26/08/2025: This place was awesome and reasonably priced. Just out of the main area (by like 30 seconds). Great vibes, incredible pasta (reminded me of tuscan pasta). Try the pork ragu and the pistachio ravioli and thank me later. Finished off with the salt crusted sea bass and it was also incredible. Best meals we have had here. Servers were awesome too. Great place.

26/08/2025: We went there during our vacation, what a disappointment. Uncomfortable location, overly salty food, poor service. Paid a lot for very average quality food.

01/09/2025: I visited for work with a colleague and found the place quite busy, which is definitely a positive sign. We were greeted with kindness and personality, and after perusing the menu, we asked the waiter for advice, who suggested some off-menu dishes. We also chose the pappardelle with black truffle, which had just arrived: we saw it with our own eyes as they were preparing it. A truly pleasant experience, made special by the care and quality of the products.

25/08/2025: **English below** ------------- My Monday lunch experience in brief: almost an hour's wait for three plates of overcooked pasta, despite there being about 15 people in total. Several dishes on the menu were only partially available or unavailable due to a lack of certain ingredients. Overall, the food tasted okay. The waiters were friendly. Pizza was unavailable at lunch. The place certainly doesn't deserve one star, but not more than three. I don't know if I'll return, but if I do, I hope to have a better experience. I'm attaching a photo of the seafood linguine, which was certainly a generous portion, but the sauce was completely runny (the consistency of water). Note that clams were unavailable (as were other ingredients), so I hope this is an exception and not the norm. It should be noted that in the absence of clams, an extra langoustine and mussels were added, which was at least a welcome gesture. -------------- My experience in a nutshell: a wait of almost an hour for three plates of overcooked pasta, even though only about 15 people in total were there. You can somewhat see this in the bottom part of the image, although it's not very clear - my bad for running away without taking any pictures after not even finishing the dish. I want to stress though that clams (clams) weren't available - like other ingredients - so I really hope the look of the dish is exceptional and not the norm. I must say that in the absence of clams, an extra scampo and some extra mussels were added, which was at the very least a thoughtful gesture. Oh and by the way I'm a local - I think it's worth mentioning it, just in case someone thinks that I'm a tourist and I know nothing about Italian cuisine.

29/08/2025: We spent a lovely evening with friends who invited us to an event. The staff was courteous and attentive. The location was beautiful and well-kept. The pizza in Norma was nothing special. At least not according to the menu chosen by our hosts. All in all, I would return to try other types of pizza; I'm sure they'll be good.

24/08/2025: Nice place, quick takeout service, but disappointing both with the pizza and the price. You can't pay €9.50 for a simple diavola, especially if the ingredients aren't high-quality. The dough hadn't risen at all, and you could taste the sweetness of the sugar used to speed up the process. Also, many pizzas were missing ingredients. The place seems nice, as does the staff. I think the food isn't up to par with everything else.

07/09/2025: Superb dinner! The place is welcoming, as is the highly trained staff. Excellent food...the pasta with sea urchins is superb, generous portions;). The place is also suitable for children. The owners are exquisite and very kind, and to top it off, a cellar of refined wines. We'll see you again soon.

02/09/2025: First courses, green gold, decent black cuttlefish, no fried food at all, 25 euros for goodness sake, tiny squid full of oil, 3 prawns, bitter squid, 15 euros for 4 cod meatballs with mayonnaise on top, I changed my mind

07/09/2025: I'd been to this osteria years ago, the first time I came to Modica, brought there by locals. This year I returned because I had fond memories, which I can confirm. Homemade cuisine, generous dishes, and local ingredients at affordable prices. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. It's close to the center, a short walk away, so easy to get to. I recommend it!

04/09/2025: Excellent food and service I ordered Sea bass (fresh catch of the day) with baked radicchio Marinated watermelon for dessert (truly unique. Must try) Nero diavola (black devil's wine) with a delicate flavor that paired perfectly with the fish The bitter reset, a surprise worth trying. The owner was very kind and helpful.

01/08/2025: Thanks to Nello's resourcefulness and suggestions, we thoroughly enjoyed dinner at "Al Monterosso" in Zafferana. Fresh, seasonal mushrooms (grilled, breaded, sautéed, raw with parmesan shavings and with cherry tomatoes and onions), classic bruschetta, and, to finish, a ricotta cannoli filled to order with a crunchy biscuit—delicious! Thank you, Nello, for your advice and professionalism, which is not always a given these days in Sicily.

25/07/2025: A great place where you can eat well, authentically, and with quality products. The empty plates brought back to the kitchen speak for themselves. I had the mezze dello chef, wow!!! Porcine mushrooms, real ones, and plenty of them. What a flavor, I loved it. My husband and son each had a pizza. And they had a hard time finishing it because it was so full. They loved it. I recommend it.

26/08/2025: Beautiful and very welcoming location. We reserved a table just an hour in advance and had to wait half an hour for it to become available, but while we waited, they seated us on comfortable chairs in the garden adjacent to the outdoor dining area. Fast and attentive service, with very friendly and helpful staff. All the food was excellent, but a special mention goes to the Pizza Pistacchiosa: a true delight! We hope to return soon.

09/08/2025: A very positive experience. I found the property clean and made you feel welcomed by the owner and staff. It's a quiet and intimate place, just steps from the sea.

31/08/2025: Restaurant was in a prime location with a sea view but the food falls completely short of standards. I ordered a shrimp and prawn based pasta dish with pistachio pesto. What came was a poor excuse for a dish with a mushy, bland sauce that did not resemble pesto in the slightest. Restaurant originally tried to charge us despite me sending the food back. Would not recommend, likely a tourist trap.

31/08/2025: I have been going to this pizzeria restaurant for three years, every year with great pleasure during my week on holiday in Cefalu. The staff is exquisite, the food is always fresh and delicious, everything is impeccable, and their very digestible pizza is not to be missed!

29/04/2025: Nous avons mangé chez Nni Lausta le lundi de Pâques et choisi le menu (45 e) : une mise en bouche déjà intéressante avec de l'espadon fumé et puis la déclinaison italienne classique : antipasti, pasta (raviolis au basilic, une tuerie), brochette de poisson, dessert. Sans entrer dans le détail : le raffinement des saveurs et des associations, toujours ancré dans la cuisine et les produits locaux font d'une visite chez Nni Lausta une expérience qu'on oublie pas et qu'on souhaite renouveler. La gentillesse de l'accueil, la qualité des attentions ne font que renforcer l'envie d'y retourner. Et pour couronner, les vins de l'azienda Caravaglio qui sont proposés à prix d'ami sont des pépites à découvrir pour tous les amateurs des vins des île siciliennes. Merci au chef, merci à Rosanna et Fabio et à leur équipe pour la cena du lundi de Pâques et pour la pranza de ce lundi 28 avril.

24/08/2025: The food here is absolutely excellent and delicious. We also spent our vacation at the La Bussola apartments. I highly recommend it. The owners are super friendly and wonderful hosts 😍 I would stay with them again whenever I visit my hometown, as long as the apartments aren't fully booked, of course, as they are in high demand.

30/05/2025: What to add… If you need to taste the passion for cooking, you are in the right place… The professionalism of the guys in preparing the dishes with food that is nothing short of excellent… The dining room staff is friendly, helpful, kind… Angelo and Emanuele make you feel at home, with their professionalism, they make you taste the dishes putting as already said passion in what they prepare.. We had dinner in three, choosing a series of tastings starting from the appetizer to the meat… What to say… Everything exclusively excellent…
