14/03/2026: A truly disappointing experience. We arrived with our baby in a stroller and, instead of being greeted normally like any other customer, we were placed at a table outside the main dining room, practically in a corner between the entrance door, the fish refrigerator, and the coat check. An uncomfortable, cold, and undignified place to eat, which made us feel distinctly left out just because we had a baby in a stroller. In 2026, it's unacceptable for a family to be treated this way. A restaurant should welcome all customers with respect, not relegate them to a corner as if they were a problem. An experience that unfortunately doesn't make us want to return. Perhaps it would be helpful to remember that a child isn't a nuisance, but simply another customer. PS: I chose to give two stars only because I want this review to be read and seen by as many people as possible. If it were based on the experience I had, the score would have been zero.

03/03/2026: I'm sharing this review for those of us who, like us, chose to organize a business dinner as a social gathering outside of work, but found ourselves having to manage different dietary requirements. We booked several weeks in advance, immediately notifying them that there would be a vegan and a vegetarian at the table. We were assured there would be no problems. Unfortunately, once we arrived at the restaurant, the person in charge of welcoming us seemed clearly struggling to offer suitable alternatives. The result was that one person dined on a simple plate of pasta with tomato sauce and a pumpkin cream soup. Considering that, with a bottle of budget-friendly wine, we spent around €70 each, we would have expected more attention and care, especially after having communicated our needs in advance. The staff was friendly, and we understand that vegan cuisine isn't the restaurant's focus. However, there was a certain superficiality in the handling of our request, both in terms of the variety of options and in relation to the overall cost of the evening.

23/03/2026: This is the second year in a row that, by chance, I find myself in the Brescia area on my birthday and decide to dine, this time with my partner, at Porteri. We couldn't have made a better decision: a warm welcome, a traditional menu revisited with a twist, excellent ingredients, and simple, delicious dishes, from the welcome entrees to dessert, including the bread. Excellent wine selection and attentive, kind, and friendly service. What can I say? See you next time!

20/02/2026: The atmosphere is meticulously maintained and perfect for a special evening. The dishes are stunning, thanks to the quality of the ingredients and the impeccable, attentive service. (We were happy to be served pre-cut dishes.)

08/02/2026: The restaurant is located in the basement of a historic building. The atmosphere is well-maintained. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The dishes are excellent and feature a variety of cuisines. The final bill is a bit pricey, but reasonable. The bathrooms and their access are a bit narrow and not up to par with the rest of the restaurant. On the other hand, the restaurant isn't huge, and they've made every effort to maximize space.

06/04/2026: Business lunch for €15, Michelin-starred food with authentic ingredients (black truffle risotto with delicious real truffle). All this topped off with an authentic Indian atmosphere, with the ever-present smiles. Kudos to the staff and those who organized it. PS: Even though we arrived at closing time, we ate slowly and with a homely atmosphere.

26/09/2025: For a business dinner, I was delighted to change restaurants this evening. The dishes were sophisticated and carefully crafted. The flavors amazed me. I had a crispy egg, cacio e pepe caramels, and a sorbet with Calamansi citrus. I made a great impression! Thanks to the super professional staff who explained the dishes so well.

31/01/2026: A table of six, all first-timers, who came by word of mouth. Superlative pizza, super filling, and above all, tasty, quality ingredients!!! Huge dessert portions, just like they used to make in the '80s!!! Fair prices. Friendly staff.

16/03/2026: At Classico in Brescia, you dine within a well-constructed setting, crafted with intelligence and a certain flair for effect. In our case, a table for twelve in a room all to ourselves: a rare privilege, almost like a small private courtyard. It was also a passageway to other rooms, true, but one of those passageways that didn't disturb at all, quite the opposite. Let's just say the comings and goings contributed to the atmosphere with a significant visual appeal. Then comes the food, and there the place really raises the bar. That sort of caviar toast—let's call it that, even if the term does it less justice than it deserves—was remarkable: opulent, precise, just the right amount of brash. A bite designed to be memorable and, more importantly, capable of doing so. The steak was also excellent, enormous but not gross, cooked to perfection, with that confident handling that distinguishes a significant dish from a simple exercise of muscle. And yet, just when the scene seemed headed for an almost unanimous triumph, the downfall came. Not about wine, not about food, but about spirits. A friend of mine, who was in the car with me, drank six Negronis. Six. Now, a well-made Negroni isn't an evening herbal tea for delicate souls: it has its own structure, its own weight, its own alcoholic dignity. The fact that after six glasses he was more sober than I, who had drunk half a glass of champagne and more mineral water than in a spa treatment, raises a philosophical question even before it's an oenological one. I'm not questioning the elegance of his hand. I'm questioning his shyness. The bill, €1,800 for twelve, so €150 each, isn't robbery: it's a choice, and choices have their price. However, that faint feeling remains that the evening was very nice, the food excellent, the atmosphere successful, but the final price is estimated with a hint of enthusiasm more than what, upon leaving the place, one is willing to grant. In short, Classico is a beautiful, well-constructed place, with high-quality cuisine and a clear talent for creating atmosphere. However, places that aim high cannot afford to slip up in detail, because it's the details that decide whether the memory of a dinner remains bright or becomes slightly corrosive. I had a good time there, I ate very well, but not enough to avoid the final doubt: remarkable, yes; impeccable, no.

01/03/2026: We visited this steakhouse and had a truly fantastic experience. The quality of the meat is simply excellent: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can immediately taste the high-quality ingredients and the respect they provide. We tried several courses, and every dish was meticulously prepared, from the presentation to the side dishes, all well-balanced and never boring. The portions were also more than satisfying. A special mention goes to the staff: friendly, smiling, and always available without being intrusive. They carefully advised us on both the choice of dishes and the wine, making us feel welcomed and comfortable throughout the day. A place where you eat truly well and enjoy a pleasant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who loves properly prepared meat. Top quality for the price.

31/03/2026: In Piazzale Arnaldo, a sunny terrace where you can enjoy the sunshine. Tables are well-spaced and beautifully set. Attentive, professional service. Good dishes, beautifully presented. The tartare is excellent! A good restaurant in the city center. Adequate price.

26/03/2026: Saturday lunch after a morning of shopping in Brescia. The location, right in the center, is beautiful. We started with two appetizers: horse meat tartare and Brescia-style snails, both delicious. Followed by ricotta and spinach casoncelli and macaroni with fillet ragù, especially delicious. The sbrisolona with grappa was also good. The only downside is the slightly high prices.
