09/03/2025: Small place (about twenty tables inside) in a closed street near Piazza Malvezzi. The entrance is characteristic; simply furnished room. Unlike many tourist places that generally offer "standard" dishes, here the menu "tells" the territory. Caught pike, bigoli with lake sardines and char. All very good and well presented. Friendly staff. Average prices appropriate to the quality and the place (45 euros each for 2 starters, 1 first course, two second courses, three desserts, water, two glasses of Lugana and 2 coffees).

22/03/2025: The best restaurant in Brescia! Everything is delicious: from appetizers to desserts... not to mention the quality of the meat. Excellent value for money, kind and very friendly managers who welcome you with a smile and always make you feel at home... beautiful both inside and out because it is located directly on Piazzale Arnaldo. If I had to recommend a restaurant in Brescia, I would have no doubts! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

05/01/2025: Fin dal pane si sa il posto sarà o meno indimenticabile e questo locale, disposto in modo bizzarro in un bel palazzo antico, sarà difficile da scordare. Dicevo fin dal pane - di due tipi, poi una specie di grissino piatto e strisce di pane abbrustolito con olio e aromi - il pranzo è iniziato molto bene e proseguito con ottimi antipasti e notevoli casoncelli fatti in casa, alla zucca e alla carne. Buonissimi i dolci, il mio una cheesecake ai marroni senza glutine nè lattosio. Fenomenale. Personale squisito.

27/01/2025: The local service and kindness of the staff were impeccable... my three guests had a starter and a fish main course which were judged to be good. I don't eat fish, a good quality cut and a raw appetizer which in my opinion was the only flaw of the dinner because it was cold from the fridge which takes away the flavor of the raw a little, the dish itself in my opinion would be better accompanied with at least some spring onions or gardinera or Russian salad.. we spent 181 euros, I would say slightly above average..

For those passing through the city it is impossible not to stop to enjoy excellent food and excellent wine in a historic venue that has always been able to maintain high quality while preserving tradition. 23/03/2025: We were here two years ago and had a really good meal. Today, March 23, 2025, we were here again. And we were very disappointed. I had grilled beef. And I got about 40 grams of meat and a handful of potatoes. I think that's absolutely lame for one person.

23/03/2025: An absolute flop and not recommended! Unfortunately, it's not worth the trip! Incredibly small portions! We were guests at the restaurant two years ago and loved it, so we went back. Apparently, the concept has changed for the worse. Our main course consisted of a portion of meat, weighing a total of about 40-50 grams! The pizzas were also drowned in greasy cheese and soggy. Unbelievable what they give guests for their money! There are definitely better restaurants on the promenade, in Salò!

05/01/2025: Lovely restaurant. We came for lunch and despite the summer heat, the outside area under the canopy was perfect for enjoying the good weather and the breeze that was blowing. The restaurant allows dogs and they even gave us a bowl for water. Very kind and helpful staff. Another plus is that the tables are well distributed and you are comfortably "wide". For the menu we took: - penne all'arrabbiata (off the menu), bigoli with truffles and local cheese (tombea); - fried lake perch x2 (very light breading, recommended); - baked potatoes as a side dish; Truly a beautiful place! The most important thing: the kitten was quietly cuddled 🐱

04/10/2024: Wir haben das Restaurant in diesem Urlaub zweimal besucht, einmal mit Familie und Kind, einmal als Paar, und waren beide Male vollauf zufrieden. Besonders das Trüffelmenü beim zweiten Besuch war fantastisch und hatte fast schon Sterneniveau: fünf Gänge, alle von hoher Qualität, gut abgestimmt und auf den Punkt genau am Tisch. Gerne hätten wir auch die vielversprechende Weinbegleitung genommen, aber mein Mann musste fahren. Nächstes Jahr garantiert wieder!

17/03/2025: Excellent pizza with a soft and light dough, I recommend the fried calamari (photo). I really appreciated that with the request for sauces (we also took french fries) we received a whole jar full of single-serving calvé ketchup and heinz mayo, usually it works that when you go out to eat they are stingy and bring you 2 maximum. We took the table with a lake view, shame about the reflections of the ceiling light on the glass otherwise it would have been really top. The women's bathroom was a bit far from where we were sitting but nothing to say about the cleanliness. The tiramisu was also excellent.

12/03/2025: We stopped for lunch and ate the pizza with seafood, which was delicious and very rich in fish. We accompanied the pizza with a recommended sparkling white wine from the house, which was very good, and to finish with two equally good desserts. Congratulations for the education and professionalism of the young waiter. We will be back.

05/03/2025: I only stopped for an aperitif, I had a packed lunch, which obviously I ate on the wall. They were kind enough to lend me a knife to cut my sandwich. The spritz was super, as was the friendliness of the bartenders: highly recommended! Next time I'll leave the sandwich at home and have lunch with them.

06/03/2025: Sunday evening, the 3 of us... endless waiting despite the place having 1 occupied table already served and another 3 or 4 to be served... after a long wait the pizza arrives... which tastes like nothing or almost nothing... maybe we ended up on the wrong evening, we'll try again

08/01/2025: I had dinner at the "La Svolta" restaurant last August 23rd, together with my girlfriend and two other friends. We opted for 3 cuts and a Milanese cutlet, chosen by my girlfriend. After a first bite, she immediately realized that the meat was spoiled: from the smell and greenish color it was impossible not to notice that it had gone bad. Having pointed out the serious problem to the owner, he quickly apologized and brought a new cutlet. At the checkout we didn't have any preferential treatment, on the contrary. €93.80 was the total and €93.80 we paid. If I were them, at least I would have offered coffee! Not at all elegant!

08/11/2024: The platform on the lake is its highlight, but the atmosphere is also nice/cozy inside. Big pizzas with generous topings, at good prices. The lemon sorbet was the best of the desserts we tried.
