24/08/2025: We ate very well: the dishes were plentiful and carefully prepared, with excellent value for money. The staff was friendly and helpful, always attentive to our requests. The service was quick and efficient. The location also deserves a mention: both the interior and exterior are welcoming and well-maintained, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

24/12/2025: Restaurant in a closed alley in the historic area of Minervino Murge, built within ancient walls. House appetizers and first courses with local orecchiette and mushrooms, second courses of mixed meats (good even though I eat very little), desserts and house wine, bread and taralli. October 26th is the cardoncello mushroom festival.

The staff's friendliness and kindness is so spontaneous and natural that it's surprising.
31/12/2025: Disappointing experience and total lack of flexibility
Unfortunately, due to a sudden bout of the flu (through no fault of our own), we were unable to enjoy the €400 package we booked. Despite prompt communication and an explanation of the situation, the hotel showed no willingness to find an alternative solution, such as a rescheduling for another night.
The result was the total loss of the amount paid, with no understanding or attention to the customer. We understand the policies, but we would have expected greater flexibility and common sense in the face of a documented health issue.
This is not a customer-friendly approach that leaves us feeling deeply dissatisfied. We will not return and we cannot recommend this property.

27/12/2025: We had a wonderful three hour lunch at Il Grottone. The fresh seafood platter and the prawn tartare were superb. We ordered two type of seafood pasta, both amazing. Followed by a seabream with grilled vegetables. We couldn't stop eating, so we also ordered a grilled octopus. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!!

14/01/2026: Terrible experience. The food was good, but the waitresses and other staff were extremely unhelpful. There was zero friendliness or customer service. They were shouting at each other. The waiter explained the dishes to us with displeasure. They tried to clear our table before we'd finished, never offered dessert, and refused to give us an itemized bill. I pointed this out to the person who took our payment, and he practically barked at me. Unpleasant people.
13/01/2026: We sat down for dinner at 8:30 pm. From the moment we sat down, the waitress was rushing us to order. We asked her a question about a dish, and she answered rudely. Before we had even finished eating, they wanted to clear our plates. When we left, we told them the service was terrible, and three or four people started yelling things at us in Italian that we didn't understand. The place was a disaster. I've been to more than 30 Italian cities, and this was the worst restaurant in Italy!
The food is acceptable, but with such bad service, it's not worth going back to this place. Many restaurants have good food and treat people like people!
