08/07/2026: What a fantastic find in the heart of Desenzano! Upon arrival, we were greeted with such kindness and immediately noticed the attention to detail, starting with the original placemats that invite you to indulge. The bruschetta is truly spectacular, both for its presentation and the quality of the ingredients. We particularly loved the one with mortadella and chopped pistachios, a combination that won us over from the first bite. We'll definitely be back to try other variations.

09/08/2026: Excellent gluten-free cuisine, but a shame for celiacs. We had a great time; the food was good, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We ate there for lunch, dinner, and takeout (August 2026). The only thing for celiacs like us: the dishes are served without anything. No crackers, breadsticks, bread, pizza, or focaccia, even if they make them gluten-free. The cover charge is the same for everyone. I would still recommend the place because the quality is there. I just hope they introduce a little something special for us celiacs in the future. :) M.M.

07/07/2026: We visited Kapperi with our family and had a lovely table in the tastefully decorated courtyard. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the tables were generously spaced, and we were able to enjoy the evening in peace and quiet. We were particularly drawn to the restaurant because of its excellent reputation for gluten-free cuisine. And we weren't disappointed. The gluten-free pizza really set the bar very high for us. Both my wife and I agree that it was the best gluten-free pizza we've had so far at Lake Garda. The other dishes were also consistently of a very high standard. The beef tartare was outstanding, as was the swordfish. The wine selection also impressed us, and the desserts were excellent as well. The homemade tiramisu was delicious, and the ice cream was a big hit with our children. My father-in-law was especially impressed by the foie gras with caramelized onions. He travels to France regularly and said that this was among the best foie gras he has ever eaten. As we recall, the dish, at around €39, wasn't exactly cheap, but in his opinion, it was worth every penny. The service was also very friendly and always tried its best to understand and fulfill all our requests, despite the language barrier. If I had to offer a small suggestion for improvement, it would be this: Our server didn't seem very experienced. Wine glasses weren't automatically refilled, and empty bottles or used dishes sometimes remained on the table for a while, so we occasionally had to ask for things to be cleared away. A less cluttered table is especially pleasant when traveling with children. However, this is really nitpicking and should be taken as constructive feedback. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The high quality of the food, the lovely ambiance, and the very friendly service, in our opinion, justify the slightly higher price. We would gladly return and give it a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars.

19/07/2026: Me and my friends found this place by walking around. Ordered seafood mix as a starter and carbonaras as main. For drinks- house wine. Everything was absolutely wonderful and very low price for the quality. If you want to dine at a lowkey place that has amazing food come here. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Didn’t feel touristy or rushed as the other ones around. Maybe don’t get the cremé brulé, wasnt as good.

15/06/2026: We stop here every time we're in Desenzano. For us, it's one of the best restaurants! Authentic regional cuisine with excellent wines and friendly service! The ambiance in this little alley is fantastic.

09/06/2026: I discovered this place on vacation last week and haven't left! Delicious lake fish, delicious pizza, equally delicious desserts, and excellent value! Located on a side street in the center of Desenzano, it has a truly charming atmosphere! The staff are top-notch...they make you feel at home! This will be a regular stop for me, as I often visit Lake Garda!

06/08/2026: I've always eaten well, but today with my wife it was a disaster. The first course was inedible, while my wife had a 2-3 ounce grilled sea bass, toasted and sprinkled with spices for €24. It's a shame it was a benchmark.

13/08/2026: Restaurant/pizzeria next to the lake that's always worth a visit. We've been back often since the first time. The pizza and desserts are excellent. The service is super attentive and friendly.

12/08/2026: Unfortunately, a huge disappointment. The restaurant was completely overcrowded and extremely loud, and on top of that, we had a very long wait for our food. Three waiters came to our table, glanced at our order, and simply walked away. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else to drink or order anything. Even when it came time to pay, the restaurant manager just walked away from the cash register – unacceptable and unprofessional behavior, in our opinion. The food was ultimately just average and nothing special. We simply cannot understand the many positive reviews and the hype. Definitely not worth a return visit for us.

28/04/2026: Nice, spacious place with an outdoor area. Good pizzas with quality ingredients. The desserts are also excellent. The only reason we're missing a star is because we waited 50 minutes after ordering and noticed that a table after us, all of whom were having pizza, was served first.

07/06/2026: A very nice, unpretentious spot for an ice cream or aperitif by the lake. Beautiful views of the lake (I recommend going at sunset).

30/05/2026: I went for lunch today... very nice place as described in the other posts, the staff doesn't do table service but is very kind and efficient... the sandwich was a bit so-so... but the view made up for it all! The only downside was the music was too loud and inappropriate in style... it was hard to chat.

08/08/2026: I've been here several decades ago and can confirm the amazing pizza. The only flaw is that the dining room is a bit too hot.

07/08/2026: Tried the pizza for the first time a week ago: a marinara, and my companion's pizza was with spicy salami (which wasn't spicy), red onion, and gorgonzola (alas, not melted). In any case, the dough was terrible and hard to digest. The (kind) waitress informed me that it would be the classic pizza with a crust (and to be honest, my mouth was already watering!) - my marinara arrived (and if I order it, I know to expect passata and garlic). The garlic was barely noticeable, and it was chopped very finely and put in three bunches, burnt and dry. My companion's pizza: salami not spicy, gorgonzola not melted, raw onion... what surprises me is that it's a historic pizzeria (I asked about it, and having recently moved to the lake, I wanted a reference to a historic and local pizzeria), but apart from the furniture, there's nothing historic about it. The water glasses were the ones used for Fernet Branca Menta, and I had to refill them three times to drink (but let's leave that aside). Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I strongly advise against it.
