29/08/2025: Had a bad experience here 2 years ago. Maybe it was the yeast, but I had a bad night visiting the bathroom a few times. To give it credit, I had a takeout recently which was fine after. Maybe it was just that one bad pizza. But I guess we all have to take our chances!

02/03/2026: My husband and I arrived at 18:30 PM on Monday and were told they were closed. However, all the staff were there and there wasn't a single guest. Google shows the wrong time.
23/02/2026: A very disappointing experience.
We ordered a peppered mussel dish, which turned out to be of poor quality: small and dry mussels. We had them changed, and the waiter replaced them without any problem, but the second portion was still barely adequate.
The grilled fish was the worst part of the dinner: extremely tough and inedible octopus, tiny prawns, and dry and tasteless squid. The swordfish roll was decent, but the rest of the dish was truly poor: four potatoes, a small sprig of lettuce, and a piece of salmon.
The portions were small and the quality didn't match the price.
What's especially disappointing is the total lack of attention from the owner.
I won't be returning.

08/03/2026: Surprise! While wandering the winding streets of Palermo, between sun and clouds, we came across this alkaline place teeming with people. There must have been a reason. The food was spectacular. We'll be back soon, hungrier and more organized.

We ordered two different meat menus and two different fish menus, and then we tried everyone's dishes. The four of us at the table had a very positive opinion; the dishes were truly tasty and generous.
09/02/2026: A simple, typically Italian restaurant with a very friendly, family atmosphere—you can tell many of the customers are regulars, friends, and local families.
The food is also simple and unpretentious: decent and enjoyable pizzas and pasta, nothing exceptional, but well-prepared. However, the salads were a bit of a letdown.
That said, overall it's a good place to eat, with fair prices and a welcoming atmosphere. A solid 4/5.

We shared a jug of local white wine and Classic Bruschetto 👌 We also had the vegetarian macaroni dish and it was yummy.

01/03/2026: I visited Osteria Dei Sapori Perduti and was truly impressed. The special appetizer was beautiful and prepared with authentic ingredients, with old-fashioned aromas that hark back to true tradition.
A special compliment to Oriana, who was very kind and professional. The service was impeccable. Highly recommended! 👏

For those who want to try deliciously flavorful dishes, this is the place to be! I was blown away by the perfection of the dishes and the kindness of the chef, incredible!

21/10/2025: We stayed (a group of motorcyclists) for two nights, half board. What can I say? In my opinion, everything was excellent. The rooms were well-maintained, especially the bathroom, which was perfect. No signs of limescale in the faucets or shower. The sea view was wonderful. Breakfast was generous and plentiful. Dinner was more than delicious. Our bikes were safely stored in the garage. Only a few people had to wait in the morning for their rooms, but I think it was due to previous guests leaving later than expected. That's understandable, but it doesn't alter my overall, more than positive opinion.
10/10/2025: I thank all the staff for their helpfulness and kindness... also for our breakfasts outside of regular hours with hot croissants and drinks at our disposal... the only flaw was the very low lights in the room.

09/01/2026: An institution. Unique, the quality of the ingredients is evident, and the attention to detail and cleanliness are testament to meticulous, disciplined work. The pizza dough is truly unique. Kudos to Massimo and the entire team. And if you happen to have to wait during peak hours, it's always worth it in the end.
12/11/2025: Delicious pizza, thin and dry dough despite the fior di latte mozzarella. Overall, the pizza is light and tasty.
Last but not least, you can't taste the yeast or fermented dough (which I've unfortunately found in many pizzerias). So what can I say? Excellent pizza, and above all, at super affordable prices.

21/10/2025: The "Santa Maria" bakery is a must-visit not only for its delicious homemade bread, baked daily by Mr. Iemmolo, but also for enjoying the delicious local biscuits. The highlight is undoubtedly the delicious impanatiglie, a typical Modica dessert.
We were greeted by Mr. Iemmolo's daughters, Grazia and Valentina, who were incredibly friendly, always smiling, and always ready to recommend the most tempting products.
