Giuseppe and his team handled even some last-minute changes brilliantly.
But their real strength lies in everything that happens once you're seated in the restaurant. Superb cuisine, a sensational wine list, and above all, outstanding service have made every single one of my visits here an exceptionally positive experience! Definitely make a reservation and try the tasting menu!

12/04/2026: This family restaurant was recommended to us by our BnB host. It sees very little tourist traffic. We went two days in a row at 8PM, and the place was mostly empty. By 9PM, it got packed with locals.
We went in looking for seafoods, and it delivered. Pasta with clams and mussels, pasta with tuna, risotto with seafood were all outstanding.
The price is also very reasonable, especially for it's portion.
07/04/2026: The service was first-rate; we felt very comfortable, and the waiters were quick and efficient. The dishes were excellent, and the prices were reasonable. It was a pleasant and delicious time.

18/05/2026: Excellent restaurant with typical Apulian dishes. The eggplant and mozzarella appetizer was more than enough for two people. The orriechete with polpete and tomato sauce was excellent. The homemade tiramisu was very good.
The restaurant's dining room is very pleasant with soft music and impeccable service.

07/06/2026: We visited this wonderful restaurant in the hilly area of Monopoli for Mother's Day and returned for a family Sunday. What can I say? Both times, the lunch was sublime: exceptional raw seafood, sublime fish, and the staff was professional, competent, and above all attentive. A special mention goes to Mr. Bartolomeo, the owner, a wonderful person, disarmingly kind. I absolutely highly recommend this corner of paradise.

15/05/2026: For starters, we had raw seafood, very fresh, a delight: langoustines, shrimp, mussels, and cockles. The seafood risotto had firm yet creamy rice, but we didn't really see any seafood in it—something to keep in mind in the kitchen 😉. We had a tasting of syrups/alcohol, which was interesting. Panna cotta with homemade syrup. And a very good wine recommended by the waiter.

24/04/2026: Wonderful food, even better service. I felt like I was in the movie Ratatouille; I wished the fairy tale character was cooking for me. I could feel the Italian atmosphere and observe how native Italians live and spend their time. Definitely yes!

30/05/2026: We booked for 9:30 PM and still had to wait to be seated. The service was very rushed and unresponsive, even though the wait for our dishes was quite long. Our two starters arrived after 11:00 PM (and at different times, too). The food was truly excellent; we would have liked to order main courses as well, but given the time and the kitchen, which seemed in a hurry to close, we decided against it. The bill was a bit high for the service we received, which definitely didn't match the quality of the food they serve.

12/06/2026: Out of curiosity, given its fame and social media buzz, I went there on Sunday evening. Nothing negative, in fact, you can tell from the first bite that the ingredients are excellent, the cuisine excellent, and the service really fast and satisfying. The only thing that left me surprised (but not disappointed) was that I expected a thinner pizza, more "Barese-style," but instead it was slightly thick and overcooked.
10/06/2026: I'm referring to the stand in Torre Quetta. It was a truly disappointing experience. The staff, including the owner and pizza chef, were extremely rude and impolite, which completely ruined the atmosphere. The food was decent, but nothing special, certainly not enough to make up for the staff's behavior. I had to wait an hour for a pizza, with no explanation or courtesy. I strongly advise against this place: there are many better pizzerias, both in terms of quality and service. Unlike the kiosks next door, where the service is impeccable and the kindness is a given.
