L'Osteria H2O In Moniga del garda

We had wanted to visit this osteria with its outstanding view for a long time. Finally, on May 9th, 2026! The ambiance was exceptional, and the two owners and hosts provided very attentive and personal service. The view over the southern part of Lake Garda was breathtaking. We had the seasonal tasting menu – and every single bite was an explosion of flavor. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality! 👌🙏🫶

Beautiful entrance, large space, out-of-place modern art, good dishes but some poorly explained, very high prices. 6. I agree with what was written previously about water, coffee, and cover charge! Service was inattentive for the "height" of the place. I was left with crumbs on the table while another table was being cleaned, only because I was looking at the reviews and I was seen! I ordered a first course, brought in a large "bowl," for a place of this height, naaaaaaa! Place to review and revise the merits given previously!

An excellent dinner, all about delicacy. The appetizers were excellent (pictured: red shrimp carpaccio), followed by the amazing cuttlefish. The dessert, thanks to the waiter's recommendation, was very good and delicate. Highly recommended for a stellar dinner.

Dining at Trattoria H2O was an experience that goes far beyond simply "eating well." It's not just professional: it's human, attentive, almost empathetic. One example: we discovered peschiole, a new flavor for us, and we loved them immensely. Without us asking, the owner noticed our enthusiasm and brought us an extra portion for free. A simple gesture, but one that says it all. This is the true meaning of hospitality: making people feel seen, listened to, and pampered. A place you'll want to return to, not just for the food, but for how you feel.

This restaurant is highly recommended. We were there on December 30, 2025, and were initially drawn in simply by the fact that there were more than just two main courses on the menu. Ultimately, we opted for one of the two tasting menus and were not disappointed: five courses (we had the version without fish and seafood) with a wonderful interplay of flavors and textures. All this accompanied by very attentive service and a view across the lake to Sirmeone.

We stayed at the H2O during our holiday and chose the surprise fish menu. A very good, varied menu; every course was a delight. Excellent service with very good recommendations.

We probably didn't experience the à la carte dishes, but our set menu dinner was decent. Nothing particularly WOW!, but good. The service was less than stellar.
