24/08/2025: We came here on the recommendation of a local, and found exactly what we were hoping for: authenticity, generous portions, incredibly flavorful dishes, minimal frills and plenty of substance, at very fair prices. I also want to highlight the kindness of the owners: I had forgotten a valuable pair of glasses here; when I returned two days later (the next day was closed), they had been stored in a drawer waiting for me to come and retrieve them. An excellent experience in every way; come and let them guide you through a pasta dish with sardines (unmissable!!!!) and a fried fish or fishballs with tomato sauce.

13/08/2025: Osteria Pantelleria is a small, welcoming restaurant in the center of Palermo. The hostess is very kind and knowledgeable, and knows how to recommend dishes on the menu. The fresh, locally sourced produce is excellent, and the fried food is excellent. Good value for money.

07/08/2025: We ordered a raw seafood dish and a first course. The raw seafood dish was spectacular, the best I've ever eaten. You could taste the seafood, which I'd never experienced before. Excellent service. A truly worthwhile place. My boyfriend's first course was very good, mine was good, but I was a bit disgusted by the excessive tomato sauce. It respects typical Sicilian traditions.

13/08/2025: The other night I went to this place with some relatives (it was all decided at the last minute). What can I say, it was really nice. We first had a hot appetizer (even though there were four of us, it was very generous) and then we had a pizza, which I must say was delicious. Very welcoming staff. I recommend it.

La parmigiana di spatola una meraviglia da gustare e carpaccio di ricciola su letto di verdure fresche eccellente . Il pesce fresco fa la differenza.

04/09/2025: A pleasant surprise in the center of Castellammare. We ate dinner at the tables outside. The first course was a special "la buona forchetta" (good for the food), the sauce we'll remember for a long time, and the meat was also very good. Fast service and the owners were friendly and welcoming. A first course, a sliced ​​steak, a trio of meats, and a side dish with water and wine were €45, a fair price. The only downside is that the tables outside are on the street and traffic passes by, but the quality of the food makes it worth it.

24/07/2025: I had the Linguine alla Gattopardo, with pistachio pesto and bottarga, truly tasty! But there's not a single dish I wouldn't have enjoyed: had I stayed longer, I would have tried the entire menu! I appreciated that at the bottom of the menu there's also a list of allergens present in their dishes, useful for those with intolerances. I think it's a nice touch. The table was on a terrace overlooking the sea, and the atmosphere made you feel at ease. The staff was friendly. So I'm satisfied. I recommend it!

31/08/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant on the Sant'Agata seafront. The place isn't particularly well-kept, but it's typical of a tourist area. The service isn't the best either, but it's certainly very kind and attentive... but when the food arrives, you know you've chosen the right restaurant! The food is truly amazing! 06/09/2025: I've known it for a while, and I had no doubts. At Pivo Restaurant, you'll find friendliness, professionalism, and quality, but ultimately, "quantity." I didn't remember these portions being truly satisfying. Prices are average, and these days it's hard to find a place where your food and your wallet are in harmony. I highly recommend it.

09/09/2025: Very inviting and tasty dishes, reflecting true Sicilian identity: we ordered three spaghetti alla marinara and a salmon farfalle; fresh, high-quality grilled vegetables; very fair prices for a centrally located osteria in Palermo. The staff were very welcoming, kind, and helpful; we didn't have to wait long for our dishes, and everyone was friendly. The location is very convenient, just steps from the Palazzo dei Normanni; the only downside is that the tables outside on the veranda are exposed to street traffic, which can be annoying. Overall, an excellent experience. Recommended.

27/08/2025: Perfect for a refreshing break near the Palais Normand. We didn't eat there, just had a drink. The staff is friendly. The terrace is shaded at lunchtime, and fans provide some fresh air.

11/08/2025: Nice seafood restaurant in Avola. Parking: More or less, it's located in the streets near the restaurant. Location: Very nice, new, modern, on several floors, clean. Food: Good, nothing to complain about, although they misread our order and brought us the wrong dishes. Area for improvement: The air conditioning is too low; we asked for it to be turned up, but it didn't improve the situation. It's embarrassing; you can't dine in that incredibly cold weather. QR code to order: Aside from the fact that no one told us it was there (we wasted 20 minutes waiting for the menus), in a "chic" restaurant like this, it's more friendly and polite to have paper menus, to avoid the "pub" effect. Honestly, I wouldn't return, even though the food is very good. Kudos to Mattia, a friendly waiter who always looked after us with tenacity and professionalism, and a touch of humor when needed!
