06/04/2026: Based on the good reviews, I ended up there and luckily snagged the last table. The food was heavenly. Everything was deliciously seasoned and beautifully presented. I'm speechless at how tasty it all was. The service was friendly and attentive.

16/03/2026: As always, the Bari hinterland amazes, as this beautiful restaurant in Bari clearly continues to grow. Good menu, excellent food, generous portions, and a wide selection of fresh seafood. The location is very pretty, overlooking the sea.

19/10/2025: We are staying not far from Donna Maria and were looking for something nice for dinner. We found just what we were looking for. The bread seems to be a house made loaf which is a pleasant change from some who just drop some rando bread in a basket on the table. This bread is good quality. We began with beef carppacio which was delicious, especially the olive paste which provided a natural salty component. My wife had gnocchi with lamb ragu and I enjoyed the mezzi ziti with a rich beef sauce. Both just wonderful dishes. Especially with Negroamaro to pair with. We finished with a Crema di ricotta pugliese dessert that's a regional favorite. It was a wonderful meal and the staff were professional and friendly.

13/03/2026: We had booked a table for two at 2:30 PM. When we arrived right on time, they told us we couldn't sit down and we'd have to wait half an hour. After an hour, our table was still unavailable, so we went home. Terrible service.

06/04/2026: In the historic center of Martina Franca, Nausikaa is one of the many restaurants, trattorias, and roasteries. It's hard to go wrong in the Itria Valley, where the food and service is generally high, if you respect tradition. I tried two first courses, a second course, and an appetizer... the complimentary entree. I found the composition of the dishes spot-on, not overly elaborate, but not banal either. I found the service attentive, with a few flaws. The bill, unfortunately, is what you'd expect these days; if you look at the menu on the website, you can get an idea. For a lunch of around forty euros—not including wine—is easily affordable. Therefore: Service OK. Customer service was good, with entrees offered while you waited, with clear instructions on cooking times. The bill, in my opinion, is a little high, but you're definitely satisfied.

11/04/2026: A very salty dinner in Bari! We were treated like tourists, without a doubt: 1 bottle of wine, 2 orange juices, and 2 beers Appetizers for 4 6 braciole (braciole) with plenty of sauce 3 desserts €180 - I'd say the bill was more than a little steep, given that in Bari, a portion of braciole (braciole) without pasta should usually be two braciole, not one braciole with sauce for two braciole. Simply a rude way of doing things, e.g., the bread arrived at the end of the appetizer.

04/04/2026: The best culinary experience we had in Italy. Pasta dishes were okay. Asparagus with pasta was very good. Very extensive wine selection at good prices.

20/03/2026: A very cute and welcoming place in the center of Bari; friendly and helpful staff, quick service, and reasonable timing. We ordered a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, which was delicious, followed by the orecchiette with turnip tops, which I absolutely loved! I finished the dinner with the sporcamuss, but I really would have liked to try at least ten other items on the menu! Generous portions, excellent food, and a delightful atmosphere.
