18/10/2025: Don't go there, and if you do, get up and leave. The situation was so awkward that all we could do was laugh at the various tables.
Laughing to lighten the mood. Dinner began with a cat wandering between the tables and then jumping onto the table where the fish was displayed, all to the indifference of the waiters. Dinner continued with a wine/vinegar being returned. The rest is a series of failures that need no telling. Now we're at the pizzeria to wash that taste of misfortune from our mouths.
Unfortunately, we also had to pay €80 for two.
23/09/2025: Worst place we’ve had dinner in Italy. Wine tasted like fish, servings were ridiculously tiny and prices were like a fancy restaurant (with a nasty small kitchen). They even brought some old bread we were almost finishing our food.
“Terrace” is in the highest floor but no views.
Decided not to order everything else after 50eur (2 person) of almost no food and went to have pizza to another place, avoid this restaurant please!

17/11/2025: We went today, Sunday, November 16th. We asked for a price menu, but there wasn't one. We ordered two main appetizers of raw seafood and two cooked seafood, a plate of orecchiette with tomato sauce, and just water. There were six of us and two children. Finally, we asked for coffee, but they wouldn't provide it. In the end, we were in for a shocking €430 bill (crazy stuff). We paid like royalty and left, without issuing a receipt. We'll never go back. The staff were subpar. We truly felt robbed and scammed by this Vito, who sent the bill without a receipt. Vito, go to work. F*** you.
16/11/2025: Overpriced! Just the six-course appetizer for six people came to €150, and it didn't include the prosciutto, but rather stewed turnips, meatballs, and spinach soufflé—basically! We added a first course, totaling €270. We asked the manager for clarification, but she rudely walked away, not knowing what to say, and handed us over to the waiter who served us, who was trying to convince us they were fair prices. A rip-off! Never again! Highly not recommended!

28/10/2025: Not very busy at the end of October. We ordered pizza and red wine. We were given an English menu. The wine was deliciously dry, the pizza was deliciously crispy.
Nice place. I recommend it. I don't know what it would be like in high season. They charge a service fee.
18/09/2025: Regional spaghetti prepared perfectly, delicious snacks and starters, perfectly chilled wine, simply divine, highly recommended!!!

12/05/2025: Siamo stati a cena in questo posto (4 adulti) e subito dopo la cena siamo stati malissimo tutti e 4, con crampi addominali e dissenteria.

08/05/2025: Abbiamo avuto il piacere di cenare ben due volte in questa braceria dove mi preme sottolineare la simpatia e disponibilità di Alessandro in macelleria e Paola in sala . Tutto buonissimo dalla qualità della carne alle ottime patate e condimenti. Che dire tutto perfetto,complimenti a tutti .Ad maiora!!

03/09/2025: The pizza dough is acceptable, thin and tasty, but they don't use real mozzarella. They also forget some ingredients, claiming they're out of stock. Others get the wrong pizza entirely, and the service is incredibly slow. The pizza arrives after an hour and a half, practically killing your appetite.
17/08/2025: First night on the road, the hotel tells us it has a deal with this restaurant.
We go, sit down, and order a 66cc bottle of beer each.
They bring us the menus.
When we're about to order, we tell the waiter that we have a deal with the hotel.
As soon as we hear this, they take away our menus and tell us that we're entitled to a "basic" first and second course.
Like pasta with tomato sauce and veal cutlets.
We ask for something fishy.
They serve us plain spaghetti with 3 mussels on top.
For the second course, stewed mussels.
It's all really poor.
We ask for coffee and an amaro, which we get without asking for the "Mediterranean" one.
We're about to leave and they ask us for €2.50 each because the deal with the hotel doesn't include beer.
Back at the hotel, we immediately made it clear that we'd never return to that squalor.
We asked the company we're working for about other restaurants.
Luckily, they recommended Luca's.

11/10/2025: At 11:05 we had four coffees and a croissant for a total of €20.00. SHAMEFUL!!!!!!! Terrible service. There were five of us, we paid €2 each for a coffee and a croissant from Algida. 1. The terrace area didn't say it was a restaurant. 2. We didn't use the bathroom. 3. We didn't see any menu.

16/06/2025: Costi spropositati in relazione a qualità del cibo e servizio offerto. Calici e bicchieri di odore cattivo ad inizio cena, segno di scarsa igiene, crudo di pesce totalmente da evitare. Recatevi altrove, Bari è meravigliosa validissime alternative anche più centrali e a prezzi onesti.
07/06/2025: Ristorante quasi di lusso , per cui non si capiscono le recensioni di coloro che pagano 50 euro a testa e si lamentano😂

An indescribable location with unfriendly, rude, and very impolite staff.
€1.50 coffee, and you have to ask for a receipt because they don't do one.
A poor presentation for the city.
It's 2025, and they don't even have plant-based milk 😱

07/08/2025: Sono stata da Antipasteria e pizzeria Daví e devo dire che è stata una vera sorpresa. Iniziare con un tagliere di salumi è stata la scelta giusta: una selezione di alta qualità con un prosciutto crudo che si scioglieva in bocca, un capocollo saporito e una mozzarella di bufala fresca e deliziosa. L'aggiunta di olive e formaggi ha reso l'antipasto ancora più completo e gustoso.
Per i primi, ci siamo buttati sugli gnocchi alla tirolese, una specialità che mi ha lasciato senza parole: morbidi, saporiti e con un condimento perfettamente equilibrato. Ma il vero pezzo forte sono state le pizze gourmet. In particolare, quella con zucchine fritte, pistacchi e prosciutto è stata una rivelazione. Un mix di sapori e consistenze che non ti aspetti, ma che funziona alla perfezione. L'impasto, leggero e digeribile, è la base perfetta per ingredienti così ricercati.
Non abbiamo potuto resistere a un contorno di patate fritte, croccanti e non unte, che si sono rivelate l'accompagnamento ideale.
Per finire in bellezza, abbiamo provato il tiramisù fatto in casa. Si percepisce la cura e la passione che ci mettono: fresco, cremoso e con un ottimo equilibrio di sapori.
Il servizio è stato impeccabile, il personale è cortese e attento a ogni dettaglio. Daví è il posto perfetto per chi cerca una cucina di qualità, che unisce la tradizione a un tocco di creatività. Tornerò sicuramente per provare altre specialità!
20/07/2025: Esperienza pessima… cibo salatissimo… pizze vergognose, salate, vuote e dalle sembianze di cartone!!! Una delle due pizze era anche sbagliata.
