15/12/2025: Famous for its panzerotti, freshly baked or fried at any time of the day, this informal place is perfect for a business lunch. I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic occasion...but some people enjoy it for those occasions too. Adequate portions, fair prices, and inn-like service.

22/09/2025: We were there a week ago and had a wonderful time. The terrace overlooking the sea is priceless, and we enjoyed a breathtaking sunset. The service was attentive. After a selection of appetizers (delicious stuffed mussels, marinated anchovies and mussels, and the classic Apulian bruschetta with cherry tomatoes and burrata), the truly knowledgeable waiter suggested an off-menu dish that we agreed to try: excellent orecchiette with clams, Foresta Umbra clams, and bottarga. Delicious. The price was proportionate to the ingredients, the kitchen's skill, and the location. WELL DONE. Highly recommended.

14/12/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance; the room was small but welcoming. It reminded me of the shops of old, where the house and the shop were separated only by a curtain. The meat was good; finally, a skewer that wasn't stringy but was delicious.

10/10/2025: Very welcoming place, kind and helpful staff, the meat is excellent, every time I go to Specchia I eat at this place.

01/11/2025: I cook better at home. The grilled meat was lacking seasoning and tough, with lots of fat and no flavor. The set menu included olive leaves with seafood, tasteless, cooked in calamari broth. The grilled fish, dried grouper, and shrimp from Eurospin. All appetizers were portioned, except for the pittule and octopus balls. Pumpkin gnocchi, good, but a shame about the cream. Orecchiette with tomato sauce, raw and unsalted orecchiette.

26/10/2025: Finally a restaurant that offers more than just orecchiette with tomato sauce as an alternative to the fish menu. Everything from the appetizer to the first and second courses is delicious. The staff is very kind and helpful. I will definitely be back.

19/10/2025: A very nice place to eat - below the arches - nice menu with varied dishes and we really enjoyed the soup and family style salads. Try to get there early (12:30ish) when it opens so you don’t have to wait for table

08/10/2025: They give you olives, bread and taralli pugliesi on the house. The taralli were of two types, very good, soft and crunchy in the same time. Pasta with burrata and tomato sauce had a fresh taste. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The terrace is heated. Reservation is recommended.

The habanero balls are pleasingly spicy/hot 🌶️🔥 The fries are very well done, crispy and not overly oily 🍟 But daaamn, the burgers are too sure for 🤤 I had the one (in the picture) with minced & spiced beef, smoked garlicky eggplants, sun-dried tomatoes and a whole burrata 🤯 Sooo creamy 🤤🤍 And it's the _only_ place in Villanova that serves FuzeTea (❤️) instead of EstaTea (😣).

06/11/2025: Shouldn't a host show at least a little interest in their customers, even if they are tourists? Okay, we had language difficulties, but we have rarely experienced such unfriendly service; eating out here is no fun at all!

23/10/2025: The place is small but refined and clean. It's located in the historic center, so it's easy to reach on foot. The service is young, professional, and friendly. The dishes are definitely the highlight of this place; the sea urchin carbonara is out of this world, and after trying it, I've never ordered it anywhere else. Overall, I recommend this place if you're in Otranto, especially for a romantic dinner.

21/10/2025: We had a great dinner with great service and high quality of the dishes. Because of a fish allergy and pregnancy they adjusted the menu for me. Which was really kind and delicious! They even had great sparkling 0.0 wine! Thanks for the great evening.

01/12/2025: Excellent typical cuisine, both land and sea, all freshly prepared, which is no small thing, tasty and plentiful, with the possibility of making two half portions of different things with a first course, even the house Primitivo red wine is good🥇

01/10/2025: One of the best restaurants in the province of Lecce. I've known it for many years, and every time I go, it's always a surprise. It's one of the few that satisfies me in every way. Excellent food, excellent service, and a stunning location.

23/09/2025: I really don't like leaving negative reviews. In fact I never do (truly I'm not just saying this) because I know the effect they can have an a business. However I think people should get a glimpse of the restaurant before coming here to spend a ton of money for subpar quality food. How can you be a in a region with an absolute surplus of olive oil and have food this bland at exorbiant prices. I don't think there was a grain of salt on any dish. It's also criminal to call an appetizer red prawns then get 4 pieces of the tail of a prawn that is barely bigger than a finger nail. I would have also rather been spared the "mixed greens" under my octopus as it was just that. Mixed green with nothing on them and majority of the leaves were rotten. Also a lobster pasta dish in which it requires you to crack your own lobster with your hands? Trying to make food into something "artistic" is the downfall of dining. Put something on the late that is worth eating and priced fairly. 45 minutes between starters and mains is a no for me as well. Rest assured this is an honest review....sadly

09/11/2025: We had an amazing lunch here.. my wife had pasta and I ate a steak (not a favorite fan of seafood), and everything was delicious.. the city, the atmosphere, and this restaurant are all related.. great place, fair prices.. definitely worth it
