Ristó Fratelli Pesce In Taranto

My husband and I went for lunch a few days ago and had a wonderful time. The place is charming and well-kept in the old town of Taranto, and the owner and staff are kind and welcoming, especially the manager, with whom we enjoyed chatting about wine and food. You can tell they're passionate about their work, sourcing excellent ingredients and showcasing their creativity in their cooking. We hope to return soon.

A truly enjoyable experience in every way. The quality of the fish is excellent, always incredibly fresh and enhanced by meticulous preparation. You're greeted with a welcome glass of wine, and throughout the dinner, the service is exceptionally professional, attentive, and helpful. The passion and commitment of the entire staff is evident, contributing to an even more pleasant atmosphere. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit and I recommend it without hesitation.

Unique, both as a place and as food, it's worth it!

We stumbled upon it by chance, and we were lucky! We were delighted to discover the flavors of Taranto: the excellent au gratin mussels, the fish-filled "schiaffoni," and the cavatelli with mussels and beans. The focaccia to start and the dessert to finish were also very well received. Everything was excellent. Thanks to Gabriele, Carla, and the other staff, who were so welcoming!

On the recommendation of a local friend, I decided to dine at this restaurant, located a stone's throw from the city's tourist port, right above Piazza Fontana in Taranto's old town. The area is full of trattorias and restaurants, so there's a wide choice, but I think this place stands out for its truly well-thought-out and beautifully presented dishes. On the advice of the server, I opted for homemade ricotta-filled troccoli with mussels, cherry tomatoes (and lemon), which were delicious. Then, for a second course, seared tuna, which was delicious, and to finish off, a Nutella and chocolate parfait. My only complaint is that I might have added a few more troccoli; it feels like a gourmet restaurant at times, but I have to say I left the dinner feeling full. The prices are fair.

Excellent service... The owners are truly passionate about their work... Exceptional fish dishes... From appetizers to desserts, a truly superb mix of flavors... Excellent raw materials... Highly recommended.

Carefully prepared dishes, beautiful to photograph. Excellent quality food, fresh fish. Super friendly staff. Highly recommended. My only suggestion for the outside is mosquito repellent.
