25/05/2025: What can I say? Absolutely stunning!! We visited last night for drinks and the staff were so amazing we went back for food and wine tonight. Staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was absolutely amazing. Never ever had a carbonara like it. We were going to go to try Osteria da Rita but thx manager was so rude we decided against it! A must must must visit in Taormina!! Thank you so much xxx

17/05/2025: Food was blah, the veal was tough and was simply a dry, thin piece of meat on a plate, no side, no garnish. It took them half an hour at least to run the bill after asking every employee and getting hateful looks, I guess they felt bad about the food, and I had terrible gas and diarrhea as soon as I got back to the house, they weren't busy, avoid

16/05/2025: Every single bite of food was DELICIOUS 😋 SIMPLY prepared with fresh ingredients. The service was outstanding. The waiter helped us pick wine and made great recommendations. You need to try this restaurant!!!! We love it.

10/05/2025: Nice resort above the Turkish scale, excellent cleaning, fairly complete breakfast with a wide choice. The only thing to improve was the TV in the room which was small and uncomfortable to watch from the bed and the water which pulsed as if there was always air in the pipes. For the rest everything is excellent.

16/03/2025: Cena perfetta in questo ristorante di pesce, dove le due coppie che eravamo, ci siamo trovati molto bene Il locale è semplice, ma curato e riservato, perfetto per una cena tranquilla. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, con un cameriere gentile e attento, capace di farci sentire a nostro agio senza mai essere invadente. Dopo averci consegnato i menu, ci ha anche suggerito i fuori menu, rivelandosi un ottimo consigliere. La scelta dei piatti è stata azzeccatissima: l’antipasto è stata una vera sorpresa, con panelle appena fritte abbinate a ricotta, nero di seppia e seppia, composte a strati ricordando una lasagna. Un mix di sapori inaspettato e perfettamente equilibrato! Il primo piatto, altrettanto delizioso (linguine ai bocconi), ha confermato l’alta qualità della cucina. Il conto assolutamente in linea con la qualità del cibo e del servizio. Un ristorante che merita di essere provato e consigliato!

15/02/2025: We chose Macchianera for Valentine's Day dinner, trusting in the quality of the service and cuisine that we had always appreciated in our previous visits. However, this evening's experience proved to be significantly below expectations. The order was taken within an acceptable time, but the wait for the first courses was excessively long, even though they were the same for both. This delay is in no way justifiable by the confusion in the room, considering the standard of the venue and the price paid. Furthermore, the staff appeared distracted and did not pay attention to details, further compromising the quality of the service. In the past, I remembered a clearly superior care in the explanation of the dishes, with an attentive and precise service, capable of enhancing the gastronomic experience. This evening, unfortunately, this was not the case: the presentation was summary, lacking the professionalism that makes a dinner special. The kitchen, which on other occasions had stood out for its care and attention in preparations, did not shine this evening. Although the raw materials were of good quality, the dishes arrived with considerable delay and without the attention to detail that we expected. Paying 70 euros each implies impeccable service and a top-quality dinner, but unfortunately this was not the case. Despite having had much better experiences in the past, this dinner left us dissatisfied. The place has always maintained a certain standard, but this time we can't say the same. We hope it was an isolated incident, but under these conditions, we don't think we want to return.

07/05/2025: Increíble cena. Fuera de los caminos trillados para Taormina y sabores absolutamente impresionantes. Morel carbonara fue 🤌🏼 y pulpo asado fue perfección.

07/05/2025: Absolutely delicious! We had the roasted octopus, carbonara with morels special, the filet and cannoli dessert. All of it was heaven and the staff warm and welcoming. Thank you for making our last night in Sicily a meal to remember 🫶🏼🤌🏼😍

27/03/2025: Da Ascanio De Gregorio la terra incontra il mare e crea il vino. Questa la prima impressione. Poi ci ripensi e ti accorgi che è il vino il filo rosso che lega tutto indissolubilmente alla bellezza del posto, attraverso i sentori balsamici del rosmarino delle siepi che, a volte impercettibilmente, altre in maniera più marcata, trovi nella loro produzione. Eleganza e qualità sono solo la cifra esterna dei piatti serviti, perché poi ciò che resta indelebile è ciò che avverti al palato e ti resta persistente, fino a quando un sorso del suo vino non pulisce il tutto per godere del prossimo boccone.

13/05/2025: It's such a beautiful place, with breathtaking views. Very friendly staff, clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast is great, and evenings' meals are abounded and superb.
