Friendly place with great quality food, as with all places in Lugano it’s too expensive for what it is pizza is one of the cheapest things you can make yet prices still regularly hit over 20 CHF

We bought take away pizzas from here 1 evening during our stay in the village and they were very nice. We also had a meal in the restaurant. The food was good, but like a previous reviewer please be careful of the pricing of the 'shared rib-eye steak'. We were also charged 100 euros - based on cost per 100 grams. My problem is - this was not explained to us as we ordered. The rib eye steak was on the daily specials board - but they said they only had 1 left and it was for 2 people to share. There was no price advertised for any of the specials and we were not told a price for the shared rib eye when we ordered. If I had been told (or had the foresight to ask) I would not have ordered it at that price - a large part of the 'weight' was the bone. Hay ho! You live and you learn and they lost us as customers for the rest of our stay. I'm not saying don't go - just always ask how much each dish is!

The food was okay, nothing special. The strange part was that the waiter brought a wooden box to the table and asked me to put a tip in it. I've never experienced that before in Italy, and it felt a bit awkward.
