A wonderful place...very friendly and helpful staff...thank you

After a pleasant walk around Monte Isola we decided to stop for lunch in this restaurant. The spring day was beautiful so we opted to eat in the small outdoor garden. The view is excellent and the noise of the lake makes it a very relaxing place. We ordered some good tagliolini with raisins, pine nuts and anchovies and some not excellent meat ravioli with sauce. The prices appear to be high.

Take a Saturday stroll in Monte Isola on Lake Iseo. While we walk around the island enjoying the wonderful view we stop for lunch in this Trattoria and fortunately we find a table (very lucky not to have booked). The restaurant is on the lake and enjoys a wonderful view, the day lends itself to eating sitting on the open space in front of the restaurant organized with tables and umbrellas. The staff are wonderfully friendly and also available to advise on menu choices. We take absolutely local dishes with a salami platter and a space dish of lake fish. We then opt for a dish for two of various fish (fried fish, fish roll and many other delights) all really excellent. The homemade dessert crowns the whole thing: a very soft and really tasty almond tart and a lemon cream tart garnished with cream, excellent. Local bulk wine and water quench our thirst. The location also has an adjacent lawn where some children could distract themselves and a small playground. Excellent from all points of view, worth trying again but I recommend booking!!!
