24/10/2025: La Prima Dea in Erice was such a lovely surprise. The food was beautiful, full of genuine Sicilian flavour, and made with top-quality local ingredients. The olive oil was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted — I could have happily eaten it on its own! What really stood out was the hospitality. The waiters weren’t pushy or trying to grab tourists’ attention like you often see elsewhere; they were genuinely proud of the amazing food they serve. Service was super quick too, which made it perfect for a relaxed but efficient lunch. We tried the arancini, pane cunzato and panino — all absolutely delicious. And the friendly chap outside, calling people in with his charming Italian accent, really made my day. La Prima Dea is one of those places that reminds you what good food and genuine warmth are all about. Highly recommended!

24/11/2025: We were at this restaurant a couple of years ago and had wonderful memories. We returned and the experience was terrible. We ordered an appetizer, three pasta dishes—one plain with oil and one with clams—and three pork shanks. The three pork shanks were badly cooked, the meat dry and unpalatable. The pasta was bland. We left practically everything. In the end, we had lunch with pieces of bread and oil. 150 euros...never again! Not so much for the price (although a 12-euro plate of pasta with oil is a joke), because the food and the work must be respected, but also the customers.

09/11/2025: Impeccable experience! Starting with a super-well-kept and welcoming atmosphere, with furnishings that convey a sense of homeliness! Attentive and fast service, topped off by a highly trained staff who are very kind and friendly. The pizza was one of the best I've ever had, delicious dough, high-quality ingredients, the menu is also very varied, and the staff is always ready to offer you plenty of suggestions. The menu features many delicious desserts! Highly recommended!!!!!!

13/11/2025: An obligatory stop for anyone passing through Aci Castello or for anyone who simply wants to go, whenever they want, to eat well. Nice, family-run, very tidy and clean place located in the center of Aci castello. The Chef's cuisine embraces the Sicilian tradition, menu for all tastes with abundant dishes, particular and unforgettable flavours. He uses an excellent dough for the pizza which results very digestible with a very good seasoning (I took the Sbarretta, delicious). Very fresh fish dishes (I took one of their specialities, the "Ionian fried", with a crunchy pastry, fried fish and courgettes on a bed of SUPER salad!) DOC wines (the prosecco was excellent). I also had the opportunity to taste the Commendable first courses from the chef. The dessert was also very good, I took the hot heart, super soft and chocolaty. The cocktails prepared by qualified and very friendly professional barmen. Kind, helpful, hospitable staff, very professional, attentive to customer care and fast. The place allows also a recreational activity: "the game of chess". What can I say, an experience that I would do again and propose to anyone looking for a place where you can eat well at a good price with impeccable service in an enchanting place like Aci castello. Highly recommended!

16/11/2025: I stayed at their B@B, a very clean place with an amazing smell, the room was much larger than usual and considering this I wanted to try their restaurant... I did well, a very nice place, the mixed meat was very good and the pizza was exquisite and well-seasoned. The owners were also very kind... definitely a place to return to.

07/11/2025: I'll just comment on the restaurant, which is good for its location and service, but I'd rather put the food on the menu than the rooms. The food is good quality, made with fresh ingredients, the service is top-notch, and the location is great. In short, three indoor dining rooms plus a garden open in the summer make the Monte San Giuliano restaurant a comfortable place to spend your evenings enjoying good food. Chef Matteo Giurlanda, a member of the Italian Chefs Federation, has made the authenticity of his products his forte, combining fresh ingredients (just think of the fresh homemade pasta) with authentic Mediterranean flavors. He begins with traditional Trapani recipes and explores the flavors of the Mediterranean basin: oil, almonds, olives, pistachios, garlic, tuna products, and more.

23/10/2025: A simple stop on a gloomy day in Erice. Genovese with freshly made ricotta and Genovese with cream, delicious and crunchy! The pistachio coffee and pomegranate juice are delicious. The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming, just like the owners.

07/10/2025: Without a doubt, and after a week in Sicily, this is the worst and most expensive restaurant we've ever had. The pasta, which they sold as fresh, I highly doubt was fresh. Expensive dishes. They also charged us €3.50 for a bottle of water we hadn't ordered, and they didn't serve it to us.

09/11/2025: We wanted a porcini-based lunch, and before leaving the province of Ragusa, we searched online and found Osteria Il Porcino. We arrived and after a few minutes of waiting, accompanied by a good glass of wine with my wife, they accompanied us to the table. We ordered some fresh porcini-based appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The girls in the dining room are very kind and the food is a delicacy. If they were to ask us how you feel after this experience? Our answer would be: We feel like PORCHIni!!

09/11/2025: We were at this inn. The food was average, with very small portions. A ridiculous plate of mushrooms was overpriced. For the same quality, the price was truly outrageous. I don't recommend it at all.

26/10/2025: This restaurant was recommended by some local friends we met. Besides the beautiful location and the truly warm welcome, we had a wonderful meal! Fresh ingredients, refined, and incredibly delicious dishes, paired with recommended local wines. The experience was wonderful, highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back every time we visit Marsala.

19/10/2025: Not worth eating here the food is at best average mine was below average. Obviously cheap ingredients and no love in the kitchen but to be honest the pickings in Marzamemi are slim apart from the two Michelin recommended . The best part of this restaurant is the view the rest is below average don’t waste your money food is tasteless and tuna way over cooked. Totally over priced for what it offers

14/10/2025: A restaurant with a beautiful view, right on the sea. The "linguine gattopardo" (literally, "the leopard linguine") first course, with pistachio pesto and tuna bottarga, is excellent and unique. The cannoli are also delicious.
