13/03/2026: We were disappointed with this restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant, small and cozy, but that's where the positives end. We ordered a local white wine... I've never had such a bad wine, it was rancid, the worst kind... I ordered seafood soup and got a bowl of mussels in their own sauce. As for the seafood, there were two shrimp heads in it, and that was the end of the seafood... I was hoping for a second course. Sea bass with vegetables... literally a dish for a small child. Zero spices, everything souce. Two small, thin fish fillets, covered with thin slices of carrot and, I think, zucchini, with a few thin strips of carrot and some other vegetable on the side. That was the end of the €15 meal...

13/04/2026: Outstanding starter - freshly backed focaccia bread with a unique spread as well as the pizza 🍕 it was delicious 😋 Service was nice and fast. The restaurant is on the Main Street. You may sit indoor, or outdoor. This restaurant has an AC. Cost is a little on the higher end.

18/04/2026: We enjoyed it so much that we went here twice, as we rarely do. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can sit outside to soak up the atmosphere of Italian life. As for the food, I highly recommend the Simba pizza. They didn't skimp on the toppings, and the dough was perfectly kneaded. The chicken salad was also excellent. Highly recommended.

Don’t let the alleyway and side entrance fool you — this place is incredibly spacious, with enough seating for even a large wedding party both inside and out. The atmosphere is charming, authentic, and full of character. The staff was amazing from start to finish — warm, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. There are plenty of options on the menu to suit just about anyone’s taste, and the fresh, handmade pasta dishes were outstanding. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. We ended up spending about two hours here while waiting out the rain, and never once felt rushed. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy a great meal, and soak in the experience. Highly recommend La Locanda del Gallo for a sit-down lunch, dinner, or even just a cold drink. Here’s a slightly more enthusiastic version too, in case you want it to sound even stronger: La Locanda del Gallo was an absolute gem.
