It's nice to sit right by the lake under shady trees, with a pleasant breeze. The service is excellent. The fish was filleted at the table and very tasty. The prices are commensurate with performance.

Enjoyed some delicious homemade food in a tree-shaded dining area right by the water’s edge. The menu is simple but clearly put together with pride - all the pasta dishes are homemade and much of the fish caught in the lake. The noodles with ragu & Garda whitefish was fresh, simple & lovely. The service warm and friendly despite our slightly late arrival. Recommend for a decent, reasonably priced authentic local meal in a lovely setting.

Wer hier isst macht alles richtig! Ich habe am Gardasee noch nie so gut gegessen wie hier. Die Pasta und auch der Fisch waren perfekt. Ich esse eigentlich kein Fisch, aber habe probiert und war sehr überzeugt vom Geschmack. Abgesehen davon ist der Service unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben als Wunsch hinterlegt nah am See zu sitzen und dieser wurde uns erfüllt. Das Ambiente ist hier natürlich einfach beeindruckend. Ganz ganz klare Empfehlung für jeden der in der Nähe ist. Reservierung ist zwingend notwendig.

We are locals, meaning we grew up in the surroundings and so know the lake a lot, but this restaurant was a pleasant surprise: we had dinner there a couple weeks ago and never found another place that feels both like home and like holiday at the same time. The location is incredible: if the weather allows it, you get to eat right on the shore of Portese, under some very tall trees keeping you nice and chill. And the menu is absolutely wonderful: you get to choose among typical dishes made with lake fish, always 100% fresh, as the pasta, that is made from scratch every morning (if you happen to stroll by the restaurant around 10 am, you'll see the staff already twisting the taglierini that you'll eat at dinner). All the staff was incredibly nice, well prepared and ready to provide nice suggestions for our dinner, such as the best local wines to pair our food with. Sehr schöne Ambiente und Lage ,das Essen wie immer lecker.

Serata a cena a pochi metri dal lago, con tavolo da 2 con posizione perfetta. Abbiamo mangiato un tris di pesce lacustre (ottimo) + branzino alla griglia (con sughetto fantastico) mai mangiato cosi..neanche al mare. Anche perchè spinato alla perfezione! Conto giusto. Unica nota negativa: qualche Cameriera risulta poco incline al suo lavoro .

Sopra le aspettative nonostante fossero già molto alte. Complice l’ottima serata, abbiamo passato una cena meravigliosa, cosa non semplice con un bimbo piccolo. Abbiamo preso due menù della casa con i tagliolini, veramente tutto squisito. Ci torneremo sicuramente
