11/10/2025: We had dinner with our children at this restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service was just as good. The waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, even to the youngest guests. We truly enjoyed our evening and are very grateful for it!
21/09/2025: We stumbled upon Lido di Sala after wondering around Sala Comacina where we were staying. It's incredibly charming, with covered tables overlooking a scenic cove of water. Luca, our server, was wonderful and personable, and the food was delicious. Nothing fancy, just a well-prepared and very tasty meal. The ossobucco was fabulous, and the vanilla banana liqueur dessert was amazing. Thank you to Luca and staff for a wonderful Sunday dinner!

02/11/2025: Never again. We booked at 8:00 PM and had already been told they run a double shift and would have to vacate our table at 9:40 PM. Aware of this, we showed up punctually, fully respecting the work of others. After just 10 minutes of waiting, the appetizers and tapas arrived. I thought... how efficient... too bad they also brought the main courses and paella at the same time, without even letting us try the appetizers. At one point, there wasn't even room to put our glasses down, but the worst came when, just to hurry, they placed the hot paella pan on my 3-year-old daughter. They made me furious until the waiter realized they had gone much further. In the end, they didn't even clear away the appetizer plates, and we were forced to put them on the shelves in the restaurant to eat the meat, which had by then gone cold. We couldn't wait to finish and leave. By 9:00 PM, we were out of the restaurant. THANK YOU FOR RUINING OUR SATURDAY NIGHT

The pizza is good, and both fish and meat dishes are excellent. The wine list is a bit limited, but it doesn't have Michelin-starred pretensions, so that's fine.

29/11/2025: Unfortunately, we arrived to find the restaurant closed 😭 The area is so beautiful, and the walkways were like a story or a dream you never wanted to wake up from. You feel like even the pictures don't do justice to what you see. Glory be to the Creator.
30/10/2025: I wanted to like the food more, but overall I felt the experience and the food were overpriced. Bellagio is expensive, but there are better options with better food in town.

26/08/2025: I ate at the Albiro restaurant in Bellagio and was very impressed overall.
The menu (five courses) was outstanding, the quality of the food absolutely top-notch. I would particularly like to highlight the service: attentive, warm, and professional. The wine pairing by the sommelier was an experience in itself – something you don't get every day.
Why "only" four stars?
We enjoyed two bottles of wine during the meal, and at the end I asked if I could get a bottle to take away at a better price. I knew in advance that the same wine costs around €30 in stores. However, in the restaurant, it would cost the same price to take away as it would have if served at the table – namely €115. This disappointed me, because restaurants usually give a fairer price for takeaway, since there's no service included. Unfortunately, this felt inflexible and a bit rude.
All in all, it was still a great evening with fantastic food and service – I just wish they had been more accommodating with the wine policy.

26/09/2025: We had reserved a table for four outside, but the lady who welcomed us arrogantly and rudely told me, "No, inside only," simply because another, larger group had reserved the outside tables after us. This was actually a minor issue, because once inside, we were treated like dirt, most likely because we were foreigners. The food was generally awful: appetizers full of oil, first courses that were very hard to digest, and desserts that were bland (perhaps the only thing that stood out was the tiramisu). The final surprise: €40 per person, without wine, just water and coffee. Note that the bill was calculated by hand after a wait of about 10 minutes. I highly recommend it, especially given the rudeness of the staff!!!

29/06/2025: Este fue un gran hallazgo, lejos de la locura junto al lago y algunos de los restaurantes centrados en el turismo. Está en la esquina de una plaza y la noche que la encontramos había una banda tocando y el ambiente era genial.
Cenamos, el menú no es enorme, pero todavía era difícil de elegir, ya que todo parecía delicioso. Luego está la carta de vinos, que es vasta, pero el personal es increíblemente bien informado y ayudará con las selecciones con su plato. Después de nuestra primera comida que reservamos para más tarde en la semana (nuestro aniversario de boda), pero no podíamos esperar tanto para volver así que tuvimos otra visita antes de entonces!
Durante las 3 visitas tuvimos chapuzones, varios platos de pasta, bistec, bolas de berenjena y postres, todos los cuales eran increíbles. También creo que tuve la mejor botella de prosecco durante nuestra visita a este restaurante. La pasta de sardina es una especialidad y las alcaparras fritas en ella eran increíbles!
El equipo allí es bien informado y servicial, hablan buen inglés y se siente como un lugar muy hogareño, tradicional.
