23/05/2025: The restaurant has a spartan structure even if on the sea but very spartan, the service terrible. The waiter left the can I gave to my dog on the chair next to me for the whole lunch without taking it away after I asked him kindly he continued to leave it there, the linguine with clams is not fresh pasta it costs €18 I would say a lot especially because it was four small forkfuls, the glass of wine five euros was barely the bottom of the glass, as a welcome they brought some black olives and some popcorn chips with a basket of bread with some taralli and honestly I was full with those because I ate very little and badly, the spaghetti was not even worth €18, I complained to the waiter when he asked me how it was and while I was complaining about the fact that there was very little what they had put on my plate he took the olives and the bread and the corn chips from under my hands, I complained and after he had piled them one on top of the other together with those of the other tables on his tray he put them back on the table, pouring them on me rudely, to make up for my complaining about the scarcity of the dish they brought me a small tray with slices of cucumber and carrots quite dry not cleaned at the moment, the whole thing came to € 31 for what I ate it is shameful and above all for how I was served, I will never go there again. I advise anyone against going there the prices are very high keep in mind that the dish I had was the one that cost the least! Some restaurateurs should kiss the ground for what they have and instead they have no desire to work and want to earn three times what they produce and what they offer honestly I was wrong not to go again instead to Torre Caffe where I feel great every time I go, there are haute cuisine dishes and they also cost less the place is much more beautiful and refined with nice jazz music and the service is much more accurate and clean the dishes are more abundant and the fish is very fresh!

25/05/2025: Wonderful place, the real Italian atmosphere. The dishes are delicious, we ordered ravioli with meat and glass of local wine, we paid 22 €, tip is included. Inside is rather titghtly. Fully recommend.

La cucina della Masseria Garrappa è semplicemente sublime: ogni piatto racconta una storia, con presentazioni curate come vere opere d’arte. La pizza, leggera e fragrante, è una delle migliori mai assaggiate. Ma il vero capolavoro è stato il primo ai crostacei: un’esplosione di gusto, equilibrio e freschezza che lascia il segno. Un’esperienza culinaria da ricordare e assolutamente da ripetere.
30/03/2025: We stayed here for 3 nights. Great and warm welcome by Anna. The room we picked was a bit small for all of our luggage but thats not the Masseria’s problem😅. The room was clean and nice. The heater worked perfect. I loved the shower.
The breakfast and dinner was the best. I’ve had the best pizza here!
I hope you will open a few pitches for a caravan between the olive trees so I can come visit again but then with my caravan😉.

26/04/2025: Consiglio questo ristorante al 100%... Siamo stati per il pranzo del 25 Aprile con la mia famiglia. Abbiamo potuto gustare cibi tradizionali di alta qualità. Porzioni abbondanti. Cibo ottimo e di bellissimo aspetto. Personale sorridente, gentile e professionale. Parcheggio sicuro e non a pagamento. Vista immersa nella natura meravigliosa.
La titolare è molto gentile e super disponibile. Prezzo tranquillo. Torneremo al più presto.

08/03/2025: Mediocre, la mesa estaba sucia. No se ofreció sopa de miso. Pagué más de 300 kr para mí y mi hijo, ambos quedaron hambrientos. No puedo recomendar.
10/11/2024: Pizza buonissima. Ho preso una pizza con impasto classico, ma con piccola aggiunta si può prendere anche un impasto differente.
Ci sono anche le scrocchiarelle, ma ovviamente il prezzo sale un po'....
Dispone di posti all'aperto per serate estive.
Peccato che il locale interno non sia molto grande, e siccome sicuramente ci tornerò avrò cura di prenotare per tempo.
Piacevole anche aver trovato una cameriera gentilissima! Prezzi nella norma. Consigliato.

26/04/2025: Panzerotti ordered and paid for at 7pm for delivery at 8.45pm were delivered to me at 9.15pm after having complained twice. And when I complained they even looked at me as if I was wrong.
Furthermore, I don't know if it was done on purpose because of the complaints but the panzerotti were almost charred.
In my opinion it is not their job to deal with customers, it is not the way to behave.
As far as I'm concerned I will never use this place again.
Coming to Gioia after years away for work reasons, I just wanted to eat a good panzerotto, but I wasn't given the chance by these gentlemen.

30/03/2025: If you walk 2-3 minutes to the left along the main street before entering the Trulli Zone in Alberobello, you will see it on your right.
This is a representative restaurant in Puglia that continued to receive one Michelin star for many years until a few years ago.
Recently, the restaurant has been divided into a Ristorante and an Osteria, and you can choose whichever you prefer.
At the Osteria, you can enjoy traditional Puglia dishes such as orecchiette in a casual setting, and at the Ristorante, you can enjoy traditional Puglia dishes with a modern twist.
Of particular note is the wine, which boasts one of the best collections in Italy.
Definitely a restaurant worth visiting in Alberobello.
They are understanding of Japanese people and the service is excellent!

Cima di rapa orecchiette at the Osteria. There are two entrances in the same building, so choose whichever you prefer.
There are much fewer Japanese people in Alberobello than there used to be. This is a rare restaurant that is just right for Japanese tastes and stomach capacity.

11/05/2025: What a disappointment. A robbery.
Normally when a place disappoints me, I pay and never return. I don't like writing negative reviews, but yesterday we were scammed by "I due ghiottoni", a former famous restaurant in Bari, and our disappointment deserves to be expressed. There were four of us at dinner and we ordered a platter of local cheeses for €15 from the menu and, at the waiter's insistence, also a selection of dairy products (€12). Then 4 portions of “assassina” (not on the menu), 2 desserts, a limoncello and a bitter.
We need 4 burrata and 4 mozzarella and a cutting board with carelessly cut cheeses with a Biffi packaged jam in the center. The cheeses were not presented to us, also because they were supermarket quality provolone.
The assassin arrives in a large pan and the dishes are arranged on a small table: they make our 4 portions and prepare a fifth, destination unknown. The service? Absent and annoyed. They cleared the table and everyone's plates while I was still eating.
The bill was the final blow: €25 per person for the killers, contrary to what we read from the reviews of other customers who paid 16 or 18 euros for them, and a good €78 for cheeses and dairy products, counted as "per person" prices, but without it being specified on the menu.
All managed with a less than transparent, almost fraudulent attitude.
Disappointing in every respect. They want to appear pretentious, but they have a truck stop style service. Avoid like the plague these places that ruin the image of Puglia and of those who work honestly.
Never again.

Great location, very friendly and kind staff, great wines at good prices, super tasty salads, the best pizza we've had in Italy, the fish and seafood are very fresh and delicious. We discovered it on the first night and only had dinner there all 4 nights. I recommend it with both hands!
25/05/2025: The first courses are very good especially, very central as a place. The staff is really very kind, I really recommend it. The Garden room is very beautiful where it seems like you are not even in the center.
