Though we (4 pers) were lucky to get the only free table without reservation short after opening in the evening, do make a reservation even during weekdays. The food is gorgeous, the service is professional and attentive, and the prices are quite friendly for this quality.

It truly feels like a step back in time: the portions are generous (perhaps even too generous), the service is friendly and pleasant, and the food is good.
Excellent value for money.
Only one note: the ambiance could use a makeover.

27/03/2026: We'd heard good things about this place, famous for its "Stocco alla Messinese," so we went today, intrigued. What can I say...it was an explosion of flavors for our taste buds, of all the dishes! In a warm and familiar atmosphere, as if we were right at home!

15/04/2026: It WAS the best sliced stink in town, especially the "rustic" one. Today, for the second time in a few months, I find a dough that hasn't risen well and a poor quality salami that gives the stink a taste that is exclusively Saturday.
