05/05/2026: This hotel is so welcoming! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, especially Maria Teresa. Rooms are clean, airy and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and abundant. The evening meals are so diverse, fresh and we were presented with such a lovely selection of local delicacies and dishes. The location is ideal to explore the surrounding areas, and very peaceful and quiet.

20/04/2026: sad to say, but by far our worst meal here. Fish was cold and not good, even the stray cats didn’t want to eat the leftovers. Fried artichoke was cold and inedible, impossible to eat. The owners kids ran around kicking a soccer ball in and out of the restaurant the whole time and threw these spark things on the ground that made loud bangs. We didn’t have silverware or napkins and kept having to ask for basic things like that or grab them from neighboring tables. Very overpriced too. The staff is nice but would pass on the food sadly. :(

03/06/2026: Everything was perfect. The only problem was the placement of the air conditioning units, which didn't allow for proper ventilation in the room. It was a bit hot at the end of the evening. Otherwise, Mr. Giuffrida was very attentive and managed to arrange the guests so that the air conditioning could be turned on. The staff was very professional. The food was excellent, using excellent ingredients, and kudos to the chef. Everything was delicious. Definitely worth returning.

24/04/2026: It's absolutely my favorite place to eat in Rosolini. I'll tell you why, following the order of my perceptions: 1) You enter the osteria and find a welcoming setting: warm lighting, artwork decorating the walls, local products visible from the shelves. Excellent background music. In short: elegance and familiarity at the same time; 2) The amuse-bouche is a caress you don't expect, objectively, in an osteria: beautiful (!); 3) Extremely interesting menu: I would have literally tried everything. My impression is that there is a culinary research effort through the preparation and valorization of local products. The ingredients are extremely fresh and of the highest quality, but above all, refinement without starvation: the portions are truly generous; 4) Selection of serving dishes: this too is a form of attention. The serving dishes are all different, all beautiful, all selected specifically for the dish; 5) The wine list is structured according to my ideals. Clear, with precise recommendations. Here too, I see an effort to highlight the local area. The girls serving are excellent at recommending wines to complement the dishes and are very attentive in the tasting. 6) The service deserves a special mention: the girls in charge are extremely kind, knowledgeable about the food and wines, have excellent service attitudes, and are skilled at finding the right balance between discretion and attentiveness. 7) Value for money: excellent. The average cost is 30-40 euros, but considering the quality and preparation of the dishes, the abundance of the dishes, and the overall experience, I'd say it's absolutely adequate.

03/05/2026: Extremely long waits, and usually when I ask other pizzerias to make a Margherita pizza as quickly as possible for a child rather than wait as long as we adults do, they've never given me any problems. Here, the child had to eat at 10:45 PM with a table booked for 9:00 PM. There are small adjustments that make all the difference.

08/06/2026: I'm giving one star only because it's impossible to give zero. We dined here as a group of 14. We expected a pleasant evening, but we were treated unacceptably. Around 9:30-10:00 PM, a perfectly normal time for dinner, the staff asked us if we wanted dessert or coffee. When we said no, a gentleman in a red shirt (who had served us) turned to a colleague and said, in front of us, "If you don't want dessert, you can also give us the bill." I find this incredibly rude. The customer should ask for the bill, not the restaurant that imposes it to free up the table. We felt like we were literally being thrown out, 14 of us. As if that weren't enough, the same person in the red shirt, within a few minutes, let out another annoyed remark: "Are they still here?" All this annoyance towards us unfolded in a very short space of time, not even 5 minutes. Of course, we got up, paid the bill, and left immediately, but with enormous regret and bitterness for how we were treated. We thought they were closing, but instead we also noticed that the room above was also full of people who had arrived even before us. We basically ate and were immediately kicked out. I strongly advise against this place. The food never justifies rudeness and the rush to get rid of customers. We will never return. I should also add that we complained about this attitude at the cashier and they replied, "Sorry, it's the manager." Excellent, congratulations on your choice of staff. We've been going to this place for years, which we considered excellent for both the food and the friendliness, but I see everything has changed.

