03/09/2024: We came to this restaurant looking at other people's reviews online, I must say the best restaurant in Gallipoli I have tried especially for the quality. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a first course with the catch of the day that they offer on sight, we let ourselves be caught by a lobster and they made us a very good first course. The house starter is very rich and tasty, as is the dish with fresh raw meat. Honest quality and price! Absolutely worth trying, the place is always full so I recommend calling a few days in advance.

A great experience for vegetarians too. Even as tourists, we were greeted and welcomed like regular guests. A thoroughly great experience.

22/08/2024: Absolutely positive experience. Welcoming environment and staff too. The rooms were spacious, clean and served with everything you need. Professional people and it shows. I highly recommend it for those who want to stay in Salento in peace, eat well and move around the surrounding areas extremely easily.

25/07/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante consigliato dalla proprietaria dell'appartamento alloggiato proprio nelle immediate vicinanze. Esperienza sicuramente da ripetere: accoglienza molto familiare, personale gentile e molto carino, attento alla clientela. Un tripudio di sapori di una cucina salentina tradizionale ma molto accurata. Posto molto intimo. E per finire, un amaro al finocchietto che delizia il palato! Consigliatissimo!

24/07/2024: Location caratteristica situata a pochi minuti da Nardó, siamo stati in questo posto per ben due sere di fila durante la nostra vacanza in Puglia la scorsa settimana ed è stata una piacevolissima scoperta. Il personale gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi consiglio ed esigenza. Sicuramente da tornarci non appena ricapiteremo in Puglia. Consigliatissimo il Polpo alla Pignata e la carne stufata

21/05/2024: C’è la trattoria alla moda, finta, ove mangiare più o meno come una volta; ma c'è anche la "vera" trattoria, dove il tempo pare essersi fermato e dove, varcando la soglia cigolante di un ingresso antico, pare di entrare in una macchina del tempo e finire in un'altra epoca... questo è l'effetto che fa la Trattoria del cerriglio, ex osteria, dove tutto sembra essere cristallizzato ad un secolo fa. Amatissimo e conosciutissimo in città, il nonno titolare, oste come quelli di una volta, che gestiva l'osteria di famiglia nata nel 1864, ha lasciato la sua eredità morale alla figlia e alla di lei figlia, che continuano oggi a gestire questa piccolissima trattoria come se nulla fosse cambiato da allora. L'aria, gli arredi, i colori, tutto è proprio d'epoca: solo il sorriso della titolare e della figlia sono nuovi e sinceri, come ciò che la casa propone. Pochi piatti, semplici e genuini, niente fronzoli, pulizia e ordine a farla da padrone. Che meraviglia... aggiungete un costo giusto, non troppo basso perché la qualità ha i suoi costi, e uscirete dalla macchina del tempo con un sorriso sulle labbra, un lieve stordimento per l'esperienza vissuta e tanta, tanta voglia di ritornarci. Grazie, davvero grazie di esistere!

12/07/2024: The owner and the waiter are two very kind and nice people, attentive to customers' needs. We had a good dinner, excellent and light food. My son enjoyed the curry ravioli. Excellent!! We will definitely be back, it's a shame that we live in Friuli😅 but we'll definitely go next holiday!!!

07/08/2024: Fabulous evening location (Giovinazzo marina under the tower). Very good food, recipes with innovative but very enjoyable incursions. Impeccable service, I didn't pay but a good starter, a first course and a good bottle, Approx. €50/person. But, deserved!

22/08/2024: Questa estate ci sono stato tre volte, una con mia moglie e due volte con amici venuti in vacanza. Partiamo dalla gentilezza del personale e dello Chef, posto in giardino incantevole, cibo tutto squisito e porzioni abbondanti, abbiamo provato tutto, antipasti, primi, secondi e dolce, non c'è stata una pietanza che non sia stata buonissima e servita con cura, è difficile trovare un posto dove si mangia così bene a prezzi bassi rispetto all'altissima qualità proposta. Vi consiglio di provarlo e ci ritornerete sicuramente. Complimenti allo Chef e a tutto lo Staff dello Small. Damiano Caputo

03/09/2024: There are no words to express how impeccable the dinner at Arrosteria Borgo Antico was in every course we had the pleasure of tasting. The raw materials used are very fresh and chosen with a preference for the locality, the cuts of meat, selected and refined, are masterfully prepared, the appetizer is a perfect combination of tradition and the chef's creativity. We started our dinner with the house appetizer. Worthy of note are the beef tartare seasoned with mustard and crunchy onion, the carpaccio with pink pepper, the fondue with chopped pistachios, the selection of strictly local cured meats and dairy products and the mint-scented caponatina. For the choice of meat we let ourselves be guided by Angelo, Owner as well as creative mind and chef, ordering a Florentine and a cut of exceptional quality! We then concluded the dinner with some excellent desserts and cannoli served with grappa and limoncello. A round of applause then goes to the kindness of all the staff. This is one of those places set in a suggestive setting that I would recommend to anyone to make a good impression. We will be back without a doubt!

21/07/2024: I find myself forced to give one star because it is the minimum to be able to write a review. We booked a dinner in this place in Taranto via TheFork, with the Yums: the chosen date was a Sunday in mid-June, so just over a month ago. When we arrived on site after a day at the beach, we found the place closed (it was already the time in which we had the reservation). We asked the owners of a bar located next door for information, they explained that the place could have a summer location and they provided us with a telephone number. We tried calling both the number indicated on Sud's social media and the address given to us by the bar owners. No reply. We tried to contact them both via Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram: nothing, even though their social networks were updated quite frequently. Only by looking more carefully at their profiles do we realize that the previous evening was the last evening before closing because the place will reopen in September. Naturally, for us, this is a lesson to always check before going to a place, to avoid surprises like this, but the review was born with the invitation to the owners of this place to cancel reservations through TheFork in the period in which they know that the place is closed (when we made the reservation, towards the beginning of June, it was also possible to book for July and August). The inconvenience they caused us that evening was not insignificant, considering that we are not from Taranto. To date, via Facebook Messenger, they have viewed our message without even apologizing for the inconvenience caused (but they made a post in which they renewed the appointment for September). On WhatsApp the blue ticks do not appear on messages, to date we have not been provided with any response, not even to apologise. We find ourselves forced to leave a negative review both for the disappointment received last June 16th and for the lack of response from the owners of the restaurant. We hope, one day, to receive feedback and to be able to change our minds about this place.

Perfect cuisine, served impeccably Dishes that contain the true scent of the sea...impeccable and refined staff, always ready to fulfill every request And then what about the owner? Very nice and friendly person...always making sure that everything was in order and that customers were satisfied In short, you must definitely come here if you want excellence!

29/08/2024: In my opinion the best place in Torre Vado for simplicity and quality. I a week I spend in the area at least I go twice . You gotta like traditional food and little rustic ambience. Service and Price are great

29/08/2024: Nightmarish kitchens!!!...if Cannavacciuolo came they would close it immediately without even trying to save it!!!!...frozen fish cooked badly!!!...high price considering the very low quality of everything!!! ... I highly recommend other places in the area that serve fish of the day at a much more honest price.
