La loro insalatona è un piatto unico ricco sia di ingredienti che nella quantità, è buonissima e ho faticato a finirla. Il pescato del giorno, che ho scelto di far panare e arrostire, era delizioso come le verdure che lo accompagnavano. Sarà il mio punto di riferimento quando ritornerò in zona per lavoro. Consigliatissimo!

We love that area of ​​Sicily and Buona Forchetta is definitely one more reason to return soon!!!

28/05/2025: Welcomed in the Italian style, After the starter, we waited more than half an hour. In the meantime, the waiter thought we'd been served and finished eating, and even removed all the cutlery. When the main course was served, we found nothing to eat. No apologies, no excuses... nice! Besides, I ordered my small mixed salad. Obviously it was ordered to accompany my spaghetti; it was served ah, dessert time. What kind of world are we living in?

08/05/2025: I can't understand the negative reviews I read, I went there twice for lunch and both times I ate well. Food not of a high culinary school but cooked well and with the right portions, nice and welcoming location, prices not very high and, a fact not to be overlooked, all filled with the friendliness of the owner and his sister. When I'm in the area I will definitely go back.

29/04/2025: I honestly don't understand why other reviews are raving about this place. The service was awkward and mediocre. I wanted to order a wine, but got told quite rudely she'd take my order for a drink, after I ordered the food. The food was just tragic. Steak tartare was tasty, but the main was an insult to Italian food. The baked potatoes were old and reheated; some were stone cold, some were lucewarm. Some were raw, some were mushy. Really nasty. The "roasted lamb" were 3 small cuts of grilled lamb with bone. Nothing more. The pistachio-crusted steak was an unseasoned piece of meat without the crust. For €28,-!!! The wines were ok, but nothing out of the ordinary. No explanation about them either. For a WINE bar, you'd expect at least some passion about the wines. Don't spend your money here, there are tons of other places that actually have love and passion for their food.

15/04/2025: Saturday 12 April 2025, my partner and I decide to have dinner at "Paradise". I knew the place, but it had been too long since I'd been back. No need to dwell: we ordered two pizzas and two beers. The pizzas were literally amazing; thanks to a very high quality dough which, in hindsight, proved to be decisive for their extreme lightness. Honest prices and immensely impeccable service. In this regard, I would like to address a special thank you to the girls who served us, especially because despite the chaos we were pleasantly satisfied (it was still a Saturday evening and I admit that, also noticing a frighteningly "pressing" takeaway, I feared monstrous waiting times, but that wasn't the case). The environment is quite spartan, but let's say that you can only experience this fact first-hand on Saturday evenings. After all, alas, I think it applies to all pizzerias when we have to deal, in spite of ourselves, with hordes of kids or arrogant parents ready to invade these refreshment points on the sixth day of the week... In any case, I recommend you stop by. Pizzeria Paradise has nothing to envy compared to other much more renowned pizzerias without a truly valid reason. In fact, it's worth a hundred times more. Try it to believe it.

22/04/2025: Family owned restaurant since 2005. Excellent service, delicious food. We had the grilled sea bass, vegetables, marinated anchovies, seafood ravioli. And a crisp, cold Grillo wine. Highly recommend.

20/05/2025: A lovely restaurant set aside from the main road in Taormina. It had a lovely garden terrace where we had our meal. The meal was delicious. The starter aubergine caponata was incredible, well seasoned and rich in flavour. The bread was served warm with a helping of olive oil and balsamic vinegar- sadly lacking in other restaurants. The main meal was an alla Norma pizza and pasta both well seasoned and neatly balanced. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a meal!

04/05/2025: We stayed for two consecutive evenings in this restaurant where you can enjoy mainly fish dishes, but also meat. Very friendly staff and always available. Both the first courses, risotto with clams, spaghetti with prawns, spaghetti with sea urchins and the second courses such as mixed fried foods are excellent. You can even see the fish of the day. Their specialty is highly recommended: Palermo seafood salad, with octopus, anchovies, onion, tomatoes and olives. Excellent value for money.
