09/06/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Trattoria Familiare da Michele & Jolanda. We didn’t speak a word of Italian, but the staff were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, authentic, and full of flavor, and the whole place had such a warm family atmosphere. They even surprised us with a free entrée, which was such a lovely gesture and made the experience even more special. A truly memorable meal and a place we would happily recommend to anyone looking for genuine Italian hospitality and great food.

12/06/2026: During our vacation, we found this little pizzeria during an evening exploration walk. We had dinner here twice, both times we managed to sit at the inside counter facing the oven - it was great to wait for the pizza in this quiet peace and then eat it. The dough is very delicious, thin and crispy. It was a new and delightful experience, because we had not eaten this type of pizza before. We found well-chosen flavor combinations here, and the quantity was just enough to give a pleasant feeling of satiety. Locals also eat here, and judging by the reactions, it can be said that they are returning customers who really love this place. We had kind, polite service, I recommend it wholeheartedly 🤗🌞

05/05/2026: Amazing little restaurant tucked off the street. Amazing service with knowledgeable servers who are happy to explain all the dishes. We had a beautiful meal here and they even catered to our little boy who is only 11 months old. We especially loved the sea bass Sicilian style. Highly recommend!

11/06/2026: A unique venue! The wait staff is courteous and attentive to guests' requests. Their recommended first courses are exceptional. I've never seen such a varied and well-stocked white and red wine cellar, with such high-quality bottles. Considering the top quality and portion sizes, the prices are below average. What can I say? We'll be back to try other delicacies.

10/06/2026: This is the best restaurant I have eaten at in Europe. That is a big claim, but I can genuinely stand by it. I’ve eaten across the full stretch of Europe, from the UK all the way to Turkey, and NOTHING has come close to this place. The first time I came here was 10 years ago, and coming back now felt almost unreal because the menu is still the same and somehow still just as good. In fact, this has beaten every Italian restaurant I’ve eaten in, across different regions of Italy. The seafood here is on another level. Everything is incredibly fresh, sweet, and juicy, and the tomato-based dishes are unforgettable. The veal escalope is ridiculous, the risotto is excellent, and every single dish just delivers. 100% there’s not gonna be a dish here you will not like (unless you don’t have tastebuds or something 🤣). At one point the food was so good I stopped caring about manners and was just eating the seafood with my hands to get every last bit 😭💕 The desserts are just as strong. I fell in love with tiramisu here the first time I came, and it still holds up completely. Service is surprisingly fast, and Lisetta, the owner, is one of the most charming and genuinely sweet people you will ever meet. 🥺💕 I ate here EVERY night we were in Ortigia. It feels like a PILGRIMAGE we have to make to this restaurant. There are restaurants with fancier setups or better views, but if I could only return to one restaurant in Europe, it would be this one!!!

We sampled several traditional Sicilian dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with authentic flavor. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the value for money was excellent: we ate very well and paid a fair price. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Sicilian cuisine!

18/05/2026: My wife and I had dinner here to conclude our week in Sicily. Highly recommended. The spicy mussels were divine, the pasta superb, the Etna wine perfect, and the service very attentive and friendly. Reservations are essential, as it's always very busy! A top spot in Catania.

25/05/2026: Choosing Baglio Oneto for our wedding (May 23, 2026) was one of the best decisions we could have made. Wonderful views, impeccable organization, and kind and super helpful staff. We especially thank Vincenzo, Massimo, and the maître d'—truly wonderful and highly competent people! The food was excellent, and all our guests complimented us on the organization and quality of the reception. We also spent the night at the hotel. 22/04/2026: This is a very nice hotel to stay at. It is quite large (conferences are also held there). But you don't really notice that very much. At the (amazing!!) breakfast and by the (beautiful) infinity pool, you are only with a small group of people. Otherwise, it is a traditional hotel. You notice this in the rooms (good but not very special), and the dinner is also good but not very exceptional. The people who work there are extraordinarily friendly, very helpful, and really want to make you feel comfortable. The price is quite steep. Before this, we stayed at two small-scale, top-notch places on the east of the island, but they were less pricey than Baglio Oneto. That is a bit out of proportion. That is why, all in all, it just misses 5 stars. I would come back in a heartbeat for the people who work here; the place itself needs something extra.

08/06/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us by the manager of the Hotel Dome. The owner was so welcoming and suggested a menu that was specifically prepared according to our tastes. The fish was so fresh and perfectly presented. It was a meal that we talked about for the rest of our trip. We loved sitting outside and watching the people of Marsala go by. 06/06/2026: A good restaurant just outside Marsala. Careful attention is paid to celiacs and those with intolerances. Excellent selection of fresh fish and pasta dishes, and delicious desserts with a fun twist.
