17/05/2026: A very elegant and refined atmosphere, with top-notch service. Excellent cheese selection, exquisite fillet steak Rossini, delicious gelato, and delicious pastries. The warm homemade bread is excellent. Prices are in line with the quality of the food, the service offered, and the charming location overlooking the lake. In my opinion, a top rating.

07/05/2026: A small, charming restaurant in a quiet side street. They offer light meals (sandwiches, toast, paninis, etc.) that are quite filling, as the portions aren't too small. The food is tasty and the waiters are friendly.

I write these words with a hint of melancholy, after returning to what for me, since time immemorial, has been not just a restaurant, but a true refuge. I've been coming to Rucola since I was a boy; it saw me become a man, a husband, and a father. It's where I've celebrated the most important milestones in my family, from my children's first communion, with the certainty that we would be welcomed not as customers, but as longtime friends. Yesterday, sadly, I strongly felt the absence of what made this place special: Biagio's warm and ever-present welcome. The memories of Maurizio's Inter Milan that colored the shelves. That historic cuisine, made of unchanging flavors that tasted of home and security. Food is important, but the owners' smile was the secret ingredient that completed every dish. Entering La Rucola meant disconnecting from everything and feeling protected by a management team that put their heart and soul into it. ​I want to send a heartfelt greeting to all the people who have shaped the history of this restaurant and to all the customers who, like me, shared a part of their journey at those tables. 04/05/2026: An experience to forget. We arrived at 8:15 PM with a reservation, and the pizzas arrived at the table at 9:45 PM. All three pizzas were wrong; mine and my wife's should have had olives, but they forgot them. My son's pizza also had chips, which weren't requested. The pizza dough was dry and hard to cut after a few minutes. While waiting, I ordered a basket of chips, which was half full of paper towels. For €7, I expected it to be full. The tables adjacent to ours didn't fare any better; they had a very long wait for their pizzas, too. The next day, we didn't have a good time. I'm giving it 2 stars because I saw the head waiter go to help the pizza chef. At the cashier, they justified themselves by saying that almost everyone else had ordered pizza, and they offered us limoncello. The restaurant is large and has a terrace overlooking the historic center of Maderno. 3 pizzas, a beer, a still water, a basket of chips for €55.

02/05/2026: Very good restaurant overlooking the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. Gluten-free pasta and pizza are available. I had a gluten-free pizza with poecini mushrooms, truffles, and mozzarella; the crust was ready, but it was very good! The gluten-free pizza with arugula and parmesan was also good! Highly recommended.

10/05/2026: We had wanted to visit this osteria with its outstanding view for a long time. Finally, on May 9th, 2026! The ambiance was exceptional, and the two owners and hosts provided very attentive and personal service. The view over the southern part of Lake Garda was breathtaking. We had the seasonal tasting menu – and every single bite was an explosion of flavor. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality! 👌🙏🫶

01/05/2026: Beautiful entrance, large space, out-of-place modern art, good dishes but some poorly explained, very high prices. 6. I agree with what was written previously about water, coffee, and cover charge! Service was inattentive for the "height" of the place. I was left with crumbs on the table while another table was being cleaned, only because I was looking at the reviews and I was seen! I ordered a first course, brought in a large "bowl," for a place of this height, naaaaaaa! Place to review and revise the merits given previously!

25/05/2026: The hotel is in a beautiful location with exceptional views. The pool, the small beach area, and the overall atmosphere are truly wonderful. The rooms are adequate, although the bed, at 160 cm wide, is a bit narrow. The hotel is very well-maintained, and it's a real pleasure to stay here. A very nice family lovingly cares for the hotel. The breakfast is of high quality, with most of the products being organic, and everything is fresh and delicious. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. The hotel also boasts an excellent restaurant.

10/05/2026: Excellent food, cooked with heart and soul. Something for gourmets who appreciate quality. Portions are very generous and easily enough for two. The wine pairings are perfect for tantalizing your taste buds and leaving you wanting more. The service is very friendly, warm, attentive, and professional. You feel like you're in a Michelin-starred restaurant.

30/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. I had the pleasure of trying the fixed-price business lunch menu. A varied vegetable buffet, including some unique condiments. A varied selection of first and second courses, both meat and seafood. Excellent value, very good food, and generous portions. I will definitely be back.

02/05/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant, and I have to say it was an incredible experience. The staff was courteous and helpful. As for lunch, the food was of the highest quality, made with top-quality ingredients. Delicious desserts. This restaurant offers a menu that's different from the usual. I couldn't find anything negative about it; I'd go back 100 times over.

30/04/2026: Very nice hosts and everything was wonderfully clean. Unfortunately, we found the prices a bit too high for what was offered, so the value for money wasn't quite right for us. Otherwise, though, the service was friendly!
