We went there for the first time last night and I have to say we had a great time. The place is beyond words, simply enchanting, but the food and service are also worthy! It's a simple style, the dishes as they used to be made, without too much embellishment but AUTHENTIC AND GOOD. So if you're looking for something spectacular, I wouldn't recommend it, but if you want to eat a quality product with a simple selection, this is the right place.

Very well prepared, fresh, exquisite dishes, compliments, all with a wonderful view of the sea and you can really smell the sea scent.

Came here after getting engaged on the rocks beside the restaurant. Staff were amazing. Catered to our family with multiple allergies. Will forever be a special place to us, thank you!

We had a wonderful three hour lunch at Il Grottone. The fresh seafood platter and the prawn tartare were superb. We ordered two type of seafood pasta, both amazing. Followed by a seabream with grilled vegetables. We couldn't stop eating, so we also ordered a grilled octopus. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!!

03/11/2025: We were there on November 1st, 2025. Due to the holiday, many places, including this one, were closed. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot give a review of the food and service, but we found the grounds absolutely beautiful.
20/07/2025: The food was good, but the service wasn't. The wine and water were brought to the table long before the main course, and the rest of the drinks arrived after the appetizers, after several requests. Since not everyone drinks wine, the guests settled for water. A real shame, because the location and food were excellent.
