29/03/2025: In occasione del carnevale siamo stati in questo ristorante che alla prima impressione sembrava un po' modesto. Invece una cucina di ottima qualità con tradizione siciliana eccezionale dalla pizza al pesce. Pesce fresco con un enorme vasta scelta. Personale cordiale e competente. Porzioni abbondanti e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo

20/03/2025: Abbiamo cenato al ristorante "Il Covo di Misterbianco" e l'esperienza è stata semplicemente impeccabile! Il cibo era freschissimo, con un'attenzione particolare al pesce, che era straordinariamente fresco e preparato alla perfezione. I camerieri sono stati molto professionali, cordiali e attenti, creando un'atmosfera accogliente e piacevole durante tutta la serata. Siamo anche rimasti impressionati dalla vasta scelta di vini, ricca e ben selezionata, che ha esaltato ancora di più la qualità dei piatti. Siamo una coppia assolutamente soddisfatta e sicuramente torneremo! Un ristorante che merita tutte le 5 stelle per la qualità del cibo, del servizio e dell'attenzione ai dettagli.

05/04/2025: A real treat for the palate! The octopus on mashed potatoes was a refined dish, very tender and full of flavor. Compliments to the chef and all the restaurant staff for the attention and quality!

11/03/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale a pranzo per la Festa della Donna e abbiamo mangiato davvero bene. Gli antipasti ci hanno soddisfatto: la fritturina e il cocktail di gamberi erano gustosi e ben preparati. Consigliamo assolutamente di provare le busiate, molto buone e abbondanti. Il couscous, invece, non ci ha convinti del tutto: il brodo mancava di sapore e, di conseguenza, il piatto è risultato un po’ insipido. Nel complesso, è un ottimo posto per gustare del buon pesce se ci si trova a Castellammare. Lo consigliamo vivamente! Inoltre, il locale è molto bello ed elegante, con una posizione invidiabile praticamente sul mare.

09/03/2025: Siamo stati due volte in questo bel ristorante al porto di Castellammare. Direi che abbiamo mangiato molto bene entrambe le volte. I camerieri attenti e cordiali. Come antipasto abbiamo mangiato dei calamaretti fritti. Ottima frittura e infarinatura. Abbiamo poi mangiato dei paccheri al sugo di gamberi davvero eccellenti. Il conto perfetto per quello che ho mangiato direi onesto. Lo consiglio.

27/03/2025: To be honest, the view of the Mediterranean is breathtaking, but the vongole weren't disgorged enough. The sand crunches under your teeth... not great. Otherwise, not bad.

24/03/2025: On January 1st we had lunch. They gave us something left over from the day before, badly reheated in fact the potatoes were lukewarm, and the waitress took care of reheating them. Terrible experience never again.

23/03/2025: We had a fantastic weekend. TOP cleaning and accessories! They take care of every little detail! Rooms equipped with every comfort and strategic location of the hotel. We went to lunch and dinner at their restaurant, we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The food was delicious, and I loved the cake with ricotta and almonds. Rich and abundant breakfast. We were thrilled. The staff was fantastic. We will be back!

04/01/2025: I tried the restaurant. Really excellent food, best dish of the stay. However, I didn't have couscous but spaghetti al vongole. The best of my life! Negative point: it took 45 minutes before being served, our glasses of wine warmed up and we had to put ice cubes in them…

12/12/2024: Sicily meets Arabia. Fairytale-like ambience with typical local dishes. The specialty and highly recommended is the couscous.

17/03/2025: Durante nuestra estancia de 4 noches en Taormina cenamos 2 de las noches en Casa Niclodi. La atención recibida de Maurizio y el personal realmente nos hizo sentir bienvenidos en esta joya escondida del paseo peatonal principal, Corso Umberto. El ambiente interior (todavía demasiado frío para comer al aire libre) es de muy buen gusto y te hace sentir como si estuvieras en una villa siciliana... .. que en realidad era anterior. La comida es fabulosa y estuvimos más que contentos de tomar recomendaciones tanto de comida como de vino de Maurizio, que es parte de la propiedad familiar. Durante las dos visitas, tuvimos pasta de tinta de calamar, ensalada de gambas rojas, ensalada de alcachofas y gambas, pasta de pez espada y carne de res con setas y trufa. ¡Todo magnífico! Nuestro otro camarero que queremos reconocer es Davide en la noche 1 y Vitale en la noche 2. Entre todos ellos nos atendieron personalmente ambas noches y tuvimos varias conversaciones sobre la vida en Sicilia. Esta es una de nuestras partes favoritas de los viajes, realmente conocer un poco sobre las personas que viven y trabajan allí Tenemos la suerte de haber viajado por el mundo y haber estado en algunos restaurantes fabulosos, y podemos decir que este es un top 5 para nosotros. Puede hacer frente a cualquier lugar, en cualquier lugar para el servicio y la calidad. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que visite Taormina!

02/04/2025: Una serata tra amici per festeggiare la fine di coso di aggiornamento abbiamo preso degli antipasti di crudi fresco e buonissimo e curati dopo dei primi linguine alle vongole buono tre bottiglie di vino bollecine … il conto molto alto per il pesce che abbiamo mangiato, locale curato e personale professionale ….

06/04/2025: Pleasant time spent in this bar restaurant. Very affordable prices, good pizza and good ice cream coated with pistachio. The spritz taken at the appetizer was good. Double Apéro+charcuterie/cheese plate+2pizza and 2 desserts €50. The waitress was very nice despite the language barrier. We recommend this restaurant

23/10/2024: Das Restaurant sah sehr einladend aus. Wir kamen mit einer grossen Gruppe von 12 Personen. Leider war die Kapazität nicht hierfür ausgerichtet. Am Ende kamen die Speisen nicht zusammen, Drinks wurden vergessen und wir mussten lange warten. Die einzelnen Gerichte sind jedoch empfehlenswert.

28/12/2024: 110 cum laude restaurant. It will be the fifth time I've come, the first in winter, and I know I'll always go without fail. Very nice place, well furnished and with a nice open kitchen, which I find really tasteful. Very courteous, friendly and professional staff. Excellent food. Starting from the bread basket, with an excellent focaccia and a delicious crunchy crust with seeds and cereals. I only take the 5-course tasting menu, a gastronomic journey (always different or in any case revised) of the highest level. This time they served us a delicious savory cappuccino with potato and wasabi foam, spirulina powder and raw prawn at the bottom, served with a homemade cereal croissant. Then a roasted octopus tentacle cooked to perfection with pumpkin cream and basil sauce and cocoa nibs (brilliant idea because the bitterness of the cocoa gave the dish an indescribable strength). The first was cacio e pepe with homemade rigatoni (and you could taste the difference) with seared prawn, super. For second, a very soft slice of red snapper with seared skin (I suspect it has been caramelised, an aspect which I still appreciated) with a full-bodied wakame seaweed and a chickpea cream. Since there were two of us, the desserts were different. The first is a mix of a gianduja pudding with salted caramel, vanilla ice cream and mint, the second is a sweet pastry (like chiacchiere) with sweet ricotta, strawberries and candied orange. Super recommended!
