15/06/2026: We stop here every time we're in Desenzano. For us, it's one of the best restaurants! Authentic regional cuisine with excellent wines and friendly service! The ambiance in this little alley is fantastic.

09/06/2026: I discovered this place on vacation last week and haven't left! Delicious lake fish, delicious pizza, equally delicious desserts, and excellent value! Located on a side street in the center of Desenzano, it has a truly charming atmosphere! The staff are top-notch...they make you feel at home! This will be a regular stop for me, as I often visit Lake Garda!

01/06/2026: I discovered this restaurant/hotel through social media: they're very present, friendly, and always active. Intrigued, I decided to try their famous pizza tour, and I have to say it was a wonderful discovery. The first thing you notice is the welcome: as soon as you walk in, they make you feel right at home. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and professional. Frequenting the restaurant, I got to know Tommy, Florindo, and Altin well. They're the owners, but I now consider them almost like old friends. The prices are still affordable, and the quality of the food is truly excellent. They also recently completely revamped the menu, and I found it truly thoughtful and versatile: it manages to offer delicious and original dishes without losing its connection to tradition, all while maintaining very fair prices. One thing I particularly appreciate is that, despite being just minutes from Lake Garda, where prices in many places have become very high, here you still have an "old-fashioned" atmosphere, with fair and accessible prices. I've always had the feeling that they work more out of passion and to make their customers feel good than to chase maximum profit, and this is an increasingly rare quality and, in my opinion, truly admirable. On Friday evenings, they have a meat round, and for just €27 per person, you can eat all the meat you want, including Florentine steak, fillet, spit-roasted steak, and many other cuts. I sometimes stay there too, since they're just minutes from Salò and Lake Garda. I once had a problem with the air conditioning in my room, and Tommaso intervened immediately: within ten minutes, everything was fixed and the room was cool again. This also shows how much they care about their customers' well-being. For me, it's now become a reference point, almost a second home. I can only recommend it to everyone. And one last tip: also check out their social media, because in addition to being very well-prepared, they're really fun. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars, well-deserved.

09/07/2026: My sister and I stopped to look at the menu before going in. Since I have celiac disease, l asked whether they offered any gluten-free options. I was told that they only served what was listed on the menu, so there were no gluten-free alternatives available. Unfortunately, the interaction at the entrance left a negative impression. After asking about gluten-free pasta, I overheard the staff laughing about my question, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I ended up dining there because my sister had really wanted to try the restaurant. The polenta with guanciale was very good and was the highlight of the meal. While I understand that not every restaurant can accommodate gluten-free diners, l believe every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect. Based on my experience, I wouldn't return.

06/07/2026: The food clearly doesn't match the price/quality ratio! Filet de manzo...just oven-baked meat covered in a thick cheese crust! A very distinctive taste and aroma! If you like blue cheese, this is your dish! The wine for 40 euros...just ordinary wine...and would cost 25 euros anywhere else...

18/05/2026: I would have liked to give the restaurant a higher rating since the food quality is good, the service is acceptable, and the atmosphere is clean. But then I have to face reality, and reality tells me that for a plate of spaghetti carbonara, an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, a focaccia, and a bottle of sparkling water, I spent €40. Too much? In my opinion, yes! The price is out of line and completely unjustified, in my opinion.

08/07/2026: In all our travels this one of the most unique reastrants we've eaten in. The largest wine glasses ever, service with silver cutlery and wine buckets, and a very eclectic mix of cat themed items, but very good food and an experience that will live long in the memory. 20/06/2026: The atmosphere is refreshing enough, but the service was very slow, they miscalculated the timing of the dishes, and the scialatielli were undercooked. It could be improved.

20/05/2026: Pizzeria with a wide selection of dishes, including fish. I personally had pizza because I had to go to a Franciacorta tasting afterwards. The pizza was good. Spying on other tables, I noticed that the portions of both the first and second courses were more than generous. The dessert was also very good.

10/05/2026: The extreme kindness (a rare commodity these days) of all the staff, starting with the owner, is truly noteworthy. She was absolutely helpful and welcoming, even with our DOGS, which made me immensely happy. The food was good, the gluten-free pizza was delicious and light, and the fish dishes were delicious. Prices were reasonable for what was offered. Perhaps the organization could be improved, as the wait for one of the dishes was excessive, but mistakes happen. The place was packed today... We'll definitely be back.

17/06/2026: We ate here twice during our stay. First time for a quick lunch we both enjoyed a pasta course and the second time for dinner we as a fillet steak that was perfectly cooked followed by a lovely tiramisu. The location is beautiful and the staff were inviting, friendly and attentive. Hope to return soon!

17/06/2026: We ate at Caruso, right on Lake Garda, and were very satisfied. We started with antipasti – everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. You could immediately taste the quality of the ingredients. The prices might be a bit higher, but that's perfectly normal in such a stunning location right on the water. In return, you get good food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere with a fantastic view of the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will gladly return on our next trip to Lake Garda. 😊🍷🇮🇹
