26/04/2026: Lunch with a friend, sea view, tagliolini with 1/2 lobster, marinated tuna, spaghetti with clams, the only flaw was the slightly salty tomato.

20/04/2026: A tube of grouper made with canned tuna... Disgusting, smelly, inedible Disgusting, none of the diners managed to eat it.

13/12/2025: The place is very welcoming, clean, the staff are friendly, and the service is fast. A pleasant place to spend a quiet evening, but... Tagliolini with scampi had something special about it, a not-so-pleasant flavor, definitely due to the fish not being particularly fresh. It didn't smell good or taste good. The roasted octopus was good but tough. The baked potatoes were good. The sorbet was unimaginable, basically just ice chips. It's definitely a good place for pizza (though I haven't tried it), but otherwise, it's not up to par.

08/11/2025: Unfortunately, I ordered a gluten-free pizza, happy to finally have found a pizzeria that made it. Instead, I ended up with a frozen pizza base with added toppings. A real disappointment! Absolutely avoid it.

12/06/2026: The octopus sandwich was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a great place for a lunch break, as there's a place to sit and a clean bathroom.

12/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ On a beautiful sunny morning in Altamura, we stopped at this historic bakery for brunch, and the experience was truly excellent. We had the opportunity to sample several traditional local specialties: from fragrant friselle drizzled with excellent olive oil, to authentic Altamura bread, to pizza and focaccia from Bari, all prepared with quality ingredients and with that authenticity that is evident from the first bite. The variety of products is remarkable, and every bite confirms the care and experience of those who work at this bakery every day. Another particularly appreciated aspect is the quality-price ratio, which is decidedly reasonable considering the excellence of the offerings. The staff was courteous, helpful, and quick in their service, helping to make our visit even more enjoyable. The option of sitting at the outdoor tables and enjoying these specialties in complete relaxation was also very pleasant. A stop absolutely worth a visit for anyone wishing to discover the authentic flavors of Altamura and Puglia's culinary traditions. Highly recommended.

14/07/2026: I was once again blown away by the preparation and meticulous attention to detail of all the products they served. As soon as we arrived, they seated us outside: a very elegant and modern location for those who want to enjoy high-quality food. The staff was very friendly and kind, accommodating our every request. The pizzas were delicious and, above all, generous with toppings, but thanks to the super-digestible dough, we didn't feel heavy at all. I highly recommend going there to enjoy so many delicacies. I'll be back soon!

14/07/2026: The location is undeniably beautiful, right by the water with a lovely view. However, it’s also one of the most photographed spots in Polignano a Mare, so expect a constant stream of people taking pictures. During our visit, there was also a large stage next to the restaurant with an ongoing sound check, which made the atmosphere far from peaceful or romantic. The restaurant requires each guest to order at least two courses. We both chose the lobster pasta as a starter. It was good, but there was very little actual lobster. It tasted as though it had been made with a lobster bisque or stock rather than containing much lobster meat, which was disappointing. For our main courses, we both ordered fish. It was well-cooked, beautifully presented, and flavorful, but the portion was surprisingly small. What lowered the experience the most was the service. The staff didn’t feel particularly warm or welcoming, and we often felt more like an inconvenience than valued guests. Despite booking well in advance, we were seated at one of the least desirable tables, directly facing the noisy stage. We had to ask if we could move ourselves, which felt strange given that we had reserved ahead of time. One detail also felt a bit artificial. The restaurant offers men the option to surprise their partners with flowers, which sounds like a lovely idea. However, when several couples arrive at the same time, are seated next to each other, and every woman receives the exact same flower, it loses its charm and starts to feel more staged than romantic .. Overall, the food and wine were enjoyable, but the atmosphere lacked authenticity. Rather than feeling like an intimate Italian dining experience, it felt more focused on appearances. If you’re looking for genuine romance and local charm, this probably isn’t the place. The wine, however, was excellent.

15/07/2026: Deceived by the full tables, a tourist place. I don't usually write reviews, but this time, I couldn't help it. I'm sorry, but for the food I ate, the price I paid, not even the bread was worth it. One of the waiters, by the way, was interfering while I was using the phone.

05/07/2026: I've been here two years in a row. This year I came back because my friends and I had good memories, but unfortunately it was anything but pleasant. We dined outside, and after dinner, we needed to use the bathrooms inside. Five of us went upstairs to the first floor of the restaurant where the bathroom is, and we were yelled at like 10-year-olds because, "You can't have so many people go upstairs to use the bathroom." This was just one of the things a guy who works there shouted at us, and he had no respect for us, perhaps thinking we were talking to some of his friends from his group. After we tried to explain that no one had told us it couldn't be done (not even if we'd decided to play hide-and-seek inside the restaurant), he continued to raise his voice in front of all the customers... shame on them and the embarrassment THEY made in front of everyone. After paying the bill, we got up to leave, and as we were walking away, this very nice and polite young man started asking his colleague loudly if we had gotten up without paying. I don't think there's a greater lack of respect towards a customer who is paying for a service that YOU should be able to provide at your best. I emphasize that we are nine 30-year-olds who have always worked in the restaurant industry and who know very well what respect is and how to show it. Perhaps you should review your staff, because unfortunately, you're losing a lot of points because of this. The only positive note is the girls in the dining room, who were professional.

