27/10/2025: On our way home, we stopped at this pizzeria and restaurant, and I must say it was a truly beautiful location. A spacious space with double doors (which in the colder months prevents direct airflow), a very large dining room with well-spaced tables. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The aroma of the food was inviting. We had a pizza and a calzone... truly excellent... quality, top-quality ingredients, the draft wine was really good... and the coffee was good too. The place is clean and well-kept, and the nice thing is that people still use tablecloths (something they've long forgotten about in favor of paper placemats). ...fair prices...highly recommend it...

24/05/2025: A winery selling bulk and bottled wines, sponsored by a Verona-based company. They offer a good variety of everyday wines, but also have gifts for special occasions like birthdays. The manager was very kind and helped me choose a gift. Recommended!

10/11/2025: The owner of the B&B where we stayed for the weekend recommended this place. It was very nice, with a relaxed atmosphere and a generous aperitivo with many options. I was with a friend who has a wheat intolerance and must avoid it at all costs; the chef, Antonio, gave us excellent advice and was very considerate. I highly recommend it.

A wide selection of good-quality cocktails, starting at €8. If you'd like, you can add a dish prepared by the chef, choosing from pre-made dishes, for €6. We had sausage risotto, farinata, vegetables, black rice with vegetables, couscous with vegetables, caramelized onion, and focaccia—all delicious. We spent €30 for two for two cocktails and two dishes, and we left feeling full but not weighed down.
The atmosphere is pleasant and intimate, perfect for couples or small groups.

04/10/2025: Overrated. Very high prices for a pizza that has nothing Neapolitan about it: it doesn't have a thick crust and the dough isn't "honeycombed."
They got the order wrong, resulting in 2 out of 6 pizzas being delivered incorrectly.
The ambiance seems well-kept, but to me it's sterilely modern.
A nice touch was another customer's dog peeing right at the entrance.
The cover charge is embarrassing (€3.50) given the use of paper placemats.
17/09/2025: Quick lunch with a friend and baby, two pizzas, a burger, water, and coffee.
In just under an hour, we ate and chatted at a place I really like!
The pizza is super good 🔝

24/04/2025: Disfrutamos de nuestra segunda visita en tantos años a Sant 'Ambroeus. El menú es muy local y muy bueno. Los cursos de pasta y ternera fueron fantásticos Mientras está situado en la plaza principal, todavía puede tener una cena íntima mientras disfruta de la actividad que rodea la plaza. La carta de vinos es fantástica, con muchas opciones no disponibles en los Estados Unidos, que es refrescante.
Fue un restaurante maravilloso para nuestra última noche en esta mágica ciudad vieja.
16/03/2025: Bel ristorante a Bergamo alta. Casoncelli molto buoni e pure la torta ambrosiana. Servizio veloce e attento.
Non proprio economico, ma ne vale sicuramente la pena

02/11/2025: Poor quality food. We asked for sautéed vegetables and they served them boiled. The lasagna was made with sour tomato sauce. The pizza was mediocre. You pay €3.50 per person for a cover charge, but you get cheap oil and rubbery bread.

10/11/2025: I visited this restaurant on a Sunday. I hadn't booked, but they found me a table, even with two dogs in tow. A positive experience. Helpful staff. The menu is also suitable for those with gluten and casein intolerances.
