We chose the restaurant based on the reviews we'd read. It's a small, pleasant place, but very noisy. Between the noisy children, barking dogs, and a noisy group of about 20 people, it was hard to hear the other diners at the table (4 people).
The service was impeccable, professional, and fast. The appetizers were adequate, but the three first courses we ordered unfortunately didn't meet our expectations. The troccoli with zucchini, walnuts, and pecorino cheese were a bit bland, as were the cavatelli with sausage and eggplant. In fact, in both cases, the vegetables were pureed and both were bland, again to our personal taste. The mezze maniche with ragù was adequate.
The mixed grill with baked potatoes was good. The price was average.

I stumbled upon it by chance after a visit to Castel del Monte, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise of flavors combined with an exquisite welcome. Most of the products served are sourced from them, or at least locally sourced. A great experience.

Excellent in every way: rustic and tastefully decorated location, impeccable service, delicious food and wine in generous portions. The price is super fair considering the quality of the food, the service, and the location. I highly recommend it; we ourselves will definitely return if we ever find ourselves in this wonderful region again.

Beautiful location, welcoming and friendly staff. Ready to accommodate every request with a smile. The food is special, believe me...the ingredients are obviously excellent, but the cooking is also excellent. We'll be back...

The road to get there is a bit complicated but the place is great, even without a reservation they let us sit, the person I was with and I had 2 types of pasta which were very generous and very good and then for dessert we were hoping for a pistachio cake but it wasn't available, we had the chocolate one which was also excellent!!!

A truly fantastic restaurant. You'd never guess it was a restaurant. We ordered the set menu and it was absolutely delicious. Amazing antipasti made with local produce, followed by two different pasta dishes and a mixed grill. Everything was superb. We could barely manage dessert. Top-notch!
