Pizzeria Casa Pinto In Locorotondo

A very nice restaurant. The pizza is one of my all-time top 5, highly recommended.

We had a terrific evening here. The pizza was delicious (we had 4 different types), and a superb local white wine recommended by the waiter (who had worked at a vineyard and knew local wines). For dessert we had an excellent homemade tiramisu, followed by the best limoncello - homemade - I have ever had. There is also a digestif “amaro alle erbe” that is homemade, also excellent. Our waiter was friendly and informative despite how busy the restaurant was.

During the Christmas holidays, I went to Locorotondo to see the famous Christmas lights, which have attracted more and more tourists over the years. Once we'd finished the tour, we naturally decided to stop for something to eat, and we decided to go to Pizzeria Casa Pinto because it was recommended by friends. I must say, it was a great choice. The location is enviable, right in the center of the alleys where the lights are displayed. It consists of a very characteristic main room and a separate room on the first floor of a building. This second room is unique in that it isn't completely closed off from the outside, so during the colder months, despite the presence of heaters, it might not be suitable for everyone. The menu is good, with a decent selection of pizzas, especially with pizzas that are different from the usual ones. Very fast service and friendly staff. The pizzas aren't classic Neapolitan pizzas, but rather Roman-style, with crispier, less airy edges. They rose well, offered an interesting variety of doughs, and were easy to digest, which we particularly appreciated. The price wasn't particularly high considering the location and the busy time of year. I think it's advisable to book because we arrived just before opening time and almost didn't get a seat.

Excellent pizzeria! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The pizzas are superb. A real gem tucked away on a side street! Highly recommended.

Typical atmosphere, very good pizza and very fast service, everything excellent

It's a very pleasant place to visit. Upon entering, you can see the decor and the warm, inviting atmosphere. The two waiters who served us were very friendly and explained the different pizza options. Both the Casa Pinto and the Assetuet pizzas were delicious, and we received them very quickly, fresh from the oven. The prices are quite reasonable, although you should be aware that they charge three euros per person, per cover charge. We've seen this in several restaurants in Italy. I can only say positive things about this place, and honestly, considering the price, quality, and excellent service, I would definitely return. It's a great choice to eat here if you're visiting Locorotondo.

Very nice place and excellent staff. The only downside is that paying €3 per person for a cover charge in April seems excessive.
