Although the location may appear dated and not particularly elegant, the focus immediately shifts to what really matters: the food and the service. The staff is exceptional, kind and attentive, always ready to recommend the best of the menu with a passion that shines through in every detail. The restaurant's true strength is undoubtedly the mushroom dishes. I ordered a pizza with very fresh porcini mushrooms, and their flavor was unmistakable, a sign of superior quality. The dough was good, but it was the mushrooms that made the experience unforgettable. Beyond the pizza, the staff's recommendations were invaluable for savoring other dishes where freshness and careful preparation are the key features. The quality of the products absolutely justify the value for money, even if it's not a cheap place. I highly recommend the "Al Monterosso" restaurant to anyone looking for authentic flavors and impeccable service, without over-emphasizing the decor. It's the ideal place for a tasteful evening.

Fresh fish, carefully prepared dishes, and authentic flavors: you can immediately taste the quality of the ingredients. Impeccable, attentive, and smiling service. But what's truly impressive are the details: spotlessly clean and fragrant bathrooms, even with hand cream available, and a bin under the changing table for both diapers and sanitary pads. Small touches that demonstrate great care for their guests. When quality meets kindness, the result is an experience that makes you want to return. And we definitely will! ⭐️🐟 me

The atmosphere was super pleasant. Despite it being summer and being packed, we were always well served here, with no waiting.

22/09/2025: Delicious pizza, top-quality ingredients. The Figata pizza is a cut above; the flavors of the different ingredients are clearly distinct, and they pair beautifully together. I don't have a particular note about the toasted bread pieces; you could find or improve the crunchiness even further, perhaps by revisiting the toasted bread or substituting it with toasted blanched almonds. Delicious fresh figs, excellent dough, very digestible; be careful with the honey; it plays a key role. A truly delicate and delicious pizza! Bravo!

16/09/2025: Truly incredibly delicious food. Very flavorful and exceptional. The pasta was excellent, and the panna cotta was a dream. I can definitely recommend it. The owner is very attentive and friendly.

04/09/2025: Excellent food and service I ordered Sea bass (fresh catch of the day) with baked radicchio Marinated watermelon for dessert (truly unique. Must try) Nero diavola (black devil's wine) with a delicate flavor that paired perfectly with the fish The bitter reset, a surprise worth trying. The owner was very kind and helpful.

11/10/2025: As the name suggests: lost flavors. Inexpensive cuisine with the tastes of yesteryear. Typical dishes made just like at home. I recommend booking. Very often full even out of season because the locals go there. For me, the best in Modica.

16/10/2025: We stopped at this traditional pizzeria for lunch and had a wonderful time. The pizza is thin-crust and the place is small, but the ingredients are top-quality, and the experience of watching it being prepared is truly unique. You can't imagine eating at an old-fashioned pizzeria and having Michelin-starred service at the same time. We had a wonderful time; I highly recommend this place for an authentic experience!
