were very friendly and professional, a shame because the restaurant has a lot of potential. Greetings

18/08/2024: Akropolis is very elegant restaurant. Food is delicious, great atmosphere and excellent service. The only thing that could be improved is their English. I’d come back next time.

08/08/2024: Such an amazing place. The staff are super nice. The food was so delicious I still crave pasta with truffles. Desert was nice a little too sweet for me but good nonetheless

09/07/2024: During our vacation in and around Trapani, we tried several restaurants and Pepita was definitely the best. Great atmosphere and unforgettable flavors. On the last day of our vacation, we returned once more and were also extremely satisfied. We will definitely be back in the future!

01/08/2024: Beautiful experience from Crik and Crok. The rings and pasta with octopus ragout are highly recommended. The owner was very courteous as were all the waiters. The only flaw is that they are a little too slow but the wait is rewarded by the goodness of the dishes served

19/08/2024: If you are looking for a real pizza in Catania from a wood-fired oven with a long tradition of making pizza, this is the place for a ridiculous amount of money (between 4.5-6 €), the portion is enough for one person, there is no place to sit because there are only 3 or 4 small ones. tables, but gentlemen, whether you eat in or take away, they always pack it in a cardboard box as if for takeaway.

17/08/2024: The pizza size is very small, and the pizza had almost no mazzorella on top. But the pizza was very affordable.

04/09/2024: Excellent discovery. We arrived a little early (before opening), we were warmly welcomed. Unique and incredible view for sunset with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. So romantic. Kind and discreet staff. The meal was excellent and refined. I recommend +****

02/09/2024: Celebrated my birthday in this wonderful place. The atmosphere of the terrace overlooking the sea is splendid but it makes you regret not having dinner inside which, with the remains of the ancient baths, is an enchanting place. Dinner with innovative and exquisite flavours. I hope to return in the not too distant future.

22/08/2024: Ho mangiato due sera fa in questo ristorante vista mare. Un'esperienza magica sicuramente da rifare. Io e mio marito abbiamo cominciato la nostra cena con un mosaico di mare consigliatoci dallo staff, seguito da due primi da urlo. Lui ha preso uno spaghettone ai ricci, mentre io i ravioli ripieni di zucchine e gambero fatti a mano dallo chef. Il tutto accompagnato da un buon vino locale. Ritorneremo sicuramente.

25/08/2024: Cena con amici, tutto buonissimo dall'antipasto al dessert, eccezionali le linguine all'astice, e tutti i crudi come antipasto, ottima la tagliata di tonno e spada, servita su una lastra di pietra lavica con una crema di formaggio. Complimenti a tutto lo staff cordiali e professionali. soprattutto al signor Cosimo proprietario chef del locale.

23/08/2024: Torniamo tutte le Estati alla capannina con grandi aspettative. Constatiamo purtroppo un calo della qualità graduale e costante negli anni. Il crudo anno fa era qualitativo e abbondante, mi ricordo con estremo piacere l’orata magistralmente stilettata. C’é la crisi la capisco e posso accettarlo. Ma ciò che non mi va giù é notare “strategie culinarie” volte al risparmio. Il pangrattato che sostituisce la bottarga grattugiata, litri di pomodoro sugli spaghetti Oriente che copre tutti i sapori. Il pane fritto a fare peso nella frittura di pesce. Spero vivamente che tornino ai fasti di un tempo, preferisco pagare qualcosa in più ma essere soddisfatto. Una nota di merito va alla proprietà che mantiene un personale storico e altamente qualificato.

02/06/2024: Ho scoperto questo ristorante attraverso le ottime recensioni che sono assolutamente veritiere. L'atmosfera conviviale, la passione , la ricerca degli ottimi ingredienti locali fanno di questo ristorante uno degli ultimi avamposti di cultura del cibo . La location è inoltre degna di nota poiché Il piano inferiore del locale è una grotta . Prezzo adeguato alla qualità.

26/05/2024: A hidden gem on a narrow one-way street in Lentini, A Maidda serves up a wonderful dining experience that I'm fortunate to have stumbled upon. Beyond the front section and its tables are tunnels which Executive Chef Salvatore says was used by Greeks of antiquity to escape enemies when the city was under attack. Today, they keep wine safe from Sicily's summer heat; a no less important task. I went with a few friends and left the evening's selection to the Salvatore. He presented a four course meal that began with an antipasto of seasonal vegetables: Pepperoni, caponata, zucchini, and artichoke hearts amongst others. A trio of pasta dishes followed as the primi: fusilli flavored with pesto, pistachio, and eggplant with mint. Sausages of wild pork drizzled with balsamic came out next as the secondi. Traditional Sicilian cannoli were dessert with a digestif homebrewed by the chef from a native plant that struck me as a cross between wild sage and mint. It was sweet, but strong. Imbibe responsibly. And naturally, espresso was served last because drinking coffee at 11pm is what Italians do. When in Rome I guess. It was a lovely meal and I intend to return soon to try the chef's speciality, linguine with blood orange and tuna.

01/08/2024: Parking was outside the restaurant on the street. Area outside at night looks ok and safe. I got a table immediately for 3 people. The pizza Magarita was a 9/10 The seafood 9/10 Bread 9/10 Dessert 10/10 Service 9/10 Only locals and Italians in there so glad to have this authentic experience. Plus they have chilli oil. Toilets had seats and was clean.

29/07/2024: I had the pleasure of dining in this restaurant in Milazzo and I was enchanted. The dishes truly tell the story and culture of Sicily, with fresh, seasonal and often organic ingredients. Every bite was an explosion of genuine flavours. The service was impeccable, attentive and professional, helping to make the experience even more pleasant. An authentic experience that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to taste true Sicilian cuisine.
