02/05/2026: The menu selection and flavors are well-suited to Chinese tastes. However, the owner's recommendations for dishes not on the menu were disappointing, and the bill was arbitrarily inflated and calculated haphazardly. Prices for some categories didn't match the final price, and when confronted, the owner offered excuses and counter-arguments. Their business practices are unseemly; this isn't how they make money, and it's not something they can do overnight. For tourists like us, it's probably a one-off transaction. I wish them booming business!

22/04/2026: I had previously given it 5 stars, but something must have changed in the management, because the last time I was there the difference from the past was evident.

12/05/2026: Intrigued by the always-full parking lot, we decided to try it. The result was good: a tasty pizza with a light and distinctive crust. The service and attention were excellent. The dessert was very good, but the coffee was a little less so. The place is quite noisy. We'll be back to try the food. Suitable for everyone...if there's a couple of you, you don't need to book, but I might call.

01/05/2026: Royal is the classic pizza restaurant that seems increasingly lacking in Italy lately: a simple place, but where you know you're going to eat a fantastic pizza. And that's exactly what it was for me: the pizza was truly good, the dough incredibly light—I've never slept so well after eating pizza for dinner—and the toppings weren't bad either. The only negative: I love fish pizza, so I ordered the one with shrimp. Everything was perfect, except that the shrimp were completely tasteless and ruined the overall experience a bit. Nothing too serious, but next time I'll definitely try something else. The Ascoli olives were also good. Super fair price, friendly and fast service.

12/03/2026: A lovely place in the lower village. Good food, plentiful, great prices, delicious pizza, attentive and fast service, and above all, a courtesy and empathy that deserves applause...and there were 45 of us, not 4! Thanks again for everything.

15/05/2026: Excellent location, good food despite slightly repetitive breakfast. Nice staff although they should employ people who speak fluent English. It was difficult to communicate sometimes with the receptionists, cleaning staff.

03/05/2026: The counters sold at the hotel are a disaster. The seller spoons the ice cream into the soup. It lacks flavor, is small, and is expensive. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

07/04/2026: For lovers of Spanish cuisine, we tried Galician octopus and Serrano ham, a good Patanegra burger, and paccheri with tomato, burrata, and Iberian prosciutto. In my opinion, this place has untapped potential in a lovely setting. The service was decent. A minor flaw was the chocolate cake, which arrived a bit too dry, and the dishes were a bit sparsely garnished. I recommend it, all washed down with a nice sangria.

07/04/2026: Family dinner, terrible service, 25 minutes for a chocolate cake that arrived overcooked and inedible. The sea bass fillet with "vegetables" was a handful of red cabbage, the burger was average, nothing special, the ham wasn't bad. The staff also deserves a thumbs-up: the man at the cash register doesn't understand the concepts of kindness and customer service, and the people in the dining room were distracted and poorly trained. I wouldn't recommend it.

02/05/2026: I was a guest at this restaurant, which I didn't know, and I hope to return as soon as possible. A joyful and bright birthday party. The waiters were attentive and kind. The food was very good, with plenty of second helpings. The table was round, and the music wasn't loud. The children were able to play outside freely and safely...what more could you ask for? Recommended? I'd definitely say yes.

08/04/2026: Lunch at the Bear's Den with friends, a significant embarrassment considering I had chosen the restaurant. The dishes were nothing to write home about, cooked with care (considering the rather high prices, of course). The service was absolutely embarrassing, ordering dishes after about a 40-minute wait. The appetizers arrived on time, the first courses were each served at different times, forcing the diners (there were four of us) to eat alone. Even the last first course was served with a considerable delay, already at this point the irritation was sky-high. For dessert, we waited 50 minutes in vain for a waiter to come and take our order, then, exhausted by the long wait, we gave up. We also waited to pay the bill, standing at the cash register, and it should be noted that the restaurant was not crowded!!!!! TO BE FAIR, GIVEN THE PROTESTS, WE FOUND A 40 EURO DISCOUNT ON OUR BILL, WHICH IS STILL HIGH FOR THE SERVICE PROVIDED. IN ANY CASE, A WORTHY THANK YOU FOR THE DISCOUNT.

15/02/2026: Good morning, I wanted to tell you that last night (Valentine's Day 2026) was a beautiful evening, both in terms of atmosphere and music with a live guitarist, but... An hour and a half to receive a first course, a second course, and a side dish seems excessive and unacceptable! The food was delicious, but between the appetizer, cheese, and jam, and the first course, second course, and side dish, far too much time passed. It was almost embarrassing for the staff; everyone at the table complained! The staff was also very inattentive; they didn't clear the wine glasses for those of us who don't drink wine. They cleared the dirty dishes from the table after 20-30 minutes... Honestly, it wasn't the evening I imagined. Furthermore, they didn't leave the book I had requested and already paid for on the table; in fact, I had to ask for it at the cashier! Let's just say you have a lot of room for improvement, especially given the restaurant's prices, these inattentiveness and delays are unacceptable. At the cashier's desk, they apologized for the delay, but there was no financial return. Frankly, I was somewhat disappointed with the evening. I also wrote to you to encourage you to improve.

15/02/2026: A disappointing experience on Valentine's Day. We waited a long time for both our initial drink and the bread, which arrived only after a prompt. The first course arrived after about an hour and a half, with the explanation being an order issue. Unexpected events can happen, but the situation was handled horribly: no clear communication and uncontrolled timing, with only two waiters for the entire room. While we were still eating our first course, we were served our second courses, as if they were just trying to save time. When it came to the bill, jokingly pointing out that they seemed to have forgotten about us, the owner replied, "A little bit of everything," with no real apology and no commercial gesture despite the poor service. It's a shame because the food was good, but the service ruined what should have been a special evening.

03/05/2026: The place is the quintessence of ugliness, an insult to Milanese chic. The service is bored and unfriendly. The food doesn't reflect the menu: the house wine is of poor quality, the ingredients are cheaply purchased; the result: the pizza defies criticism, but the rest, unfortunately, doesn't. For example: dry, stale bread, like dry horse bread, a single sour cherry tomato in the Caesar salad, but the fridge is a sign of wealth: pineapples!

28/03/2026: Even late at night, the managers and staff are helpful and friendly. Good pizza made with carefully selected ingredients. The platter is a specialty, a signature dish with a wide selection of options. Clean and friendly, with ample parking and adjacent parking.

14/02/2026: What a scandal! I made a reservation for Valentine's Day, and the place is permanently closed, with three strikes. A romantic evening ruined!

07/06/2026: Nice little spot and great staff but the food was a little disappointing. The carbonara was very eggy (scrambled in parts) and salty. The garda wine was great!

03/05/2026: The food we ate was good, but the prices were decidedly out of line, and even more so, they weren't justified by the almost nonexistent and extremely slow service. Also, the bathroom is outside the restaurant. In winter, you have to wear a coat to use the bathroom.

02/05/2026: Good food but ridiculous prices... a bottle of water €5, a cover charge €5 (and the table setting really left much to be desired, there wasn't even a tablecloth), a dessert €12... I thought maybe a small biscuit or chocolate would arrive with the €2.50 coffee, but nothing. No attention to the customer. Too bad.

23/02/2026: Located on a somewhat hidden street, it's worth discovering. The summer area is lovely, as is the veranda, which is also used in the winter. The dishes are delicious and well-prepared. I'm not a pizza fan, and the "Non Solo Bar" always manages to change my mind. The desserts are beyond compare. Highly recommended.
