20/05/2026: Finally, the first good restaurant I found in the region. There are so many restaurants but many are very touristic and food is mediocre.
The food here was delicious and tasted fresh and flavorful. Service was warm. A place I would come back to if I lived in the area. It can become a long meal if you order many courses as it’s run by a small team. We had nowhere else to be though and enjoyed the experience. Try to make a reservation to avoid disappointment! Or come early at opening and hope for a last minute table.
18/05/2026: The lady who welcomed us was very kind and welcoming. The octopus with zucchini alla poverella was truly delicious. 🔝 Excellent experience.

05/05/2026: Small place with just an outdoor terrace. You can enjoy various drinks and eat some cold cuts and cheeses with bread. So, it's a nice place to have a drink and a snack while gazing at the tourists walking by.

04/06/2026: A lovely spot in Monopoli. We ordered orecchiette with seafood and rigatoni with octopus. As a welcome, we received a small appetizer of tomato bruschetta and bread polpette. Nothing extraordinary, but a nice touch.
The food seemed authentic and the dishes were good. It's an excellent option for a simple, relaxed local lunch. The service is laid-back and the atmosphere is peaceful. A great place to discover the cuisine of Puglia.

07/06/2026: We visited this wonderful restaurant in the hilly area of Monopoli for Mother's Day and returned for a family Sunday. What can I say? Both times, the lunch was sublime: exceptional raw seafood, sublime fish, and the staff was professional, competent, and above all attentive. A special mention goes to Mr. Bartolomeo, the owner, a wonderful person, disarmingly kind. I absolutely highly recommend this corner of paradise.

15/05/2026: For starters, we had raw seafood, very fresh, a delight: langoustines, shrimp, mussels, and cockles. The seafood risotto had firm yet creamy rice, but we didn't really see any seafood in it—something to keep in mind in the kitchen 😉. We had a tasting of syrups/alcohol, which was interesting. Panna cotta with homemade syrup. And a very good wine recommended by the waiter.

14/07/2026: Reunion with fellow sommeliers, excellent location overlooking the sea, a setting suitable for any occasion. Excellent appetizers, raw seafood, and first courses. Excellent selection of still and sparkling wines, beautifully presented and explained by Vito. We overdid it with a 3.5kg grouper, half with mezzé paccheri and the other half roasted, truly delicious. We overdid it with the sparkling wine, but in the end, we are... sommeliers. 🤷🏽♂️

The only downside is that their products are so good they're addictive... Be careful...
We ordered 6 focaccias to take on the plane the day before, and everything was ready at the appointed time, and they packaged everything very carefully for our flight.
Whether you're passing through Monopoli or even if you're not, it's a must-stop!

26/07/2026: Everything was fresh and delicious! The raw seafood platter was excellent and generous, and the gratinated mussels, tagliolini with scampi, and more were fantastic.
The service was very friendly and professional, with a special mention for Onofrio, who served us with extreme kindness.
The location was unbeatable, with a terrace overlooking the sea! We'll definitely be back.
