11/03/2025: One of the best restaurants during our Puglia trip. The grilled fish dish was fantastic with delicious fried potatoes. We were advised a fantastic rose wine. For dessert a delicious pannacotta. Very friendly staff. Very nice clean place. Just outside the tourist hustle and bustle of Monopoli. We were staying in a B&B nearby, but I would certainly have taken a detour. It's been a long time since we had such a good meal. Price/quality is a big 10!

29/01/2025: Beware this place and do not come to eat here! The main manager on 27 January 2025 was an incredible unpleasant person. He refused to serve us when the restaurant was half empty because just wanted some desserts and coffees. I suspect though that the main reason is we were not Italians! I never experienced anything like that in my life and strongly discourage anyone to support this restaurant by visiting it and paying them for food.

28/01/2025: We ordered a bufalina pizza and a pasta with potato and provolone. The truth is that it was very delicious and very abundant. Pretty good quality-price ratio. It is a recommendable site. I think they have very good cuisine and good products. The menu is abundant.

22/12/2024: I chose Villa Menelao for my wedding and, if I could go back, I would choose it a thousand more times. Stunning location, attention to every detail with wonderful Christmas decorations. Excellent dining room staff, knowledgeable and attentive to all guests' dietary needs. Very high quality food. The staff who assisted us in the preparations were formidable, patient and, moreover, able to give us the best advice. I would like to say a few words for Director Martino: friendly and extremely professional, very present, never intrusive, you were very important on our wedding day, you looked after us and pampered us like we never would have thought.

24/02/2025: Un tempo amato, ora deludente. La location, un tempo fiore all'occhiello, è ora trascurata, con dettagli che gridano di datato. La cucina, un tempo rinomata, è ora priva di anima, con piatti anonimi e ingredienti di qualità discutibile. Un vero peccato. Gradevole il crudo mare ma ormai lo mangi benissimo ovunque!

12/03/2025: I ate at this restaurant last month and was pleasantly surprised. Traditional dishes with a touch of innovation and modernity. The flavors are appreciable but, at the same time, everything is very delicate and balanced. The room is welcoming and clean. The speed of the service and the kindness of the staff complete it. I can't wait to go back!

20/03/2025: Unfortunately there is only one person at the reception, 25 minute wait for check in. Empty minibar without even a snack. Average temperature very low both in the room and in the restaurant as in the whole hotel. At breakfast half of the guests keep their coats. Reported several times to the reception they pretend to do something making fun of me. A terrible experience. The other times it didn't seem so bad to me. Has the management changed by any chance?