07/06/2026: I returned to Zu Caliddu with my brothers after about thirty years. As a kid, it was a place I frequented, and finding it again today, still so distinctive, was truly a pleasure. We enjoyed the historic old face, with that aroma of oven, tomato, onion, and caciocavallo cheese that immediately brings to mind certain true Palermo flavors. Then the muffolette, tried in various flavors and also in the simplest version with oil, salt, pepper, oregano, and cheese. Everything was good, straightforward, and without frills. A place that preserves its memory, identity, and flavor. Returning there with my brothers was even more wonderful.

14/06/2026: Everything was delicious. We were greeted by the friendly owners, a very positive note: the counter was filled with many delicacies. We had a mozzarella and prosciutto piadina, which was truly delicious; one with vegetables and anchovies—what more can I say?—an arancina with radicchio and taleggio cheese; and a mozzarella in carrozza, delicious. We'll gladly return. Well done!

14/06/2026: We had dinner at this rotisserie, and I'm so happy we chose them. The arancini were wonderful. I had radicchio and taleggio cheese. From the first bite, I tasted an explosion of Sicilian flavor, truly delicious. Then I had the pidone with vegetables and anchovies. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys anchovies. Above all, I want to emphasize their friendliness and kindness with their customers. Congratulations!!!! Highly recommended 💯

24/11/2025: A very pleasant stay, thanks also to Marilù 🌟 I spent a few nights at this hotel and was truly satisfied. The location is excellent: easily accessible and well-connected to the city's main attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with those thoughtful details that make you feel immediately at ease. The service was attentive and courteous: the staff responded efficiently to every request, demonstrating genuine helpfulness. The breakfast was rich and varied, with fresh and beautifully presented products. The dinners were also delicious, an added bonus that completes a day of travel or work. But what makes this stay truly unique is Marilù: a charming woman, full of life, with a rich and profound history. Her presence, her hospitality, and her personal taste are evident everywhere: in the furnishings, in the paintings, in the prints, in that unique charm that gives the house a soul. Beyond the quality of the food and the beauty of the place - and in Sicily there is always plenty of that - it is precisely this that makes the experience special and memorable.

20/11/2025: We were welcomed like family; the atmosphere is very homey. The rooms are simple and clean. The pool is huge! We even went swimming in November! The restaurant is excellent. Marylou is very attentive to the ambiance. The music is great, which makes the atmosphere warm and inviting. The food is high quality and very well prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed it. And when the restaurant is closed, she suggests we go to Ittico, which was also delicious 😋

12/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tao Beach Club – Excellent Experience! Tao Beach Club is an excellent option for a relaxing day at the beach. The service is outstanding, and the restaurant is truly top-notch. A special thank you to Natalia, who is exceptionally customer-focused — even though the club was fully booked, she called me back as soon as a cabana became available and reserved it for us. It happened to be the last day of the season, and my wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend it. The atmosphere, service, and attention to detail made it a perfect ending to our trip. Highly recommended!

30/05/2026: A museum-like restaurant for football fans, with a good menu featuring a variety of appetizers, first courses, and second courses, both fish-based and otherwise. You'll find the first jersey of a Juventus player and AC Milan's first international cup, along with a wealth of other memorabilia. Good food and average value.

05/06/2026: This review comes from 38 years ago when my father was stationed at Sigonella. They didn't have any available base housing when we transfered from Maine, so we stayed in Motta in a high-rise apartment building our first year. I remember sheep being herded down our street, I remember the AMAZING street markets every weekend. I am lucky enough to remember it all. Most of all, I have NEVER FORGOTTEN the pizza sauce from Valentino. There are only a small handful of places that have made pizza that gave me a hint of the taste of that sauce. Every time it hits, takes me right back. We went almost WEEKLY, which was insane for a military family...we didn't eat out at all. I have now made my first pizza at home, myself, and I will spend the rest of my years perfecting the sauce from my childhood. I wish you all the best!

I was looking for somewhere with a view and good food… To my surprise, it was a charming spot… My cat kept me company, and Lorenzo, the waiter, was very kind and attentive. The food was amazing… fresh and made to order… It's going to be one of my favorite places here 😍🙌🏽

03/05/2026: We ordered a plate of spaghetti allo scoglio But it wasn't to my liking. The pasta was lightly seasoned. Then we had some roasted octopus without any salt. Then we had a plate of raw seafood. Good, but nothing special. The price of this lunch was way too high for what we ate.
