09/11/2025: A magnificent spot to while away the time with a glass of wine or a stiff cocktail. There's an excellent wine list and an extensive selection of mixed drinks. The place boasts a wonderful view of the yacht harbor. Highly recommended )

12/10/2025: We first caught the attention of Michelin Guides about this restaurant. Located in the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Magnificent views. Excellent tasting menu. Excellent value for money.

27/09/2025: We came to the restaurant for its gourmet evening menu and its reputation, but we were disappointed. The setting was splendid, with the meal on the panoramic terrace and a decent meal with very professional waiters. The biggest problem was the sommelier: a cold welcome, a haughty attitude. When I asked for a sweet white wine as an aperitif, which was on the menu, he told me there wasn't one. When I pointed out that it was on the menu, he replied that it wasn't up to date (!) and that "as an aperitif, we have bubbles" (!). He went back, and I heard him making unflattering remarks about the French and laughing with his colleagues. When we asked for a wine pairing, he told us there wasn't one and that we should only have one glass of white and one of red because the tasting menu included fish and then meat. We had two meat dishes, and the wine pairing and his knowledge of the menu were superb!! We've never received such service from a sommelier in a fine dining restaurant 👎 Poor

31/10/2025: The food is very delicious, especially the Mantecate pasta and the Capresee. I recommend it, but the staff are very arrogant and in a strange mood. If you don't mind them, there is no problem. Except for the bald one, there is no problem ;)

16/10/2025: One of the best pizzas I've ever had! The atmosphere is perhaps a little dated, but clean. The staff is fairly quick. The bathroom is small and cramped.

12/10/2025: The owner is unwelcoming, the service isn't quite in line with the prices; we've had our dishes arrive cold. The chairs at the entrance are pitiful and uncomfortable. The food is good, but there are better places; I don't recommend it.

09/11/2025: DISGUSTING service. When the table was almost finished, I asked for information about my pizza. They told me they were rushing it. Everyone was finished, so I canceled the order. They were clearing the table and brought me the pizza, saying, "I've already had them make it." I had them take it back since dinner was over. The waitress with dark red hair and piercings came over and said, "Even less, I don't make the pizzas." Rude, rude, and arrogant. Apparently, she doesn't even take or check orders.

02/11/2025: A casual yet elegant and welcoming place. The menu is good, with gourmet pizzas, often very sophisticated. The only drawback is the lack of at least one vegan pizza: it wouldn't take much to please many new customers. The staff is friendly and helpful. I often return, even just for an aperitivo. Prices are in line with the market.

29/06/2025: Este fue un gran hallazgo, lejos de la locura junto al lago y algunos de los restaurantes centrados en el turismo. Está en la esquina de una plaza y la noche que la encontramos había una banda tocando y el ambiente era genial. Cenamos, el menú no es enorme, pero todavía era difícil de elegir, ya que todo parecía delicioso. Luego está la carta de vinos, que es vasta, pero el personal es increíblemente bien informado y ayudará con las selecciones con su plato. Después de nuestra primera comida que reservamos para más tarde en la semana (nuestro aniversario de boda), pero no podíamos esperar tanto para volver así que tuvimos otra visita antes de entonces! Durante las 3 visitas tuvimos chapuzones, varios platos de pasta, bistec, bolas de berenjena y postres, todos los cuales eran increíbles. También creo que tuve la mejor botella de prosecco durante nuestra visita a este restaurante. La pasta de sardina es una especialidad y las alcaparras fritas en ella eran increíbles! El equipo allí es bien informado y servicial, hablan buen inglés y se siente como un lugar muy hogareño, tradicional.

30/10/2025: Vasco Da Gama Restaurant is a unique culinary experience in the center of Brescia! The atmosphere is charming and quaint, like stepping into a restaurant from another era. The cuisine is excellent, featuring traditional Brescian and Spanish dishes, such as paella and casoncelli. The location is ideal, in the heart of the historic center, just steps from Piazza della Loggia. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the dishes and the restaurant's unique atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the dish of the day, which offers an excellent selection of first and second courses at a reasonable price. The service is fast and attentive, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It's a must for anyone visiting Brescia looking for an authentic and memorable culinary experience. I will definitely be back!

13/10/2025: Trattoria San Giacomo is the place you find yourself at after you’ve failed to make dinner reservations elsewhere. The wait isn’t too bad. You are in the prettiest part of Bellagio and they offer pillows that you can sit down on as you wait on the stairs. They try their best to accommodate everyone and the staff is very communicative about timing. The food is not great. Perhaps some dishes are good, but overall not great. I decided to keep it simple—I ordered the pasta dish of the day which was a mushroom pasta and the fresh ricotta and spinach ravioli in sage and butter sauce. The pasta dish with mushrooms was so bad that I had them replace it, which they were kind enough to do with no charge. The mushrooms were boiled, tasteless and soggy. The pasta was served with the boiling water it came with, or that’s what I’m assuming as it was clear and bland. The ricotta ravioli on the other hand was good. Good, but not great. This is definitely a restaurant catered to tourists, which is fine. You’re just not going to have a fantastic meal here.

11/10/2025: We waited in line 45 minutes before they opened as you have to or you won’t get a spot, no reservations accepted. They have cushions you can crab and sit on the steps. Inside they play older American music loudly. Wish they had Italian music, would make for a better ambiance. After we were seated inside a little after 7pm it took 15 minutes to take our drink orders then another 15-20 minutes to get our water and coke delivered. We ordered the salad and soup of the day which were fine after we doused them with salt. We ordered the Osso Buco di Vitelo and the Tagliolini with meat sauce. Both were very bland and had no taste, had to douse them with salt. The beef shank was soft and tasted good after seasoning. The pasta was below average even after seasoning, barely any sauce or meat. Over all disappointed with the experience-this is a very hyped up place and not worth the hoops you have to jump through and time to get in here. We hoped for a better experience, but will not be coming back.
