31/03/2024: We went to this place for lunch on Easter Sunday and had a truly terrible experience. The starter with octopus, prawn and lobster salad was acceptable, nothing special. Then the tomato flan arrived cold. The first follows, we were served 3 paccheri (in number), then we were served an artichoke risotto which had absolutely no artichoke flavour. Then the second one arrived and here we had a terrible experience with the dining room staff, extremely slow and also called back by other customers. We asked to speak to the owner who never showed up, in the end we asked for the meat which arrived after a long time and was inedible. It felt like eating cardboard without salt. We complained to a waitress who ignored us and here too the owner didn't ask us for explanations. Those of us who tasted the sea bream slice said that it tasted like that of findus. Too bad, the place is really nice

06/04/2024: Excellent restaurant in the historic center of Polignano. Very nice location, very attentive service and fish menu with a decent choice. Prices commensurate with quality. Definitely a place to return to when in the area. Polignano, like all of Puglia south of Bari, is now full of tourist traps. As a native of Puglia, I'm happy that there are still people like Mr. Fabio who does his job in a professional manner, which is the only way to last over time.

31/03/2024: We booked a lunch table for 4 for Easter more than 25 days in advance specifically asking for an optimal situation, shortly afterwards the owner called us describing the place very carefully. We called in the morning to confirm our arrival. Upon our arrival, the table was very slightly misaligned with the seats, probably because the long table nearby had been enlarged at the last moment. But the problem would also have been overcome if the owner's son had not responded to our dissatisfaction with presumption, rudeness, arrogance and lack of work experience, given his young age. Given the rise of unpleasant tones towards us as customers, we preferred to leave and not have lunch. Dear restaurateur, teach your son education and respect for customers who are the source of his fair income. Please don't apologize, there is no need, we know the hospitality of your colleagues from Puglia. From your answer I understand…. like father Like Son. A pear tree makes pears.

24/03/2024: Lunch on a Sunday in March. If you get the right table there is a beautiful sea view (only a visit because the restaurant does not directly overlook the sea but the square below). The problem is getting to the right table. Even though we had arrived with the room completely empty and on the phone we had specified a table with a sea view, to our request the friendly waiter replied that first come, first served (?!) and made us sit in the corner with the sea behind us. We would later understand that it was a place full of regulars so everyone had their usual assigned seats. Okay. As for food, the menu is very varied. The usual friendly waiter, however, forces us to order everything immediately, without first perhaps taking an appetizer and a first course and then figuring out whether to take the second course. Result? We only ordered a first course and we missed them because we would have liked something else. As for the wine, we were brought a bottle with a different label from the one indicated on the menu but in this case too we were hastily told that "it's the same wine" so in this case too it's okay. The place is nice and the food isn't bad. Maybe we had a bad day.

24/03/2024: Very kind manager and staff. Fantastic raw. First courses (all) rather disappointing. I do not recommend tasting it (in my opinion a little too overpriced) due to the first courses and the missing second course. However I repeat, all the staff were very helpful and quick.

04/04/2024: We had Easter lunch with my wife and, frankly, we will never return! A disproportionate quality/price ratio for what you ate; two starters, two first courses, two desserts and 1/2 bottle. of wine, €170! A first course with sea urchins...but only with the lure of seafood! For a starter of raw seafood (2 scampi, 2 prawns, 1 cut cuttlefish and 1 red mullet tartare), ask for €74, absolutely exorbitant! The generic menu, which shows the cost per piece or per weight, is an expedient to arrive at uncontrollable figures that cannot be taken into account when ordering! Let's not talk about toilets with limited spaces and doors that don't close!

02/04/2024: I went there for lunch alone a few years ago because I was in Polignano for work... premise: excellent quality of food... however... 2 plates of starters, a first course, a fried dish and 2 glasses of wine... for the modest sum of 85 euros!! Judge for yourself 😂😂 at least if you want to fleece someone, do it with tourists, not with people from Bari 😉 simply theft

04/04/2024: The best wine bar we've been to in puliga; brilliant wine and cheese and meat board. Lovely guy serving us who had exceptional knowledge on the wine!

30/03/2024: We loved this hidden gem! We sat for a glass of wine at the counter and ended up staying for 3, chatting with Tomasso. He is great! The cheeses and meats are not to be missed. We had to take some home for ourselves. It’s the local vibe that you should be searching for.

03/03/2024: Yesterday, accompanied by my brother, we decided to have our first experience in a starred restaurant. it was a mystical experience because being the first time, we really didn't know what to expect but the expectations we had created as soon as we entered the restaurant were greatly exceeded. As soon as we entered there was a very graceful, soft air with an energy that only a fantastic place with a view of the sea can give you. At the entrance we found the restaurant manager who, together with his colleagues, guided us during this experience and explained to us the reason why certain dishes were paired with certain wines (all of which was clearly in the spirit of discovery because we didn't know much about it. Initially I had the classic belief of "leaving the restaurant with an empty stomach", as many people say but in reality, following the philosophy and the steps we left full but above all overwhelmed by a feeling of pure satisfaction. For people who are meticulous and attentive to detail, you can look for attention to detail in everything (from pet-friendliness, to the impeccable care of the bathrooms and the elegant service provided at the tables). To tell the truth, when we got to the end, it was pleasant even paying for dinner for the service they offered us because it gave us unique emotions

28/02/2024: Nothing to complain about the environment and the dishes, but bleeding the customer, especially foreigners, by charging 130 for two bottles of wine which costs 15 euros per bottle is a real theft. A bad presentation card, certainly customers who will never come back .
