26/06/2025: Our first visit to this restaurant exceeded my wife's and my expectations, as some reviews were somewhat sparse or negative. We were greeted and served with a very warm ❤️ by the staff. The place is very beautiful, with a garden in the courtyard, and the restrooms are clean. Our meal was simply delicious, and the house rosé wine was excellent. And to finish off, we received a shot of schnapps on the house—the first time since our vacation and in the many restaurants we've eaten at in Sicily. Based on our experience, we can highly recommend this restaurant. It's not to be missed.

14/06/2025: Very varied menu with pizzas of all kinds with plenty of choice, fixed menus meat or fish, stockfish menu... everything and more at competitive prices. We discovered it thanks to the Baci Perugina voucher, so we had a discount on a pizza. We were more than satisfied.. excellent pizzas and "Roman style" (low) like we hadn't seen in a long time and now so sought after. 😅 Good fried food and finally we found the Coca Cola ZERO in a glass for the time. Despite the voucher we were pleasantly surprised by the bill, given the recent price increases on pizzas, especially in the places on the coast that we usually frequent. Beautiful and well-kept location. Very kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

05/07/2025: They increased the prices: Parmigiana pizza 11 euros instead of the 9 indicated on the menu, Pachino 12 euros instead of the 10!! We always took pizzas from them to take away, but with the prices like this it is no longer worth it. And also change the prices on the site so as not to confuse people, prices in the online menu are the public offer!

08/07/2025: A charming and welcoming place with air conditioning. The service is impeccable; the restaurant owners recommend dishes and explain them to those who are less familiar with them. The dishes are extremely tasty and plentiful. Water and wine are plentiful, as is the bread. True Sicilian hospitality, like you'll find very few places. In my opinion, this restaurant is definitely worth a try. Highly recommended; excellent value for money.

17/06/2025: We had pasta! And it was delicious and plentiful. They had a variety of pastas with fish and seafood. The service was prompt, respectful, and friendly! So, very satisfied.

09/06/2025: Ho preso un piatto di Spaghetti Lido (con pesce spada e melanzane). Buonissimo e finalmente porzioni che saziano. Avevo il cellulare a 0% e me lo hanno gentilmente caricato. Importante perché essendo forestiera avevo bisogno di Google Maps per tornare in hotel! :)

08/07/2025: Delicious: The restaurant beautifully combines local ingredients, excellent service, and a wow factor, creating a truly wonderful experience. I went with my girlfriend for her birthday, and both the sommelier and the two waitresses were very friendly and attentive. When I mentioned the need to change a dish due to an ingredient, they offered a similar solution, which I thought was an excellent detail.

10/06/2025: An experience not to be missed among the starred restaurants in Sicily. Chefs Colonnetta and Patti, masters of hospitality, manage to make you live a unique experience in the gastronomic panorama. Another peculiarity, compared to other starred restaurants, is the not too formal spirit that distinguishes them. Nino, the maitre-sommelier, enhances each course with his explanations and wine pairing. The waiters are kind and professional. The dishes are studied in every detail with various references to Sicilian traditions, often taking you back to childhood memories. Finally, the desserts, in particular, our pear and chocolate was a revelation both to the sight and to the palate. An experience and a journey that enrich you.

07/06/2025: We had a pleasant time at this authentic, local restaurant. Very affordable prices, excellent pasta and pizza. Very friendly staff. It's a nice change from the "tourist traps" that are rated above 4.5 stars.

23/07/2025: A clean, tidy, and above all well-kept venue, from the interior dining room to the magnificent garden, spacious enough to celebrate any occasion. Efficient service and friendly staff cater to every request, just what every restaurant should offer. I went with friends and we had a great time: fresh, well-cooked fish, excellent pizza, all delivered very quickly. Satisfied friends, no exceptions! We'll definitely be back!

20/07/2025: Excellent food, average prices, fairly quick service, and friendly staff. The swordfish Messina-style was very good. Recommended!

19/07/2025: We were at this restaurant yesterday, the second shift, and I don't recommend the fixed fish menu. 1. The appetizer was poor and flavorless. 2. The first courses, mainly the seafood risotto, were watery and in some parts almost tasted plain. 3. The second courses, the fried fish and mussels were good. The calamari with its sauce was COLD and tasteless. I don't know what went on in the kitchen, but I'd heard good things about it. If so, I strongly advise against it.

12/07/2025: U Palangaru, renowned and now famous in Portopalo. One of the busiest restaurants, for sure. The strong points are definitely the atmosphere, which I've always found very relaxing, and the Chef's appetizer: Una Bomba. The only flaw? The overpriced first and second courses. In Portopalo, I still haven't found a restaurant that stands out from the crowd. The usual first courses with cherry tomatoes, pistachios, shrimp, etc. No one ever stands out. I recommend trying something new, the potential is there. The combination menu idea is also nice.

01/07/2025: Worst appetisers in Italy...a few potato chips and dry bread!

01/07/2025: Overpriced and smaller than general portions. Taormina in general is expensive, so it's no surprise really. Service was kind, but a bit slow. The meat was called entrecote, but doesn't resemble the cut as it's known in other countries. The fried vegetables were cold. The house wine was way overpriced for the quality served. Can't recommend, but we at least finished the food.

12/07/2025: Absolutely lovely seafood restaurant, highly recommend. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was exceptional and reasonably priced. The seafood linguine was particularly delicious. A huge thank you and we will certainly be back. 10 out of 10.
