31/03/2026: An old trattoria in Campoverde near Salò. Good food and good service, but the atmosphere is small and therefore very noisy. Overall, though, it's good for an evening with friends.

27/10/2025: We only visited the restaurant, so we can't review the hotel. It's a beautiful place, right by the water. The prices are extremely high for Garda; a Spritz for €12... twice as much as what you'd pay for the rest. The staff tries to be friendly and accommodating. Most of the guests are wealthy people. The place is rather remote, but quiet for the center of Garda. Apart from the hotel, nothing is open in October.

29/03/2026: Lunch on Sunday, March 29th We ate well and were greeted with a smile and kindness. Andrea's added value was the way he presented the dessert menu...outstanding!!!! Must see Repeat

11/04/2026: The location on the lake is truly beautiful, but unfortunately the experience was completely ruined by the service and the final bill. As soon as we were seated, we had to ask for menus ourselves, as well as water and even bread. After ordering, the wine was opened for us at the table... but without bringing us glasses, which was quite surreal. The staff seemed inattentive and poorly organized throughout the entire meal. The most disappointing thing is that, despite all these obvious shortcomings, there was no attempt to make amends: not an apology, not a complimentary liqueur, not even a discount (considering the very high bill). The only redeeming feature were the appetizers.

22/11/2025: The quality-price ratio, in my opinion, was completely inadequate. Tagliatelle topped with sautéed mushrooms, also served as an appetizer. No difference in flavor. My main course, lake tench, was pre-cooked and reheated on the spot. Lacking in flavor, too much money.

16/03/2026: At Classico in Brescia, you dine within a well-constructed setting, crafted with intelligence and a certain flair for effect. In our case, a table for twelve in a room all to ourselves: a rare privilege, almost like a small private courtyard. It was also a passageway to other rooms, true, but one of those passageways that didn't disturb at all, quite the opposite. Let's just say the comings and goings contributed to the atmosphere with a significant visual appeal. Then comes the food, and there the place really raises the bar. That sort of caviar toast—let's call it that, even if the term does it less justice than it deserves—was remarkable: opulent, precise, just the right amount of brash. A bite designed to be memorable and, more importantly, capable of doing so. The steak was also excellent, enormous but not gross, cooked to perfection, with that confident handling that distinguishes a significant dish from a simple exercise of muscle. And yet, just when the scene seemed headed for an almost unanimous triumph, the downfall came. Not about wine, not about food, but about spirits. A friend of mine, who was in the car with me, drank six Negronis. Six. Now, a well-made Negroni isn't an evening herbal tea for delicate souls: it has its own structure, its own weight, its own alcoholic dignity. The fact that after six glasses he was more sober than I, who had drunk half a glass of champagne and more mineral water than in a spa treatment, raises a philosophical question even before it's an oenological one. I'm not questioning the elegance of his hand. I'm questioning his shyness. The bill, €1,800 for twelve, so €150 each, isn't robbery: it's a choice, and choices have their price. However, that faint feeling remains that the evening was very nice, the food excellent, the atmosphere successful, but the final price is estimated with a hint of enthusiasm more than what, upon leaving the place, one is willing to grant. In short, Classico is a beautiful, well-constructed place, with high-quality cuisine and a clear talent for creating atmosphere. However, places that aim high cannot afford to slip up in detail, because it's the details that decide whether the memory of a dinner remains bright or becomes slightly corrosive. I had a good time there, I ate very well, but not enough to avoid the final doubt: remarkable, yes; impeccable, no.

23/09/2025: Despite the empty tables, we couldn't order coffee. Very poor service. Perhaps we disturbed the staff while they were chatting.

14/03/2026: The pizza was very thin and light, and good because it wasn't overly topped. The place is simple and the service was friendly. The only problem was that the strong smell of pizza and fried food got on our clothes and hair, which was quite unpleasant.

15/03/2026: Fantastic place and food!!! The blond guy with glasses was incredibly kind and professional. We need more waiters like him. I recommend it to everyone, from couples to families.