05/07/2026: The food was quite good, but the experience was completely ruined by the treatment we received from the staff inside. The girls who served us were always kind and helpful. When it was time to use the bathroom, we were stopped and rudely yelled at, in a completely inappropriate tone. Shortly afterward, a very young waiter came up to check on us, questioning us for no reason, and then raised his voice at one of us. There were nine of us at a table of six, but we didn't cause any problems or make any demands. We had already paid the bill, and as we were leaving, the same waiter loudly asked a colleague if we had paid, making us feel further accused. We're a group of quiet adults; we waited a long time for both our table and our pizzas: truly rude and inexcusable treatment.

15/05/2026: A place I highly recommend for everything. The owner is friendly and very helpful. I always visit this corner of paradise whenever I can. Poggiorsini, despite its small size, offers many natural recreation opportunities, in addition to being a beautiful village. Kudos also go to the municipal administration, which has successfully revitalized the area.

15/04/2026: A very charming little restaurant, located in a small village square with a wonderful view. We stumbled upon it by chance on Easter Monday, looking for a last-minute lunch option, and we couldn't have been luckier. Excellent traditional dishes and many very friendly young waiters. We'll be back.

24/12/2025: I'm shocked, disappointed, and very, very bitter... two proseccos (no particular brand), a plate of raw fish (an oyster, a shrimp, and two scampi), plus two other small plates of various things (cold, by the way, including some fried food)... Basically, everything to share, nothing calculated for two! Total €70... basically two aperitifs for €35 per person, the cost of a dinner in a pinch... I understand it's Christmas Eve, but increasing the price like this is truly illegal... half an hour to be so bled... I don't think I'll be back, not even for a coffee, because I felt truly cheated, never mind Christmas wishes... What a disappointment...

16/11/2025: I go to this bar exclusively for the products which are of good quality especially the really good croissants, but unfortunately I have to give one star because it is not the first time it happens, I am referring to the waitress Alina who served me the croissants and then made me pay, a piece of advice, education and empathy are the basis of this job, I enter saying hello and I barely get a response, a desire to work equal to 0, and after having paid even worse, if you do not want to be in contact with people, you are asked to change jobs, because the image of the place depends on it, which I repeat is TRULY EXCELLENT

18/05/2026: Terrible experience at this retro place, even the lighting is lacking. Terrible dishes, especially the breasts, which were not very clean. For my second course, I ordered fried calamari with a side of potatoes, and not only was it awful, but to make it seem too large, they served everything at once.

03/07/2026: Our dinner at Trullo dei Sapori was one of the highlights of our stay in Alberobello! As a family of five, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff, who made us feel comfortable throughout the evening. The food was exceptional, but the real star was the sea bream—it was easily the best we’ve had in a long time. Perfectly cooked, incredibly fresh, and full of flavor. The wine recommendation was outstanding and paired beautifully with the meal. To top it all off, we were treated to fresh fruit at the end, a thoughtful touch that perfectly completed a wonderful dining experience. If you’re looking for authentic Puglian cuisine, fresh seafood, excellent wine, and genuine hospitality, Trullo dei Sapori is an absolute must-visit. We highly recommend it and will definitely return when we’re back in Puglia! 🍷🐟🍇

20/07/2026: I'd been following the restaurant's Instagram page for a while and, drawn by their posts, last Saturday I decided to try it with three dear friends. Our expectations were definitely met: Il Piccio proved to be a must-visit for anyone passing through Minervino Murge. We opted for the dinner menu, which, at the incredible price of €25 per person, offers a comprehensive and generous selection of traditional local flavors. The Appetizer: We start off strong with local products. The cheeses stand out, with an excellent scamorza, a very fresh ricotta, and a delicious, juicy mozzarella. Among the cured meats, an exceptional capocollo deserves an honorable mention, a spicy salami with a kick of its own, and a truly delicious artisanal treat reminiscent of cotechino. Everything is accompanied by a warm focaccia of their own production and the inevitable traditional delicacies: bread balls and cucoli (delicious little fried dough balls), perfect for pairing with the cured meats. The house red wine, with its strong and intense flavor, perfectly complemented this first course. La Brace (the main course): The meat is the absolute star. We were served a perfectly cooked mix with the unmistakable marks of real embers: Donkey sausage with an incredible and deep flavor. Succulent pork shoulder. Classic sausage and tender horse meat strips. The masterful touch? The selected cuts are served on a bed of potatoes enriched with long green peppers: a side dish that captures all the juices and flavors of the embers, becoming something extraordinary. In summary: Excellent raw materials, respect for tradition, and a final price (€25 per person) that is honestly rare for such quality and quantity. I will definitely be back! Tip for travelers: We highly recommend booking well in advance, especially for Saturday evenings, as the place is rightfully very popular. Price per person: €20-30 (fixed menu €25) Recommended dishes: Mixed grilled meats on a bed of potatoes and green peppers, Cucoli (a type of sausage), and mixed Murgia antipasti.
