13/07/2026: Terrible home delivery service.. More than once booked at a certain time, never punctual, in fact after waiting over an hour they even make fun of you, systematically saying "he's about to ring the doorbell".

16/08/2026: I don't like giving a bad review, but... first and last time. The service was professional, to say the least, but there's still a long way to go. After the appetizer, no one bothered to clear away dirty plates. Crostini, stale bread, 2 tomatoes, arugula that smelled from the plastic bag. No flavor. The first course was even worse. Go somewhere else.

10/06/2026: I have to say that after reading the reviews and actually being there for a 5 day stay, I was expecting the worst. We chose to stay at the hotel because we had a car and wanted easy parking access that’s very difficult to get when in central Bari. The hotel was actually nice. The rooms we stayed in were all lovely and clean. They had separate bathrooms and separate toilet. The ceiling was really high and there was AC. The bed was also comfortable. Breakfast was included in our rate and you can expect to see: croissants (savoury & sweet), fresh cakes, cereals, nuts, dried and fresh fruit, tea/coffee and there’s an menu where you can order eggs, cheese, tomato, pancakes and bacon for example. Michele is the main waiter who serves the guests and he was really polite and professional. He respects guests and remembers what we ordered :) The hotel are lucky to have him and we thank him for his kindness.

12/07/2026: Unfortunately, following the advice of those who had already been there, we booked this restaurant. The location is beautiful, but the rest is all to be reviewed. The appetizer arrived but since there were two of us, one immediately and the other after 20 minutes. From 8pm to 10pm we only had the two first courses, spaghetti with clams that were floating in the water (clams without shells) and the same spaghetti with mussels and clams. The taste was not bad but they were too floating. All the customers were poisoned by the biblical times. In the end, we left and paid for what we had consumed (we gave up on the second course given the times). The waiters tried to apologize but it's not their fault, perhaps the management made a mistake. It's a shame because the location is beautiful.

09/07/2026: Although I didn't sit down to eat, I urgently needed to use the restroom. I politely asked for permission, but they refused, saying that they would open in 15 minutes and that they were cleaning the place. Personally, I didn't find the explanation convincing and I felt that they simply didn't want to serve someone who wasn't a customer. I understand that every business has its own policy, but in a case of real need, I expected a little more understanding and humanity. This particular experience left a very negative impression on me.

04/07/2026: Offered as per the menu advertised so emphatically on social media... and you find yourself enjoying a platter of supermarket cured meats (some of fairly mediocre quality) on the sidewalk of a fairly busy street. Plain rice with traces, but traces of perhaps "buttata" (a typical dish), crispy guanciale (or at least that), and baked zucchini slices. Sliced ​​steak weighing perhaps 100 grams, objectively tasty, but certainly not the thickness of a tagliata you'd typically expect. All this for a price that seems to be advertised as promotional, but it's not. All this topped off with an interminable wait for three courses.

27/06/2026: I ordered home delivery for 8:30 PM. After waiting a good ten minutes, I called to ask if the order had been shipped and was told it was about to leave. I called back 25 minutes later because the order still hadn't arrived and was told the delivery guy would leave in a few minutes. In short, the food arrived an hour late, but the worst thing was the mockery of the staff.

21/08/2026: Food was fine! The very young waitresses tried their best to provide good service. The local wine was also fine.

21/08/2026: We waited 25 minutes before our order was taken. The man taking orders was completely clueless. It's expensive for the amount of food on our plates. We asked for a second plate to share the children's meal. We're still waiting... I don't recommend stopping at this one.

25/08/2026: For the money he asks you 60 per person we ate 1 shrimp each 1 mussel each a spoonful of seafood salad 1 meatball then a first course paccheri clams and scampi shame that on the plate only 2 clams but really two wine only water 240 euros never again for 4

01/01/2026: I was there today, January 1, 2026. I don't want to comment on the food. (Not good.) The service (now I'll tell you about my experience and that of the table next to us). We asked for a second dish (the only decent one we could eat) several times and no one paid attention to us. However, at some tables at the back of the room, they brought us double the dish for everyone, because you could see they were friends. At a certain point, we asked for it and pointed out that at some tables they had double dishes and we were told that that dish was sold out. My daughter had the children's menu and for the entire service she was given a slice of cooked ham and a mozzarella. So I wonder. These things happen all the time, only in the South. If you know people, you eat well, otherwise they treat you like a number. The only special mention goes to the waiter Stefano: good, attentive, and very good. We won't be returning.

28/10/2025: Not very busy at the end of October. We ordered pizza and red wine. We were given an English menu. The wine was deliciously dry, the pizza was deliciously crispy. Nice place. I recommend it. I don't know what it would be like in high season. They charge a service fee.

09/04/2026: We have spent 3-4 hours here for a great puglian cooking class. Roberto and his mother Annamaria teached us how to make several dishes and a proper Focaccia! We really enjoyed the time here and learned a lot!

07/05/2026: A truly magical evening at Goffredo restaurant at Corte Alta Villa! The setting is stunning — all stone, with a beautiful view. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and attentive, with staff taking wonderful care of us throughout the evening. I opted for the seafood tasting menu and was not disappointed — fresh and generous seafood, beautifully crafted dishes that were as pleasing to the eye as they were to the palate. A true celebration of local Puglian flavours. An address I would recommend without hesitation for an unforgettable evening. We will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jenny
