I migliori ristoranti di cucina mediterranea in Sicilia

25/09/2024: Esposa y yo hemos visitado La Caravella muchas veces a lo largo de los años, Dominic y su equipo siempre nos han cuidado mucho y nos trataron como familia. Durante esta visita pasamos cuatro días disfrutando del paisaje y almuerzos tranquilos. Las tumbonas de playa están muy bien espaciadas y tiene una sombrilla bien anclada para proporcionar sombra si se desea. Su equipo nos recogería en nuestro hotel Taormina y nos transportaría a la playa donde nos recibirían y nos mostrarían nuestros lugares para el día. Camine unos pasos hacia atrás hasta el restaurante cubierto donde el menú es bastante grande y variado, a un precio razonable y la comida siempre deliciosa. El servicio es siempre amable, eficiente y atento. Al final del día el transporte de Dominic nos lleva de vuelta a nuestro hotel. Gracias a Dominic y a todo el equipo por otra maravillosa visita de varios días!

13/09/2024: Gran experiencia en la playa. La Caracalla nos recogió con su lanzadera y nos llevó al club de playa. Incluido en nuestro precio era el servicio de transporte, 2 sillas y una sombrilla. La playa estaba limpia y el mar claro. Tuvimos un almuerzo fabuloso en el restaurante y el propietario nos organizó un viaje en barco por la zona. Muy recomendable.

20/01/2025: Continuiamo a fare tappa qui durante le nostre fughe Sciclitane. Rimane la nostra pizza preferita del posto. Impasto ed ingredienti freschi e deliziosamente preparati ed abbinati. Personale professionale,amichevole e attento. Ci rivediamo presto !!!

27/03/2025: It's not the first time I come and every time I'm always very satisfied. Mr. Vaiola and his staff are really kind, there's a family atmosphere in the place, you feel at ease. The dishes are perceived as being cooked with passion, like at home. Those who come in always come back.

14/03/2025: Treat yourself to this restaurant if you want to eat where the actual residents of Ragusa eat. Great food (Veal is excellent) and homey/local vibes. 100% recommend.

12/02/2025: Going beyond my personal preferences, I recommend everything on the menu: there is nothing that isn't objectively good. Everything excellent, always. Staff and environment alike. Very quiet music, and specifically even at a low volume (personally, being able to talk to those at the table with me is important - but today restaurants often drown out voices with too loud music). Another important thing: the prices are normal for high-end restaurants like this; Nonetheless, the portions are fair and plentiful.

22/11/2024: Arredamento del locale antiquato. Ho scelto la tempura come antipasto, ma era una banale frittura in pastella. Ci propongono e presentano una spigola x 2. Il pesce torna nei nostri 2 piatti in pezzetti in ordine sparso. In un ristorante con un minimo di pretese il maitre torna col pesce cotto, lo pulisce davanti i commensali e depone i filetti INTERI nei piatti. Dessert insignifante.

14/03/2025: We reserved the tower suite for my girlfriends birthday for a weekend last year. The hotel staff was nice enough to help with the preparations, while we were eating breakfast. The tower suite itself is an amazing experience. Right at the pool. with a fantastic view. We also had the dinner in Baglio Onetos Wine Cellar. The food aswell as the wine tasting was fantastic. And the best part: Its absolutely possible to buy the wine aswell and take some bottles home for your friends and family. We were a bit surprised (and amazed) on how often our room was cleaned during the day: - When we went to the pool, our room was being cleaned. - when we went to the massage, our room was being cleaned. - when we went to breakfast, our room was being cleaned. There was not a lot too clean, but we always noticed, that we had brand new towels everywhere and that the bed was tidied. And we never saw the cleaning personnel or their equipment anywhere - so I guess its safe to say, they hire fairies. Fantastic! Overall, an excellent experience. Breakfast is buffet style and was quite good. Also you can get to get the "barkeeper" mix some smoothies for you, which taste delicious aswell.

22/12/2024: Very very positive experience, we were guests for a wedding, waiters and staff extremely kind, attentive to every little thing, courteous and polite, excellent food and wine, beautiful location, truly recommended.

09/02/2025: Really good food, super friendly staff, average price. During the week of the Oktoberfest they cooked the pork shank, which was delicious. Highly recommended

15/03/2025: Very bad experience in this restaurant. The waiter manager was arrogant with very bad manners. He looked at you with a superior air. When the bill arrived, you could see the manager looking at us and laughing at the same time. I hope this review helps someone if they are thinking of going to eat at this restaurant.

15/03/2025: We went for dinner because we were visiting Agrigento and it was the closest restaurant to our accommodation. The food and space were wonderful, but the service from what we believe to be the maître d' of the restaurant has been humiliating. When it was time to pay the bill we reviewed it to check if everything was correct and this person was making fun of another waiter at us in the distance. I don't know what exactly was funny to him but he has ruined all the work of his team who have so kindly served us and cooked such delicious food. Education is key in a business, especially if you are in a place with an influx of foreign audiences.

02/03/2025: Un piccolo ristorantino nel centro del paese con salette su due piani più la terrazza che apre nelle belle giornate. Cibo veramente ottimo e genuino. Complimenti allo scef, giovanissimo, che con i suoi piatti sicuramente ne farà di strada. Il pane ottimo prodotto dallo scef. Che dire, bravi tutti. Sicuramente ritorneremo.

26/02/2025: Assolutamente strepitoso!!!! Posto intimo e accogliente dove intrattenersi sia con la famiglia che con colleghi per una cena di lavoro Cucina assolutamente deliziosa sia con piatti a base di pesce ma anche a base di carne. A mio avvio il risotto al dentice e lime merita un premio. Da provare senza dubbi

15/03/2025: A jewel in the centre of Catania. Upon entering, you are immediately pulled back in time to a world since gone by. A time when the Lords and Nobles quite rightly ruled over the plebians. A time where one man's hard earned birthright was not so unjustly taken by the state. If I could go back in time, I would be lucky just to be a lowly servant if it meant I could wonder these halls and bask in the Moncada Paternò Castello aura. Truely magnífico!

I piatti sono veramente generosi, considerate di condividere qualche portata: noi abbiamo preso l'antipasto misto di pesce (2) e u primo a testa e non siamo riusciti a terminarli! Qualità e cortesia

11/01/2025: Su consiglio dell'host del resort in cui alloggiamo ci siamo diretti verso questo locale... Le nostre esperienze passate, non proprio positive, ci hanno insegnato/consigliato un primo approccio guardingo e sospettoso! Arrivati dinnanzi il locale ci siamo trovati un ristorantino (così come amano definirsi) molto intimo, elegante e (cosa nn da poco) lontano dalla bolgia turistica che affollano le vie centrali di San Vito anche in questo settembre nn proprio dei migliori. Seduti ci siamo subito resi conto dell'affabilità del personale e della proprietaria. Avendo le idee abbastanza chiare su cosa assaggiare abbiamo ordinato quasi subito Cous Cous di pesce e una Carbonara di mare. Il mio essere romano "integralista" mi ha fatto storcere il naso nel leggere Carbonara di mare ma tant'è che ho soprasseduto e l'ho ordinata. Per non tirarla troppo per le lunghe... Piatti eccezionali, ricercati e non affatto miserrimi per le quantità! Un plauso a tutto lo staff e al cuoco! P.S. abbiamo avuto modo, nella stessa sera, di consigliare la Carbonara ad un altro concittadino scettico... Chissà se sarà rimasto entusiasta come noi 😅?!? Complimenti vivissimi. P.P.S. Non allego alcuna foto... Non ne abbiamo fatte... Nn abbiamo fatto in tempo 😋
