A great location, but above all, excellent seafood dishes, friendly staff. If you're near Porto Empedocle, this is a culinary highlight you absolutely must try. Booking in advance is essential.

A good restaurant with fresh fish and excellent quality dishes. The house wine is more than good and the prices are average. The staff is courteous and friendly. I recommend it.

We had a wonderful time, right from the welcome. The staff were friendly and well-trained, and the interior location was incredibly charming—it felt like one of those places where Montalbano stuffs himself. We ate everything seafood-based, cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

You basically have dinner (or lunch) with Camilleri... it's right next door... we made a reservation for two, arrived, and they were kind enough to let us choose whether to sit inside or outside. We chose outside, the smell of the seafood inside was strong. Roast octopus on creamed potato soup. Excellent. Well cooked and quality. Sardines a beccafico, exceptional. It might be a walk in the park to make them in Sicily because it's their daily bread, but that's how it is. Special. Followed by sweet and sour tuna and spaghetti with seafood. This explains the "only" 3 stars... The tuna was overcooked, it's not a matter of taste; a dish with sweet and sour vegetables so well done deserves lightly seared tuna to be stellar. Anyone who doesn't like it (searing instead of cooking) should order something else... this isn't the dish for them. A failure. The real sore point was the spaghetti allo scoglio... let's start with the fact that, in my humble opinion, spaghetti allo scoglio should be red, rosé, and not white. Then, for seafood, the freshness of the ingredients is crucial... the aroma of the dish wasn't the best... The local house white wine, "Il Grillo," was good. The quality/price ratio was unsatisfactory.

I haven't eaten fish this fresh in a long time, and I'm Sicilian too! Really delicious, perfect service, a quiet place, and the house wine is superb! Hooray, I'll be back 😍 P.S. Great prices.

Everything was very good: seafood spaghetti was good, but almost all the clams were empty. Service was fine, and paccheri with swordfish was delicious. For main courses, the grilled fish of the day was good but not great. Swordfish was top-quality, red mullet was not cleaned properly and was very bitter, and not very good. Calamari was okay. The location was nice, so we stayed indoors with air conditioning.
