22/10/2025: We arrived well ahead of our scheduled time, but despite this, and despite there being seven of us, we were greeted with great kindness and courtesy by the "hostess" (I call her that because it was like being her guests, not just customers). Given how early we arrived, a long wait would have been the least we could have expected, but instead, none of that happened; we were served in a very reasonable amount of time. As for the dishes they served (all of which were very popular), I can say that the ingredients used were incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. The combinations were spot on, and the food didn't taste at all of MSG (as is often the case in some restaurants), yet each ingredient retained its own flavor, lending each dish its own contribution to a pleasant harmony on the palate. The staff seemed very attentive and eager to accommodate our requests, and all of this happened with a packed restaurant! As for the bill, we paid a little below average for a seafood lunch, but I repeat, the quality was far superior. What more can I say? I think we'll definitely return to this welcoming restaurant in the future, and I recommend everyone reading this to try it. I returned with the same group of friends after two years due to COVID, which brought the entire world to a standstill. What more can I add to what I've already written? An old saying goes, "It can get worse." Well, if you come to Vincenzo, and return after a while, you'll discover that "it can get better" too. The staff is welcoming and attentive to your every need, and the dishes are always top-quality and in keeping with the best Sicilian tradition. The owner, despite the restaurant being packed with customers, carried out her duties as if she were in the privacy of her own kitchen, not failing to exchange jokes with us and other customers, a sign of a certain confidence in the trust she has in the dining room and kitchen staff. I confirm the five stars and regret not being able to add more. I thought I could stop here with my praise for this place, but instead I'm back to heaping praise upon praise. The location had already changed a few years ago, when they moved a hundred meters or so in the direction of Messina, but returning today with the same group as always, we discovered that the place has been completely renovated. We can certainly say that their passion for preparing the food, always delicious and using fresh ingredients, has also been reflected in the care with which they have furnished the rooms, making the restaurant a refined and welcoming environment. Nothing to add to the proverbial courtesy of the staff, from the lady to her son, attentive and quick to understand and interpret the customers' needs. Last but not least, Mr. Vincenzo is excellent, an excellent chef and creator of the always flavorful dishes served. It's a shame we can't give more than five stars, but they would all be well deserved! This place definitely deserves to be included among those you should visit often! I keep coming to this welcoming and peaceful place and feel right at home. The dishes are always top-notch, both in terms of flavor and freshness. The generous portions have become legendary. The waiters, Hamza among them, are also friendly and welcoming, but the others are no exception. The five-star rating has been confirmed again this year. Always well-deserved.

21/10/2025: We happened upon the restaurant by chance. The food is incredibly delicious, the pizza super light and freshly topped. The Sicilian starter (with mortadella, pistachios, and mozzarella) and the homemade tiramisu are also highly recommended. The staff speaks good English, and the owner is fluent in German. We highly recommend this visit and would gladly return! Mille grazie!!

11/11/2025: The food is rather below average, especially for Italy. It's a shame. They could really improve a lot if they had the motivation. But I suppose the tourists generate enough revenue to justify the low quality.

10/11/2025: Delicious very tasty food. Lasagna and linguine pescatore. Bruschetta and limoncello. Good service and friendly staff. Love that it’s down away from the main thoroughfare. Great atmosphere too!

29/08/2025: Had a bad experience here 2 years ago. Maybe it was the yeast, but I had a bad night visiting the bathroom a few times. To give it credit, I had a takeout recently which was fine after. Maybe it was just that one bad pizza. But I guess we all have to take our chances!

Attentive and fast service, topped off by a highly trained staff who are very kind and friendly. The pizza was one of the best I've ever had, delicious dough, high-quality ingredients, the menu is also very varied, and the staff is always ready to offer you plenty of suggestions. The menu features many delicious desserts! Highly recommended!!!!!!

27/10/2025: We stopped by for lunch on a Sunday in late September, sitting outside. Friendly service, a decent wait, but the dishes turned out to be more than delicious. Fettuccine with bacon and pistachios, and paccheri with octopus ragù. Followed by a Mediterranean grill... all delicious. We were very satisfied.

07/10/2025: Without a doubt, and after a week in Sicily, this is the worst and most expensive restaurant we've ever had. The pasta, which they sold as fresh, I highly doubt was fresh. Expensive dishes. They also charged us €3.50 for a bottle of water we hadn't ordered, and they didn't serve it to us.

01/11/2025: Not only did my husband and I return to this delightful restaurant, we went four times during our eight days in Taoromina. On our first night there, we sat beside a couple who said they had been there three times during their stay. The entire staff welcomed us back warmly we saw other familiar faces. Our meals were tasty and always satisfying. Anna was not only knowledgeable about Sicilian foods and wines, she came to know what our tastes were and happily made suggestions which introduced us to local new delights. We highly recommend dropping in.

31/10/2025: We had a tuna risotto appetizer. The seafood risotto was horrible. It tasted only of tomato, full of sand. When we told the waiter what had happened, he suggested redoing it because he thought the problem was the pepper. Re-made it without pepper, nothing changed. The tuna was raw! The oyster appetizer was good, but everything else was normal—in fact, for Sicily, it was even average-to-low!

The ambiance speaks for itself, and every detail tells its own story. Mauricio is the creative force behind the restaurant, and the service is impeccable. Our personal interaction with Mauricio was truly inspiring; thank you for that as well.

25/10/2025: Everything was very decent. A very pleasant atmosphere. Everything was quite sophisticated and delicious... We recommend it👍. We had a salad, risotto (I would call it more like paella), and sea bass... and taramisu for dessert. Everything was excellent.

23/10/2025: A simple stop on a gloomy day in Erice. Genovese with freshly made ricotta and Genovese with cream, delicious and crunchy! The pistachio coffee and pomegranate juice are delicious. The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming, just like the owners.

19/10/2025: The restaurant's reputation is overrated. The quality of the dishes is uneven: good eggplant rolls with ricotta, swordfish risotto is bland and not creamy. Too bad, the meal is expensive, especially since the 3 euro cover charge is exorbitant. Service is rushed because the restaurant caters to groups.

09/11/2025: We wanted a porcini-based lunch, and before leaving the province of Ragusa, we searched online and found Osteria Il Porcino. We arrived and after a few minutes of waiting, accompanied by a good glass of wine with my wife, they accompanied us to the table. We ordered some fresh porcini-based appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The girls in the dining room are very kind and the food is a delicacy. If they were to ask us how you feel after this experience? Our answer would be: We feel like PORCHIni!!

09/11/2025: We were at this inn. The food was average, with very small portions. A ridiculous plate of mushrooms was overpriced. For the same quality, the price was truly outrageous. I don't recommend it at all.
