27/03/2024: What a disappointment! Summary: conditions of the menu that are too binding and not declared, under "coperto" there is a course of bread, taralli with tasting of oil but it is not as personal as the word coperto suggests: 2 mini baskets of bread and 2 jars of oil for 7 people. Quantity of pieces for one of the desserts not declared. Grumpy and piqued tone of the waiters. The person who received the payment (maybe the owner) extremely unhelpful and annoying. __________ Seven friends, we choose the place because of excellent reviews on the goodness of the spaghetti and this will remain the only positive note. The spaghetti is good, very good... but everything else is not. Simple and friendly booking even from unconventional channels (we booked via Instagram chat). Table ready immediately upon arrival. We sit down and choose. The 4 men choose the tasting route (starters + first course + dessert) and the 3 women opt for the first course only. WATER BOTTLES: water in reusable bottles, filled on site by a microfiltered device. In short, what abroad is called Tapwater and which is free but here costs like champagne in a very small format. ***the waiter rejects our request: the tasting itinerary is binding for the entire table and cannot be chosen personally by just one diner, it is written on the menu*** There is no sign of this on the menu. The constraint of having to eat something pre-established leads the consumer to react badly to this constraint, restaurateurs... and so no one took the starters but only the first course. You lost money, we lost the desire to go back. THE FIRST: all the guests agree on the goodness of the first courses, correctly weighed and "just right", balanced flavours, excellent quality of the spaghetti, almost certainly bronze drawn and excellently cooked. HERE TOO A CONSTRAINT: how can you impose only 3 types of first courses on a table of 7 people? Upon remonstrating, the waiter gave us 4 choices... but such a constraint is unthinkable. SWEETS: no problem if, compared to the dessert menu, we are informed that some are sold out, it happens, understandably. The problem is that here too there is A CONSTRAINT: one of the desserts is ONLY in a 4-piece portion. Not separable. THE BILL: correct price, nothing to say. Yet another problem comes when we show up at the counter, we place the bill on the counter but the person at the register ignores us, doesn't speak, doesn't ask how it went, doesn't ask if we had a good time but says a few words after a few minutes with a smile idiot on the face "stay here in front and no one tells me what to do... and I don't say anything". Gentlemen, this is not how catering is done. You are good at making spaghetti... but catering is a journey, an experience, a pleasure: things that are absent in your restaurant and take away the desire to come back to visit you.
